I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a nice book to help kids understand how to overcome their anxiety or other fears. The illustrations are good at depicting how overwhelming and fast growing anxiety can be. There are nice tips to help alleviate the symptoms of anxiety that kids should be able to understand.

I can't believe I found this precious little self help for kid. As a mom with kid who often feel fear and anxiety, I struggle t
teach him how to handle it right.
This book is narrate with simple explanation. But every words is feel poking at each right spot. It explain how the anxiety showing and how to reduce it, even get rid of it. With high level stress life nowdays, I really hope find more books like this in our bookstore and give our kids enough material to knew mental healing process.

Thank you Netgalley to provide me with very meaningful kid self-help.

this is a great book to introduce kids with one of unpleasant feeling: fear. it has simple narrative and step-by-step approach. however, i think it will be best if the kids are accompanied by adults while reading this so it will not leads to misunderstanding.

I'm a big fan of picture books, especially those that put readers in a better place after reading it, whether it's a simple, fun story or one that directly addresses something a child might need to understand and cope with. This book fell in the latter category and did a fine job of providing tools to overcome fear, anxiety and other distressing feelings a child may experience. The illustrations were vivid and nicely compatible with the words. I would recommend!

This book Fear Not by Christina Furnival is super engaging and interactive. It simply explains fear and how to handle it. When sharing this book with my children aged 10 and 13, they can understand it easily. However, they are not connected emotionally. The illustrations in the book describe the text well. But, when reading it on Kindle, the drawings and word arrangement will look messy.

I suggest reading the book on your phone, Netgalley Shelf App, rather than on Kindle because the text and picture arrangement will look clearer on your phone. I also like it better if the pictures on the phone are consistently in a single mode and not double side by side. And for the above reasons, I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to kids undergoing fear and anxiety and parents who have kids experiencing it.

Oh my god! I love this book. This is the book I needed as a child for my anxieties. It’s one I would use now as an adult. This puts anxiety and nervous feelings into tangible pictures for children to understand. It also provides tools to help cope with the anxiety and work it out. What a wonderful book and tool. I love how it takes dealing with mental health in a positive way, and I hope to see more books like this. The pictures are well done and the font is easy to follow. A must for children and adults alike!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a digital review copy.

Fear Not! was a great book about fears and coping with them and anxiety. I liked the illustrations, they were simple but nice. I appreciated the discussion questions/conversation starters at the end. This book provides clear tools children can understand to face their fears.

Very sweet book that teaches radical acceptance of fears/worries and then, coping skills to help reduce symptoms of anxiety. This would be a good addition to my elementary library collection. The illustrations were cute, and I like the way fear was shown as a beckoning cloud. Very important to teach these skills to young children!
