So, there are so many places to start, my thoughts keep scattering to the wind...but let me see if I can wrangle them into some sort of order.

First, the title...love the playful play on words, and it totally fits the story. Yes, the novel they end up narrating is more erotica than romance, but their actual story, their dialogue outside the recording closet (not a typo!) is more flirty than downright dirty (whew!). Second, the characters and the ginormous family surrounding them are absolutely precious! I know, I know, how can I use THAT word right after the others I just typed seems confusing, and yet, it's so true! The Bellini's are a force to reckoned with, for better or worse, and those they take into their confidence possess something extraordinary as well. Whether it be strength of character, honesty, decision making capabilities, or physical attributes, there is something that calls to their overwhelming hearts and makes you one of them. That's definitely a plus on Sam's side of things...not that he needed many pluses because he's certainly capable of getting those on his own.

I wasn't set to love Sam, but rather loathe him, at first, because HELLO...talk about a history hard to ignore for our leading lady, but once she came around, once the truth came out, once things were spoken that shoulda, coulda, woulda solved things so long ago, I was a big fan. Sam isn't just looks, though those are certainly not lacking. He's got a heart of gold, and good intentions to boot, and while some of that gets him into trouble, it's nothing that a little help from his friends can't help him set right...eventually. As for our gal Piper, I could totally get behind her character's issues, dreams, dilemmas, and inability to say no to her family because she simply cares for them too much. It's not a bad thing, until it becomes a bad thing, but I digress...it helps shed light on the fact that she shuts down instead of rocking the boat, something that comes in handy when the time is right. Their friends and family are all memorable in their own ways, from her pain-in-the-you-know-where brother you definitely means well to her goddess of a mother with a brood big enough to make the lady in the how jealous...there's nary a one you won't come away feeling better having met. Now on to that story...

It was definitely a his dream versus her dream plot that had all these monkey wrenches flying in to tear of the works. Trust me, they DO tear up things something fierce, I mean billboards and radio spots taking aim at your "day job" while insinuating bad moral choices would do that to anyone, and yet through it all, it solidifies what each of them has found. It shakes things up, but makes it clearer to both parties just what is most important. I've never thought about the career of a voice actor, and while reading a story such as they encounter on your own is one thing, having to read it with someone else while playing those parts...OMG! How in the hey-day do they do it?! I get it, it's just a job, but whew...this story would have been enough to combust an audio track at times...I'm not certain I want to know how the story within the story would have turned out!

In the end, it definitely turns up the heat, but the heart of the story brings it all home.

This book was hilarious! I loved the romance between Sam and Piper! The Bellini family was amazing and I wish I was part of that family. The audiobook they are narrating though, so steamy! Pick up this delightful romp!

This was a super fun, steamy, entertaining romance—I loved the chemistry between the characters and their fully realized community!

I really enjoyed this book! The Sam is adorable (a real good guy), Piper's huge family was such a great part of the book, and there is an end-of-chapter where I actually had to put the book down for a minute because the second-hand embarrassment for Piper was so intense--and I mean that in the best way. Very spicy and great banter, snappy writing. Highly recommend!

I wasn’t sure what to expect heading in but I knew the premise sounded different, and it was. So cute! I loved the (relatively) small town feel and the big family. All of the siblings (especially Sam’s best friend/Piper’s brother) made the dynamic better. Also, audiobook narration never sounded so appealing 😂

What a fun read! I loved the banter between Sam and Piper and then tension as they narrated a book together! I love second chance romance, and this one was absolutely adorable!

When it comes to firefighter Sam O’Shea, absence—and a regime of tactical avoidance—has been working for me juuust fine. But when the audition of a lifetime falls in my pathetically broke lap, and he’s the only one who can help me land the job, I’m willing to make a deal with the devil if it means I can kickstart my career as a narrator for audio books.

The problem? We’d have to actually do the job. Together. And then we’re told it’s for an erotic romance. Narrating steamy lines in a tiny studio with a man who lights a fire under your skin? An occupational hazard. Accidentally inciting a town scandal when your erotic audiobook clips wind up on the radio? A crisis. And falling for the one man I promised my brother—and my heart—I wouldn’t touch?

A disaster—and temptation—I can’t resist.

Well this book was just darn adorable. Second chance AND brother's best friend with a side of voice acting job? Yes please.

I will say do not read the synopsis before going into this one because it kinda made me wait on something big to happen.

Go read this book! Talk Flirty to me is a contemporary Romance following Piper and Sam and it was so entertaining. It is a second chance at love that did not disappoint. The writing was good, and the story moved along at a great pace. This book is full of miscommunications, banter, laugh-out-loud moments, and some spicy making up so you don’t want to miss out. Their lives were complicated and messy but full of love and support and not just from each other reconnecting but Piper’s very large family being there and supporting Piper. I would highly recommend reading this book. It was great!
I received this advanced ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

Piper is a voice actress who had to move back to her home town because her mom is pregnant and needs help with the kids. This works out perfectly for Piper because she's in debt and she's out of work at the moment. However, she doesn't think about Sam O'Shea and all the history that is in her town. Low and behold right when she comes back she runs into Sam her ex from high school at the local bar. Immediately he starts in with her. She also finds out he is back to being buddies with her brother.. They were inseparable until Piper broke up with Sam. Now her parents can't stand him.
Fast forward a bit and Sam decides to help Piper out with her career and be her partner in a really sexy romcom they must narrate together. So much laughter and spice in this book. The characters really come together and help the reader to feel as if they are in a small town, tight knit community where everyone knows everyone's business.
Although overall a great read it was a bit overdone for me as well as being longer than was needed to tell the story.

This is such a gorgeous, hilarious, heart-felt debut. Livy is a master at weaving chemistry and tension into every word, and while TALK FLIRTY TO ME delves into some complex family-related storylines, Livy masterfully adds levity to these moments with whip-smart dialogue and laugh-out-loud moments to lighten the moment.

I absolutely adored Piper and Sam as separate, perfectly imperfect human beings, and loved them even more together. They both fought so hard to get to their HEA, both individually and as a couple. And the steam is so good, too—sexy, but with an emotional element that really shows their connection.

The secondary cast of characters are stand-outs; I want Nonna to be real and take care of me and feed me cannolis. The Bellini clan is big and loud and chaotic, and their love for each other shines on every page they're together.

Reading this book is like watching the most compelling tennis match: your eyes won't leave the ball (er, words on the page) until you get to the end—and thankfully, in this case, they all win at the end.

I can't wait for all the Livy Hart books to come!

One of my favorite troupes of all time Second Chance Romance (I am a hopeless romantic) and to make it even better it involves brother’s best friend (those are always love/hates). This is seriously one of my favorites of the year.

Right from the start I knew that Sam and Piper shared an amazing chemistry and the story was well balance which made they way they came together that much sweeter. They pushed one another and faced the past. Add in their crazy families and you have yourself a fantastic story.

The author did a wonderful job with the hilarity and seriousness of the story. I will be reading more of Livy Hart’s books in the future.

A special thanks to netgalley and entangled publishing for providing me with the ARC.

This was a cute, steamy, and fun romance - an easy, quick read. Both characters are likeable and the chemistry is great. I enjoyed it very much.

This book was so cute!

Second chance romance, brothers best friend, and high school sweethearts?? Yes please!

Piper is a voice actor and comes back home to help out with her pregnant mom and siblings. While she’s home, she runs into her old flame, Sam. They ended things 7 years ago and neither of them have forgotten it. Sam wants to run for mayor and needs help from Piper’s city council mother. One thing leads to another and Sam ends up feeling Piper record an audiobook hoping she’ll put in a good word with her mom. Will past feelings get in the way? Will history repeat itself?

This is a very easy and light read but it is very adorable. Piper is a likable character in my opinion but also understands her flaws. Sam’s character could have been developed more (didn’t really get too much of a feel for him growing up) but her seemed like a very likable adult. Their chemistry together was undeniable. Livy Hart knows how to write steam! There are so many moments! Love it!

We love the dual POVs. EVERY BOOK NEEDS IT!

Absolute recommend this book for any romance reader. Light and fluffy but still so swoon worthy! I will read anything Livy Hart writes!

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for the ARC copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved this book so much! Sam and Piper had explosive chemistry from the beginning, and the premise of the two of them narrating a steamy audiobook together was perfection. I can't wait to read whatever Livy Hart writes next!

This book was a huuuuuge crush for me!
It had been a long time since I had read romance because I always had the impression to read a little the same thing and the romances in one volume always go too fast for me at the level of the story. But here, the story was perfect. Piper and Sam have known each other since childhood, her brother’s best friend, and went out to high school together. But due to a lack of communication, 7 years pass without them crossing. The fact that they have a past in common makes the romance deeper and real.
I read the book so quickly, Sam and Piper are a lovely couple, even if they are bickering and pissing each other off half the book(and I loveeeed it). I loved the family spirit, the humor, the double viewpoint, and the spice. I highly recommend this book

A fresh take on a second chance romcom with Piper and Sam.
Piper has just returned home after 6 years and yes, her ex-Sam is still living in the same town. She has the chance to break into narrating audio books, but she needs a male counterpart. She may have just made a deal with the devil himself with her old high school boyfriend and her brother's best friend Sam. Surly they can make this work they are adults!! This couple needs to put their difference and somehow learn to work together on a project. It sounds simple but they are narrating a steamy audio book and it may have just leaked and became the talk of the town. This working together may just be the boost for this couple and their second chance! Piper and Sam are funny, sassy and may be on track to no longer be exes !!
