This is introductory book on the value of data analytics to an organization. Data engineers are very in demand in the job market, but the average organization is dealing with impact of the pandemic in the economy and looking for ways to downsize. If you work for Google, Amazon or Meta you probably need to learn new skills in data analytics but the rest of the organizations are focused on finances.

This was an interesting read as I want to learn more about this topic and I'm going to attend a CPID course.
It's a good introduction and it helped me to understand the topic and what I will learn.

I found this book a challenge to read as an ebook. It may be that I've read too many books pushing the value of data and analytics because the material felt regurgitated. As with other books I've read on this subject, the same power companies are used as examples. For those who are new to the data and analytics topic, there may be new ideas in this book.

ARC was provided by Kogan via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
