This book offers a fast paced plot and really interesting analysis of clues and motives. There was a bit too much emphasis on the protagonist as a beautiful attorney rather than as an attorney and I wonder if that is a trap some male authors fall into when creating female characters.

Intrigue, law, drama. What more do you need!

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

You know what?
This book is so well written!

I can feel all the emotions the main character was experiencing while I was reading the book. First, the cover! It got me interested and then the blurb actually got me excited because it talks about the story of a woman who is working with excellence in a male dominated field. And heck, the writing and the plot accurately reflects that.

The writing is refreshing. Even if you feel the story is something familiar from our real life experiences, this book brings up a better clear view of someone experiencing it on a personal level. Believe me it's quite thrilling to read such a realistic read and that too as a thriller fiction.

All the chaos and all the egoistic characters, she does go through a lot. However, I am quite satisfied with how the story ended.

A fun, thrilling read which I read in one sitting, a book I started reading once I got it. Yes, it's worth it.

Thank you, Dos Perro Press, for the advance reading copy.
