I love a good thriller/crime novel and Robert Bryndza does not disappoint!

I have never had the pleasure of reading a novel by him before but will definitely seem to pick up another soon!

Erika is a police detective who lost her husband in the line of duty, she’s finally purchased a home and is slowly adjusting when one night as she’s walking home she hears a scream.

This scream literally turns her world on her ear and begins a long grueling search for a murderer.

The twists and turns in this book kept me on my toes and determined to keep reading to find out what could possibly happen next.

The ending of this book was extremely unexpected and gives the answers to every question that pops up along the way.

I highly recommend this book!

Detective Erika Foster is on a walk near her new house when she stumbles across a murder, of a crime podcaster. As Erika and her team investigate, they find that Vicky was close to unmasking a sexual predator stalking young victims at their halls of residence - was this why she was killed? Then another body is found and things take a shocking turn. Can they find the killer before they strike again?

Another brilliant entry to the Erika Foster series, I just love this series! The plot of this one was great as usual - thrilling, tense and exciting, full of twists and turns. It is also great to see how the lives of Erika and her team are going. Brilliant!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of the book in return for my honest feedback.

After 4 long years, Erika Foster is back!

Erika is one of my favourite fictional characters ever. She can be stubborn and impatient but she is also bold and fierce, and nothing can stop her from catching the bad guys. In Fatal Witness, Erika moves to a new house in Blackheath and on her first night, she hears a scream while walking home from a local chip shop. There's a dead body of a young woman who is a true crime podcaster. However all of the victim's recordings are missing which suggests that Vicky might have been close to discovering the culprit in her latest podcast investigation. As Erika and her team start to dig around, things get more and more complicated and nothing is as it seemed at the start.

It was great having Erika and her team back. This is a tangled case which I of course enjoyed. I was also glad to see a new man on the scene!

Many thanks to the publisher for my review copy in exchange for an honest review.

I’m a big fan of Robert Brenda and have read all the books in the Erika Foster series (and the Kate Marshall series as well). It was a long wait for this book, but the wait was definitely worth it! The plot is amazing, the twists are thrilling and full of suspense. I love Erika’s character and just wish some of the other characters like Moss and Peterson were given more space in the book and Erika’s interaction with them developed a bit more. But overall a superb book and definitely recommended. I am now looking forward to the next book in the series!
Thank you Raven Street Publishing for an advanced copy of this ebook and giving me a chance to review this book!

As always, Robert Bryndza’s books are page-turning, twisty thrillers and this one was no different. I read it in a day, once I started I couldn’t stop. Erika Foster is a great main character and I love catching up with her and her team.

I really enjoyed reading this book.it was like putting on my favourite shorts after putting them away for the winter, and finally the sun is shining and I can go out in them again. Sorry to be a bit whimsical, but I really missed Erika, and her team, and it was lovely to be reunited. The story was great, and kept me guessing, and the pace of the book was good. I love the short chapters, they work for me, and keep me wanting to read just another one, and then one more. Loved it, very good read.

Wow! Another sure fire winner for Robert. How does he keep thinking up these wonderful story lines? But I’m glad he does. Poor old Erika in the wars again. The clues point us one way and then a sneaky clue takes us in another direction. I love the way her friends and family had come together and Isaac approves of Igor who’d taken his shirt off to do some painting! Erika deserves some happiness at last. I couldn’t put it down. Loved every minute of it

Bryndza at his best. Having had a break from Erika Foster. She returns in dramatic fashion. Bryndza's writing style keeps you guessing until the last 50 pages and then it's all about pinning the murderer down. Absolute page Turner. I challenge any crime fan not to enjoy the ongoing life and career of erika Foster.

Another brilliant book from Robert Bryndza he never disappoints. The pace never slackens from the first page to the last. Erika Foster is a great character and is so believable I was really worried about her getting her Argos delivery. I have read all of Roberts books he just gets better and better.

Erika Foster is back after a break for the Katherine Marshall series. Definitely worth waiting for. A gruesome crime within the first few pages, no evidence and an intriguing twist. You just know you are in for a great read. An excellent police procedural thriller with a good plot, terrific writing and brilliant characters. It has everything. A real page turner.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this eARC.

I thought this book started off so very well and I was immediately drawn in. What an opening chapter to capture a readers attention! This is a very well written and entertaining book that I thoroughly enjoyed. It had everything I liked - a great plot line, mostly likeable characters who you just take to heart and root for and lots of twists to keep you guessing. I loved being back in the world of DCI Foster and following Erika and her team as they investigate the murder of Vicky Clarke, a podcaster. But is all as it seems? Read and find out. This is a great read, full of tension and suspense that just builds up and up, and races to an ending that I did not expect. An excellent addition to an already very good series. Erika Foster fans will really enjoy this book and whilst I thought it can be read on it’s own, if you’re new to this series I’d recommend you start with the first book The a Girl in the Ice and read in correct order. Just loved this read.

I read this book in a day as couldn't put it down, I , i really like Erika's character and I loved the fact this book we get to see her more personally and hopefully the start of a romance! As always lots of twists and turns when a young girl is murdered who doesn't appear to be who they believe she is, each time they get close to thinking they know who murdered her another twist in the story
Gripping from start to finish

Another great novel by Robert Bryndza - well written as always and another excellent storyline. Erika and her team take on a sexual predator. The novel is full of twists and turns and finding the predator proves difficult as false leads and dubious people hinder the investigation. Highly recommended novel to all mystery, thriller readers and deserves a very well earnt five (5) stars.

Fatal witness is the seventh book in the Erika Foster series, and I am so glad she is back. I missed the stories involving her and her team Erica, Moss and Peterson.
When Erika is walking home to her new home in Blackheath, she hears a scream coming from a nearby apartment block. When she goes to investigate, she finds the mutilated body of True crime podcaster Vicky Clarke who was investigating cases of a sexual predator who attacks their victims by breaking into the nearby student halls of residences and attacking the female students. Is this why Vicky was killed. But when the body is officially identified they realise that this is not Vicky. Who is this woman and what is she doing in Vicky’s flat? Did the killer kill the wrong person if so, where is Vicky and Erika needs to find her before she is killed? The race is on.
Thank you, Raven Street Publishing, for a copy of Fatal Witness by Robert Bryndza and thank you for bringing Erika back. I love this series. This is another fabulous episode in the series. It is and exciting read from page one. Lots of twists and turns and great characters. I also liked how the author gave more of Erika’s personal life, with her Slovak family and a start to a blossoming relationship. Maybe she will get her happy ending at last. 5 stars from me.

When DCI Erika Foster hears a scream as she is walking back to her newly purchased house on Blackheath. Her team are then called to investigate the death of a woman stabbed in a flat and identified by the woman's sister things get very complicated especially as the woman killed is not who they think she is.. Erika has all the problems of just moving with no heating no furniture etc on top of a murder that seems to get more complicated the more they investigate.
This is another brilliant book in the Erika Foster series and I hope there are more to follow. You will find it hard to put this book down as it is definately a page turner. Loved it.

This is the first book by Robert Bryndza that I have read. Annoyingly it means I now have to get his back catalogue of titles and read all of them. His writing makes you live every minute of the crime and subsequent police work involved to get the killer brought to justice. His character of Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster is a perfect character for him. Set in London and with a trip up to Scotland he gets you wanting to finish the book in one sitting. Thoroughly enjoyable for crime fans.

Robert Bryndza congratulations on another great book in this series Fatal Witness brings us Detective Erica Foster and her team of police officers, Erica has just moved into a rundown house, she is walking home when she hears a blood curdling scream, she discovers a body thinking victim is Vicky Clarke who is a true crime podcaster, but this is not Vicky but her neighbour, ( no more spoilers )
This book is a real page turner that I never wanted to end but am sure we will see Erica Foster in more books fans can only hope
