Holy crap, this book was such an insane wave of nostalgia for me. This was one of my favorite Wattpad reads growing up, and I'm so glad that Wattpad picked it up to publish it. The Wattpad version holds a special place in my heart, and I found that the new parts that weren't previously on Wattpad definitely helped more with the characterization of Sienna and Kayden.

REVIEW

Perfect Illusion was one of my favourite Wattpad reads, and I totally loved Alex and Daniel’s story. Perfect Addiction was a great 4-star read. Right off the bat, we get to see how Sienna’s ex was cheating on her, and it just made it easier for me to get into the book. I finished Perfect Addiction in one sitting.

Kayden is such a sweetheart grumpy guy, and Sienna is such a perfect grumpy badass girl, and I am in love with them both. They are both so right for each other, and the tension between them was just so amazing.

The book didn’t hit the 5 stars because it would have been better if the romance had been a little slow-burn. It was a little too fast-falling, love at first sight for me, but it still hit most of the marks perfectly. Another thing I did not like about the book was maybe the ending. I loved some aspects of it and did not like some aspects of it.
I am excited to read the rest of the series.

I have been obsessed with this book since I found it on Wattpad in 2015 I always go back to these characters whenever I’m in a slump or I just need my dose of Kayden “Killer” Williams. But after reading this version was way different honestly story sensational the way that miss Claudia gave use more spicy scenes. If you read the book on Wattpad then y’all she gave us the shower scene between Sienna and Kayden! I was screaming I thought it was gonna fade to black..no she said I’m going to feed you and she did.

I loved that she gave us more scenes between Kayden and Sienna that you didn’t get in the Wattpad version and I honestly feel like the story flowed better and was on a continuous flow from start to finish did I miss Sienna choking Evans… yes but she gave us more scenes with the Williams family and I shed a tear.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC! This is a 3.7-4/5 for me, but rounded up to a 4 because of how much I loved it in comparison to other romance books. Sienna is a strong character who has her own thoughts, motivations, and is also vulnerable alongside her strength. While I rolled my eyes a bit at some of the fast romance plots and the “I live only for you” stated at some point, this book didn’t get into melodramatics nearly as much as I thought it would and it’s actually felt really grounded at times as well. I found myself really caring about Sienna in particular, but I also really enjoyed the side characters and of course, Kayden. I’m actually a bit disappointed this is the second book in the series and that they all seem (?) to be one-offs, because I’d love to read more about these characters.
