What a great start to a new series. This was a story of resiliency, family, friendship, love and hope that will keep you entertained from the first to last page! I loved all the characters and how they supported each other, and especially enjoyed the romance that developed between Ryder and Corliss. It was obvious they have loved each other a long time. Which made it so much more bitter sweet when they got together. I can not wait to read the rest of the series.

WYOMING PROMISE is the story of Corliss Blackwell who, with her grandma, runs the Flying Spur Ranch. The ranch is hurting for funds and against her grandmother’s wishes, she is going to talk to Big E. He is her grandmother’s brother and they haven’t spoken in over forty years. Denny, the grandma is absolutely forbidding Corliss to go to Big E. but what other choice does she have? While this is going on, Ryder, the widower firefighter, is back in town, having been injured on his oil rig job. All he wants is some stability for his daughter. He decides to go with Corliss to Montana to help her convince Big E. help his family out. They come up with a fake engagement on the way! Hold on people, it’s going to be a very bumpy but funny ride!

WYOMING PROMISE is the first book in The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series. All of the books are written by different authors and I am so excited its the beginning of this heart warming series. They can all be read as stand alones. This will introduce you to the Wyoming branch of the infamous Blackwells. Anna J Stewart writes about characters that become real right before your eyes. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. WYOMING PROMISE is a heart tugging and wonderful tale and I loved it. I loved how Ryder was very protective of Corliss but hated that he didn’t think they could have a relationship. He cared for her but couldn’t love her. Confused? Read the story, you will not regret it! I soon found myself cheering for Corliss and Ryder every time I turned the page.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading WYOMING PROMISE. It is funny and heart warming and filled with so many different emotions. There is so much going on in this story, but Anna J Stewart does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. All of the characters will have you feeling sad and then giggling on the same page. More than once I wanted to be on that ranch with all of these awesome and loving people! The ending was perfect and had me laughing out loud! Once you finish devouring this story, you will find yourself with a huge lump in your throat and tears in your eyes!

This is a Clean Cowboy Friends to Lovers/Fake Dating Romance, and this is the first book in the The Blackwells of Eagle Springs series. This is a great start to a new series, and this book has me wanting to keep going with this series. I loved the characters in this book. This book lets you really get to know the characters, and it also has enough going on to have you want to keep reading. I really enjoyed reading this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Heartwarming) or author (Anna J. Stewart) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. Wyoming Promise by Anna J. Stewart is the first book in the Harlequin continuity series, The Blackwells of Eagle Springs. This book is a great opening salvo in this third Blackwell series. I've enjoyed the first two series and this is setting up to be another entertaining one. I am a fan of Big E and it's been fun to get to spend time with him again. Big E and his trusty motor home! The two main characters, Corliss Blackwell and Ryder Talbot are very likable and the children, Mason and Olivia are too. I liked the setup of someone out to get the Eagle Springs Blackwells. I am looking forward to reading about how this subplot is continued in the following books in the series. Next up is A Wyoming Secret Proposal by Amy Vastine.
