In a world of conformity, two lovers learn it’s okay to be different. Elle never imagined being demon-possessed would lead to love. She used to live a quiet life but once she gave permission for a sex demon, Key, to possess her, her life turns upside down. She meets handsome Enrique, and they hook up. Before she realizes it, she’s fallen in love. They attend a support group for the possessed and it helps her to deal with the hatred she encounters. But society doesn’t want them together and will do anything to keep her and Enrique apart. Can Elle and Enrique hold onto each other and their love or will the forces surrounding them keep them apart?

Riftsiders: Unlawful Possession is one of the most original paranormal romances I’ve ever read. I know, you’re thinking I’ve been hit over the head, but stay with me for a minute. I’m a huge paranormal romance reader and have probably read over 10,000 PNRs over the years. Riftsiders: Unlawful Possession takes the paranormal romance genre and puts it through the spin cycle. Our hero and heroine are both possessed yet they have an amicable relationship with Taz and Key. Possession is usually scary, like head doing a 180 or 360 like of horror, but not in this book. There’s a clear message in Riftsiders: Unlawful Possession and I quite liked it. The plot moves at a nice even pace with a full cast of characters, plenty of paranormal fun, an unexpected romance, and tongue-in-cheek humor. The descriptive narration is detailed which allows the reader to live through the main characters. The writing is original and comes across as if it is written by a seasoned pro. I allowed myself to escape into Riftsiders: Unlawful Possession and it was a gratifying experience. I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommend!
