This was an unconventional story, set on a pretty coastal background, filled with magical realism. It was a quick read, very entertaining, and that left me with a smile on my face. I enjoyed it but I do with there was a bit more depth to the whole story.

Phillip is a predictable man with a predictable life, and has not had an easy year. Then he finds a mermaid near his boat and the rest of the story unfolds.

This was an interesting book. I enjoyed reading it and found that it was the perfect length for the plot. I also enjoyed the element of fantasy in an otherwise realistic novel. I wish however that the whole premise of reincarnation was a bit more developed, I felt that it was touched upon and then the book ended. Overall though, I really enjoyed it.

I didnt like it. No me llamó para nada la atención y DIOS que se hizo aburridísimo.
Siento que no le daría una segunda oportunidad.

This is my first Keith Yocum book and I enjoyed it! This was very easy to get into- also relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone who is in a reading slump and needs a straight forward story!

I like how this plot was different from others- It was very funny and the magical realism was really a nice touch!

BEST YOU is an enjoyable read. The story is unique, and the characters are compelling.

I found it to be a fun, escapist story.

Firstly, I would like to start with a thank you to the publisher and to Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book as an eARC.

This was actually a really cute book which was a very easy short read, I feel like the remain characters were persistent and the pacing was good the romance also didn't feel instlovy which is what I was expecting from a shorter length book but it all just fell into place for a beautiful book overall. I think that this shows that love can be lifelong and truthful even if you only know that person a short amount of time if you both connect and accept the person for who they are without judgement. I think the main male lead touched on a few things about how his ex didn't like this or this about him but soph didn't have those issues and they fell into an easy but sometimes surprising fun cohesive unit and it was sweet he waited for her all that time the ending was sad but beautiful.

Such an odd premise…and I absolutely loved it. Neat story about Phillip and encounters with a soul mate. The story shouldn’t work. They shouldn’t either. And it absolutely does.

Confusing, repetitive, and not that entertaining.
This book could've made a good short story, but as a short ,though full-length novel I didn't enjoy it.
There is no real storyline for a full book, there is no time to develop characters and it's not funny in the way that these scenes should be.
I was rather disappointed, though I did finish it rather quickly, hoping there would be a sudden change or twist of events. Nothing.
