Cute, but fell short of Guillory's usual standard. I could gave gone with a bit less steamy stuff and a bit more witty conversation, because I think she's great at that, but she totally delivered on making me want snacks through pretty much the whole book.

I loved the Napa setting, but overall I was underwhelmed by this one. Something about the writing didn't gel for me, and I've read and enjoyed all of Guillory's previous works. I think I'd be more into Eliot's story that's hinted at.

Jasmine Guillory never disappoints! From her delicious and fun descriptions of what her characters are eating and wearing to the complexity of their emotional lives and relationships. Add in Napa Valley as a setting and this book has it all!

Jasmine Guillory has become an auto-buy romance author for me, and I was beyond excited to learn that she was writing another novel (whether set in her existing book universe or not), which Drunk on Love fully matched my expectations. It's told in such a relatable first-person point of view, back and forth between eventual love interests Margot and Luke, that fully drew me into its compelling prose.

While, yes, Drunk on Love does exist in Guillory's preexisting literary universe, it does feel like a standalone entity with a teensy cameo from a few beloved, post-HEA favorites. Like, Margot and Luke's story is very distinctly their own and exists on its own instead of being a sequel or so-and-so's sibling, which I enjoyed. Through, the callout the Guillory MC's past was super fun and cute as, like, an aside that doesn't take away from Margot and Luke's moment.

All in all, it's just fun, cute and so enjoyable which made it all the easier to get sucked into this one. Plus, that epilogue! Seriously, it was so cute and sweet and I just wanted, like, 10 more pages of that HEA bliss!

I am a big Jasmine Guillory fan and I have high expecations going into her novels. WIth that being said, this one fell a little flat for me. The signature style of Jasmine's writing and relationship development was there in the beginning but the spice and chemistry was lost the more the book went on. The last 1/3 revolved around a miscommunication trope which I found to be very frustrating. I would still recommend this to Jasmine Guillory fans because she can do no wrong, but this is my least favorite of hers.

A lighthearted, seductive love story at work place ; and guess what ? That dreamy workspace I would work for free without hesitation is a WINERY! Who could say no to likable main characters with fiery chemistry and a book about wines! Let’s not forget this book is written by Jasmine Guillory! Sold!

Margot Noble inherited family winery with her brother from their uncle! Both siblings have different ideas how to conduct the business. Margot knows the importance of marketing, planning a big launching party to attract more attention as her brother has more traditional perspective to run the place.

Margot is so tired, stressful for juggling many things at the same time, dealing with brooding brother. Only thing she wants is hanging at her best friend Sydney’s bar at an eventful Sunday night. But everything changes when a very attractive man wearing a tech company’s hoodie walks in and chooses the tool next to her to sit in. Margot meets with a little younger, smart, charming Luke. They have an imminent connection and they didn’t plan to end their night at Luke’s place. But they did. It was memorable night.

Their morning is more memorable! After Luke drives Margot to her house, asking her number, they meet again: Luke is the new wine taster Margot’s brother hired! Oops!

Of course two of them get panicked. Luke even offers to quit but Margot is so sure they can be civil enough moving on, forgetting that magical night they’ve spent together. But their attraction is still there! Margot is afraid of getting caught by her brother who is already unfairly critiquing her work ethics.

On the other hand Luke couldn’t tell his mother why he left his job at tech company in Silicon Valley and his mother thinks he’s dating with his best friend Avery as he still has eyes on his boss.

Could two overcome the obstacles to be together? Let’s read and find out!

Overall: quick feelgood read I absolutely need! Highly recommend to the author’s greatest fans!

This was my first time reading a Jasmine Guillory book. I've been wanting to for ages but her series intimidated me a little because it's so long. Now I'm super excited to read those though, because this was so great!

I think this would make for an amazing movie, because the setting is just so much fun. And the story itself just hit all the right spots for me, it was thoroughly enjoyable and I couldn't put it down.

I have read several Jasmine Guillory books and this one wasn’t my favourite. I really enjoyed the setting but felt it was missing something.

This was such a delightful romance! Jasmine Guillory never disappoints - she always has such quality writing and plots with well fleshed out and diverse characters. I was so in love with Luke, and Margot was such a badass. I think I am always drawn to Guillory's books because as a black woman I feel like she writes incredibly powerful and relatable characters. This will easily become a go-to recommendation for me this fall once it hits the shelves.

If Elliot doesn't get a story, I will be so disappointed. That being said, this was a fun read! It wasn't my favorite Jasmine Guillory book, but the characters were fun, the romance was sweet, and of course, the friends are spectacular!
