I have read many Katee Robert books and for me they are hit or miss. I did not do my research with her work to realize this was a bindup of three books she has previously written.

This is a MMMF Paranormal Romance about the daughter of a high powered Vampire who sends her off to be with and make babies with another high powered Vampire. Making bloodlines continue etc. Mina does not want to be there and hates the vampire because of how her father treated her and then suddenly we are thrown into it being mmmf and all the drama the book has.

The first 50% of this book was very good, a fun smutty vampire time. As it went on it fell and fell hard. I gave up caring about the major plot of this. After a certain point it really did not matter what they did, the stakes felt very low when they should have been high.

Wolf is the best character. I think Malachi was supossed to be the main man of the group, but we all know it is Wolf. Wolf feels like the glue to this MMMF romance that Malachi was supposed to be.

The epilogue completely shocked me because there was a character in this book that I did not make a connection with their name so a lot of things came together and made so much sense. That was my fault for really not making the connection during the book when it was slapping me in the face.

Ooohhh I love me some vampires! And this book has not 1, not 2, but 3!! THREE SEXY VAMPIRES! We start with one, then move into a threesome and eventually into a foursome and damn. Just damn. If you're into reverse harem, this one's for you!

Mina is a dhampir, so half-vampire half-human, and she's been sent by her father to Malachi to basically be a blood bag/sexual servant. We get off on a sexy note right from the beginning and we never really look back! Yes, there is a plot. And it's actually a decent plot! But if you came for the sex, you won't be disappointed.

Our three vamps each have their own personality and I grew to love every one of them in their own way. They all brought a different perspective, and it made everything that much better.

Could the plot have been fleshed out a bit more? Sure. Did I really care all that much because I was getting all of the steamy scenes my heart could imagine? Nope! Not a bit lol!

Overall, it really was a decent read. I liked the characters, I liked the storyline, I liked the sex. It's a fun read! Dive in, you won't be disappointed if you know what you're getting into!

I honestly love this author, and this collection was no exception. Her writing is clear and concise, the images jump from the pages into a vibrant movie inside my head without effort. The story made sense and was enjoyable to read.

I greatly enjoyed this polyamorous vampire tale. This book is extremely steamy and erotic. If you are not looking to some serious hot sexual encounters mixed into the plot line, then this book is not for you. This story begins with Mina gifting her to Malachi Zion. I powerful vampire who is currently trapped in his abode. She has always wanted to escape her father's control and this is just his latest transgression. She is half human, half vampire and because of this and her lack of a gift her father feels she has no value.

Malachi is a domineering and dark character. Though, through their interactions, she begins to care for him. Then they open up their relationship to two of his closest friends. The story has a bit of intrigue and has the group battling against Mina's family. It was a quick read that I would recommend to people who are okay with a hot read.

I love Katee Robert. Some books I love more than others of hers, but I never hate a book she writes, and that stays true with this book. There's lots of graphic steam (as per usual with her works) while still having an interesting plot motivating the book. The characters are well written and diverse, and of course this work is perfect for those who love spooky season and like their reads to correlate with the seasons.

I think this book is great for people that want the “no plot, just vibes” type of reading experience. It does tend to get a little repetitive since there is mostly just smut (very good smut I should note). I think it only feels repetitive because it is a big book and there’s only one real conflict (that they constantly talk about) and it takes them forever to come to a solution, so it does get to a point where you are begging the characters to just progress. Overall I still enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Did I get confused and think this was a YA book when I downloaded it? Yes. Was I delightfully surprised when it was not a YA book? Also yes! This book is a perfect palate-cleanser paranormal romance book. It felt ridiculous at times, but in the best way. I stayed up way later than I should've two nights in a row trying to get through this book as fast as possible. It almost felt like one of those serial books you'd find on those commonly advertised apps, with a bonkers storyline that also made sense and sucked you in. I don't know how or where I'll recommend this book to anyone, but it's now my mission to do so!

Blazing, scorching, sultry, sizzling . . . Just plain HAWT!!

Had to turn to the thesaurus to find enough descriptive words to explain this book and I still don't think I found the right words. It's a story within told around a passionate embrace while listening to punk rock song. You get that restless feeling to move around to an unexpected beat. Dripping with a blend of sensuality and the occult, it's a story that will keep you on your toes. Every time I thought I had this plot 📌 'd down, some tantalizing twist would turn everything on its' head.

What starts out as a story about a half-breed dhampir being given as a sacrificial meal to a half-crazy and starved vampire, quickly turns into something of a much more carnal nature 😘. With a desire for freedom and for a different future, their shared hate soon drives them to seek something they never thought would be within their grasp.

Mina thought it was only her that was a victim, a captive within the large crumbling castle, and an unwilling participant to father's cruel machinations; but when she finally allows the fires of anger to cool, she sees that there is more to this ancient vampire that she has been given to. No matter how she fights it, the line between her anger at this situation and the burning desire she feels for Malachi is quickly becoming smaller and smaller. But things are never easy for someone like her.

Malachi senses something special about his new little morsel; something that has him wanting more, more than these decaying halls and unseen bars. For the first time in a long time, he finds himself with the will to fight and the desire for freedom and the craving for . . . Mina. Now if only he can get her on the same page and her father or of the picture.

With a story that seems to be just a simple enemy-to-lovers trope takes a tantalizing twist when Malachi and friends unleash a passion that set the pages on ablaze 🔥 and send the reader once again on a while new journey in a direction that almost feels like a new book as they fight for the right to love and live as they endure and learn what it means to become truly free for the first time and in a relationship. All around, it felt like an epic story was told within these pages. Hopefully with some spin-offs coming (Lizzy Girl, I'm talking about you😜) because I'm just not done fan-girling with this world or this characters yet.

** Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to review this advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion **

Ok, so this was not a perfect book. Mainly because some passages seem disconnected, due to the fact that these were 3 novellas joined in one book, and it needed more editing to become smoother.
The plot is very thin, but it is there. And it actually is well thought of, and the ending hints to a new book to come.

And then there was sex. Lots of it. In many, many variations. But it was kind of fun, and hot and made me enjoy this book. In my head it makes sense the immortal beings try everything under the sun, otherwise eternity would be very boring indeed. If this sounds like your thing, proceed with no caution.

I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this book…..at the beginning. I love my smut, don’t get me wrong, but by about 150 pages in I was skim reading through the spicy scenes for the plot points. The smut and plot are intertwined (necessarily), but I just felt a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of smut in here. I couldn’t catch my breath! Katee Robert is the Queen of writing good smut and I will be rereading some of the scenes; However, I wanted to get to the conclusion of the story! I was dying to know how they were going to do what needed to be done, so I skimmed through to those parts. I did like the Azazel (a Deal with a Demon) series tie-in. Overall, this was a decent novel with an interesting plot, but a slightly overwhelming amount of smut.

This book was all the things I enjoy about Katee's writing plus more. Extra spicy & spooky. Perfect for an October read, I really enjoyed it.

I said it before, and I will say it again if you like books where the Smut is the plot, Court of the Vampire Queen is for you!

Is the Smut the only plot? No, but it was a lot of it. I loved it and the characters. Mina was an unexpected delight. She was snarky and brave, and I enjoyed her. Malachi got better and better as the book went on. He was gentle but also rough around the edges. Wolf was the stereotypical charming one. He was not as buttoned up as the other two, and I enjoyed that fun element. Rylan was my favorite, He took some time to warm up, but once he got there, he was in it.

This was quite a wild ride. It was an action and steam-packed ride. I would have liked a little more backstory between the guys. Their past was hinted at, and we got some, but I would have liked a little more on that. I thought there was a decent explanation of how the vampire world worked, and I appreciated that.

This book was a fun, enjoyable read.

A classic Katee Robert story. There is something about her writing that draws me in regardless of the plot. The story was sexy, fast paced, and intriguing all at the same time. For KR readers, I would rank this as above Neon Gods but not quite as good as Learn My Lesson

These were fun spicy vampire stories and I am not mad. I do wish they ran together a little more. But they accomplished what they were made to do.

I really enjoyed this one. I have read other books from this author. Such a talented author! This book is mostly smut rather than plot. It is very fast paced. From the very beginning its has you on the edge of your seat. Mina is a dhampir (human/vampire & her father gives her to various other vampires for strength. A vampire named Malachi & others try to find a way to break her bond and kill her father so she can inherit the kingdom.

Loved this! Mina was awesome. Loved her coming into her powers. I haven't read many reverse harems, but this was my favorite so far. I love Rylan!!! Malachi is also really cute. I linked my Goodreads review.

3/5 Stars

Look to be clear I went into this book expecting a lot of smut (it ain’t my first Katee Robert Rodeo) but man was there a lot of smut. Almost every other page had sexy times so to speak. And to be clear this wasn’t a problem per say but the lack of plot going along with the smut was the issue. There wasn’t actually a lot of plot going on between the sex and this made the book feel really repetitive at times. We kept getting recap of information that had happened in the beginning but since no additional plot had occurred there really wasn’t a need for it. The parts almost felt like three short stories that were put together for the purposes of making a book and it definitely affected the reading.

That being said this book I also finished this in a day so saying it hooked me was an understatement. The sex scenes, while aplenty, were well written and very steamy so I really only deducted points because of the lack of plot.

Thank you to Netgalley and Katee Robert for the chance to read Court of the Vampire Queen for an honest review!

First off, the spice. It was EVERYTHING. The story, even better. This was my first book by Katee Robert and she absolutely did NOT disappoint. This story follows Mina, a half vampire, half seraph, and her lovers, Malachai, Wolf, and Rylan. She starts off as basically a brood mare for procreation with Malachai to further extend his bloodline because he is from one of the seven original born vampires, and his element is fire. But almost instantly she realizes that he isn't just interested in impregnating her and feeding on her until she was dead.

Mina soon comes to realize that Malachai cares for her as more then just a ticket out of his imprisonment, then along comes Wolf and Rylan. Both of whom who have long histories with Malachai. After some very interesting love making the four realize they have all become bonded through the power Mina has yet to embrace.

It's time to be free for Mina. She no longer wants to live under her fathers rule and wants her men to be free of his control. She sets herself on a mission to take over her fathers compound and become the new leader to his coven. The journey this group embarks on pulls you in from the very beginning and I can't wait to get my hands on more books by Ms. Robert. She has just become one of my auto buy authors !

I don't know what crack Katee Robert injected into this book, but it had me FLOORED with how much smut can be in a book. By far this is the smuttiest book I have ever read. I didn't know whether to love it or hate it, but in the end it gets a 2 star review from me only because there was just no plot. Every chapter there was sex and maybe half a page of the plot happening in the shadows of all the smut.

I love Roberts Neon Gods series, but even that has more plot than this story has.

I’m typical Katee Robert fashion this book is steamy as heck and I loved that as I do with most of her books. While I’m not the biggest fan of the vampire aspect (which is really a lot of what the book revolves around) it was still enjoyable. A bit long for my liking, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.
