This book was so sweet, funny and romantic, it is uplifting, heartwarming and like a big hug in book form. I also adored the animals in this book as well as the human character too. Don't miss this one if you like a rom com, chick lit read.

This book had a great premise for a nice easy beach read but unfortunately it just didn't seem to hit its stride.

I didn't mind the two main characters, Charley and Pam, although ended up enjoying Pam's POV a bit more closer to the end as Charley's development just felt stilted and drawn out just to pad out the rest of the story. I love a third person dual POV however at times other side characters would suddenly get a surprise narration and it really upset the flow of the book for me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A quick, easy and cute read that was both heart-warming and heart-wrenching in equal measure. Well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters. I really enjoyed it.

Her characters are strong leads, who have been through some rough thing's.
Charley and Pam trying to get through there new lives. I loved their friendship.
I felt the story was full of emotions. I was happy to see the truly their for each other.
A touching read about friends, grief, moving forward, discovering an unbreakable bond, and finding true happiness again.
Very written well, Lester held my attention and had me glued to my Kindle.
An uplifting story about life and love after heartbreak.
