A quick and easy read about a woman who was raised by a witch but realizes that she is in danger once she dies. It is while she is running for her life from the man who is her father that she meets the man who is her mate.

Another great read by Ms. Walters. This is the story of Aaron and Jesse. Jesse is running away from family problems that are literally chasing her and ends up meeting Aaron. The story progresses as they both find a way to stop the danger that is coming for her, all the while developing feelings for each other. Aaron is more aware of the situation between them than Jesse, especially after what she has been through. Great story!

This another suspenseful romance in the series. This story follows Aaron (he is the son of Jacque and Gwen) and Jesse (related to Gator). The story was so good. At first I was trying to get engaged but once i got in the drama and romance i was hooked. I always like N.J. Walters books you can’t go wrong with any of them.

This is part of a second generation series for the Salvation Pack of North Carolina. Aaron is trying to find his purpose and role within the pack by living outside of the bounds of the group for a while. He runs into Jessie at a bar as she is on the run from her father and his pack. Aaron pretty quickly realizes that she is his mate and that he will do pretty much anything to keep her safe - even if it means taking her home and having the danger follow her there.

Jessie and Aaron are really sweet together and as a fated-mates, shifter book goes - there romance really is very believable and relatable even with it happening on fast forward. You do not need to have read the original series or any other books in this series to understand what is going on or to enjoy this book. It will help you understand why the Salvation Pack is different - but it definitely isn't needed! Overall - this is a fun shifter book with just the right amount of emotion, sexy times, and adventure.

I received this via NetGalley as an ARC, but these opinions are all my own.

ARC received for review

How did I miss books 2 & 3? No worries I wasn't lost, but I sure do want to go find them.

Great book for the series, and new way to meet your mate. Plus she was raised in a different way. Loved seeing all the previous series peeps again.

As a newbie in thevSalvation Pack series, I found that I had some trouble with getting up to date with all the pack dynamics. Especially, since both Jesse and Aaron have grown up are outcasts in their packs. However, NJ Walters will keep you on the edge of your seat, while you are wondering how the story will unfold. And just if you think you got it all figured out, the story will take an unexpected turn. As usual, a wonderful story on love, courage and family ties. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I devoured this book on one sitting! We know I've been on a Paranormal Romance binge since the start of this year after the introduction of IPB into my life and this book just perfectly fit into that binge.

Aaron is such a big softy for Jessie, and he truly would do anything to protect her - while also being a violent shifter that can change shape any time he needs.

Jessie, damn this girl climbed into my heart and made a bed there. I feel for her, being forced to do things she never wanted to do in order to survive. Her needs and comforts always take a backseat, but not with Aaron. With him she always comes first and she 110% deserves it.

I was shocked to discover how invested I became in this story and these characters. When the climax came I was at the edge of my seat, waiting for everything to work out.

The twists this plot took, was also unexpected, but fit perfectly and I wouldn't change a thing. The pacing was perfect and what you expect from this story and I'm truly surprised with how much happened without the various storylines feeling rushed.

The side characters are a bunch of fun, while the world-building and magic system is were extremely interestingly done.

Really, there was so much heart in this book and I can't wait for more!

I really enioyed this. It was different than some of the other shifter books I have been reading. Definitely would recommend this if you like shifter romances. The MC is runing from her sperm donor and that is when she meets her mate.

There's absolutely nothing like a good shifter/werewolf romance. Wolf Meets His Fate has everything you know and love about paranormal romances: alpha male, mates, found family, and a little bit of danger and magic. I absolutely loved how Aaron let Jesse make her own decisions. We love an alpha male who also respects his mate enough to ask for consent. It was a beautiful book!

While this book is part of a series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone and completely understand everything that happens in it! Jesse was raised in the Louisiana swamps by the local witch, Lottie. Her mother gave her life to bring her there and keep her safe from her father. She is hated by her father and not a part of the pack that she should have been due to the circumstances of her birth. And when Lottie passes away, she is forced to leave what she knows and run. Aaron has left his pack and family and is staying in West Virginia just trying to figure out what he should be doing with his life. And when he crosses paths with Jesse in a bar, he knows that she needs help. But he quickly realizes that she is fate-his mate. Jesse has learned to distrust male wolves, but Aaron is stubborn and not willing to give up on the one woman who could make his life worth living. And when the danger that follows her comes calling, he will do anything and everything to keep her safe.

I really liked this book! Jesse has never truly been safe and she has a lot of issues just because of her birth and parentage. But I loved that Lottie showed her care and didn't treat her like a hated responsibility. And not only that but she did what she could to provide her with protection even after she was gone. Jesse has this strength and will to survive that you can't help but love, but she also has this huge capacity for caring about people. Aaron was definitely struggling in the beginning of this book. But the way he treats Jesse, even before he knows she is his mate showed just how good of a man he is. They have this instant chemistry that I liked along with the fact that they are truly compatible. It's not just about lust and such, there is more to everything that just that. My only drawback, I wish there had been a little more to the dealing with the bad guys. I almost felt like it was anticlimactic, but that was my only drawback!

I am really enjoying this author's shifter books. This one is good too. Orphan Jesse is raised in the swamp by a notorious witch. She is forced to run for her life when the witch Lottie dies because her father wants her dead. She was protected as long as Lottie was alive. She runs into Aaron who realizes that she is his mate. Aaron is a great book boyfriend. Protective and sweet. Jesse has to learn to trust Aaron and accept his help and his love is she wants a future. Great plot and very nice romance.

Wolf Meets His Fate
by N.J. Walters

Jesse is running from her father who is hunting her to kill She has been hidden from him all her life when her mother died trying to keep her safe as she was born. She was raised by Lottie an old powerful witch and feared by all but Lottie is now dead and her days are now numbered until she meets Aaron. He is trying to decide what to do with his life.

There are quite a few unexpected twist in the fast moving story.

A good quick page turner to draw you in on a lazy day.

This had the potential to be good. The writing was really good, but the story felt undeveloped and cringey. It all just happened too fast. You meet someone, and by the next day you fall into bed with them, and then you're in love. I understand the concept of mating, but I feel like the romance could have been built out more. The instant love connection and trust didn't make sense for someone running for their life not knowing who to trust. The emotions of the characters were too much for the plot.

Another exciting visit to Salvation…

From the heart-pumping moments that started this story I knew it was going to be another emotion-packed read. Jesse’s beginning was anything but ordinary and the life that followed was the same. When Aaron met her, he wanted to protect her. And keep her…

Jesse lived the meaning of an independent and, unfortunately, a lonely life. When the only person she called family was gone, she was on her own in all ways. And didn’t see that changing. I loved how Jesse and Aaron met. Nothing like extreme circumstances to stir up strong emotions – and did it ever.

Given who she was, and who Aaron was, their relationship seemed doomed from the start. Thankfully, they were both stubborn and resourceful. Love mattered and was worth the effort. Even if that included battling deadly enemies and complicated family trees…

This author is one of my favourites. I can’t resist great stories with real characters and she makes witches and wolves not only plausible but entertaining and highly lovable…

This author is new to me, so having not read the previous books in this series I was worried I would struggle with it.
Despite my worry it read fine as a stand alone and was a fast paced, steamy read.
The characters are incredibly likable too.
There are some great unexpected twists that help this book to stand out from the crowd.
I will certainly be reading more in this series and from this author

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jesse's mother was an unmated female who got pregnant and her pack turned their backs on her. The father was mated and already had two daughter's but wanted a son. So when her mother went into labor and gave birth by herself to a baby girl, she knew the father would kill them both. But her mother knew she only had a little while to live because she was bleeding to death, so she got them both in a boat and headed to where the witch lived. She got Jesse to safety right before she died and Lottie, the witch raised the baby herself. She kept her safe, knowing that the father would kill her if he ever found out about her. Jesse's parents were both werewolves so she is too.

After Jesse was grown, Lottie passed away and her life is thrown into danger since she no longer has Lottie's power to keep her safe. While she's on the run for her life and her father and his flunkies are hot on her tail, she comes across Aaron who is also a werewolf.

Aaron can sense that Jesse is a werewolf but she flea's when she notices him and he doesn't understand why she's so scared of her own kind so he goes after her. Once he catches up to her he offers to help her for the night and after some convincing, she takes him up on the offer. When he finally learns from her what she's running from, he's more than a little angry that she's having to deal with this and he offers to help her but she doesn't want to get him involved and possibly killed. But he's persistent and she wants trust him but it's really only after the bad guys somehow catch up with her and put both of them in danger that he takes over and gets his father involved who happens to be his pack's alpha.

I loved Jesse, she's a fighter and tough as nails. She's really been on her own most of her life even though Lottie raised her. But she didn't have her family or pack around her and she's had a hard life knowing that her own father wants her dead. Aaron is such a wonderful hero. He's tough when it's called for but caring and gentle when he knows Jesse needed it.

I liked the ending and how they dealt with the problem. I'm having a good time with this series so far.

The Salvation Pack books have always been good, but this one really delivered all the smutty romance with very little of the darkness that so commonly interferes with the main characters. That's not to say that Aaron and Jesse have a smooth ride, but for me I found this one even more enjoyable.

Aaron is on a bit of a walkabout, trying to figure out where he fits in a pack full of mates. At a bar one night he finds an attractive girl, Jesse, who seems to be alone just like him, but she runs before he has a chance to interact with her in a more appropriate manner. Wolves being wolves, they end up crossing paths again with sexy results. Are there trust issues? Sure! Jesse was raised by a witch and is on the run from her evil father who would rather kill her than let her live out her life without him.

These two make a great pair, neither putting up with too much and willing to step up when it counts. As usual, the supporting cast of characters is rich and entertaining. As a standalone, you can probably get by with this book, but to truly appreciate the world, you should start back at the beginning of this universe. This book delivers a nicely tied up HEA with room for growth in future books. You don't need to spend too much time in the bad guy's head here, so that left me much happier at the end of the story, too.

I finally finished this after taking my thesis. I remember really liking this at first, I did enjoy it because it has good writing. As someone who has read a lot of werewolf books, I can definitely say that this is one those that has good writing compared to those I've read in this genre.

The characters, Aaron and Jesse, were likeable. I liked how the story started, it really hooked me. This also has multiple point of views and it's not divided into chapters, sometimes it would just be cut into another paragraph but I didn't mind it that much since I understood it. I would've given this five starts if not for the repetitive dialogues and the part before the ending which was totally random in my opinion.

Overall, I really enjoyed this and I am planning on reading this series since I am curious about Jacque and Gwen's story.

This was my first read by N.J. Walters, and I was a bit worried about jumping into a series without having read the previous books. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to jump into the world Walters has created for her shifters. This could be because Wolf Meets His Fate is set outside of the pack territory and she does a great job of setting up Jesse and Aaron as strong protagonists apart from the other books in the series. When we are introduced to previous characters, it is from Jesse's POV and the introductions and explanations to their history is natural and doesn't feel as though we're being force fed "character updates". There is a high level of steam to this books but Walters doesn't sacrifice character or plot to fit it in.
Even coming into this series midway, I really enjoyed the story and world Walter's created and I will be checking out more of her work.

Wolf Meets His Fate by N.J. Walters is book 4 in the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation Series. This is the story of Jesse and Aaron. Aaron wanting to take a break from his pack happens upon Jesse while on vacation. Jesse is has been turned away from her pack and her father is out to kill her. The only person that she had was a power feared witch who is now dead. So she is on the run when she meets Aaron. I am a huge fan of Ms. Walters, so for me this was a must read. Loved it.
