It’s been awhile since I read a book by N.J. Walters and I must say this is a great read. Jesse is a wolf shifter and was orphaned at birth raised by Lottie a powerful witch. Jesse’s mom died giving birth to her and her father tries to kill her. She was shunned by her pack in the swamps of Louisiana. With the death of Lottie the pack comes after Jesse wanting her dead and she is on the run. Aaron is a wolf shifter who left his pack and is living on a farm in West Virginia. Jesse and Aaron meet each other at a local bar and Aaron is strongly attracted to her and finds out the reason he is attracted to her is that she is his fated mated. Jesse needs to trust someone; can she trust Aaron. Jesse wasn’t raised around wolves and doesn’t know that life style can she trust Aaron.

How will Aaron convince Jesse that they are fated mates, can he convince her to trust him, will he be able to protect her from wolf pack that is after, why is the pack after Jesse and why was she shunned by them?

I don't know why, but I did not know this book was about werewolf (I should have known based on the title). It was a good surprise. I really loved Jesse, and Aaron, but I feel like their characters were not developped enough to my tastes. The book was kinda short, so something had to go. The story was good, enough descriptions, and details. I would just have loved more characters developpement.

Another great N.J. Walter's shifter story. In order to save Jesse from her father and his pack, her mother races against time to make sure Jesse is kept safe at birth. Her savor is a local witch. When her guardian dies, Jesse runs for her life and eventually meets Aaron.

Aaron knows he's found his mate and tries to stay one step ahead of those that want to see Jesse dead. Can he protect her and get her to safety?

This series is great. If you get a chance check out some of the other books. I didn't read them in order and I don't think it is necessary to.

Love these stories. When Jess meets a handsome stranger her first thought is they found me. Arron is trying to decide what todo with his life. His friends and family have found something he’s been looking for. When his eyes meet Jess’s he knows he’s found what he’s been searching for but can he keep her? This is the question!

I couldn’t find this book on Goodreads to leave a review. I realize that this is a spin-off from one of the authors other series. While I’m usually a serial reader of series, I felt this book read fine as a standalone. I immediately fell in love with the MMC and felt for the heroine and her struggles. The writing style was perfect! Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys shifter romances!

Yowza! What a beginning! It definitely was not what I expected. We pretty much get to learn about Jesse from her very beginning so once we get to the present, it’s easy to understand her motivations. And why she has such deep distrusts and insecurities. In walks Aaron into her life and nothing will be the same. He’s strong and fierce but you can tell he has a vulnerable side. Something is missing from his life and he’s far from his family trying to sort it out when the missing puzzle piece walks in.

I think I may have found my favorite couple in this new generation series: Aaron and Jesse. I am such a sucker when it comes to two strong main characters with fragile sides. Him trying to sort his life’s purpose and her struggling to stay alive. They get hot between them but something else begins to bloom – hope. While the pacing of the story is fast, it has a natural progression to it. Honestly, once I started reading I just couldn’t put it down. I should also mention, there’s a cat. Who doesn’t love a shifter book that has a cat!

I always think it’s funny when authors write series and then say they can be read as standalones. *Rolls eyes* So okay, maybe you could get away with it in this case but are dynamics to this series that will be missed. Like the connections between the original five members of the Salvation Pack and their now grown children. So if you want to truly appreciate all the characters and their importance, do yourself a favor grab yourself the first series and read it before jumping into this next generation. You’ll thank me later.

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I read this in one sitting. It was predictable but fun to read. I’m not sure I’d read others in the series.

This is the fourth installment of The Next Generation of The Salvation Pack. It can be read as a standalone though. I found this one to just be OK. It did tie up some loose ends from the main series and hinted at least one more book to come. It was a 4 on the spice scale so if you want some werewolf smut here ya go.

I do wish it had been longer. The plot points were too convenient and while they made sense it felt like this was a novella that was missing something rather than a whole book. The drama could have been drawn out with the chase. It was insta love and even though they mate it wasn't exactly fated and was just way too convenient for me. The issues to deal with between two people from completely different backgrounds were minimal and unbelievable how they just powered through them. You don't go from being a loner to being in a pack without some sort of an adjustment period. The smut was good but the overall story line left me feeling empty.

I loved this book. It is fast paced and riveting. Jesse has spent her life on the outside of pack life. In fact hiding from the outside world. Her life is upended sending her on the run. Until fate intervenes. Highly recommend this one.

Unique!

I really enjoyed this story. Alpha male; tough as nails female, intense journey, genuine emotion and a touch of magic

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

this story would work well on it's own. it's along the lines of fated mate/insta-love but, while the relationship moves quickly, it doesn't feel rushed as the Jesse and Aaron actually do talk and discuss their feelings and worries as things progress. Aaron tempers his protective alpha instincts, understanding that Jesse has fears due to being on the run and her past while Jesse shows her own inner strength and smarts as she refuses to roll over under male alpha power or her own insecurities and fears. there's plenty of different action as well as some sweet & funny moments. All in all a pleasant, easy read making for an enjoyable afternoon relaxing.

ARC provided by NetGalley and Evernight Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Please note this is the first book I've read a by this author. (#4 in Salvation series, Jesse and Aaron's story.)

I'm not going to lie, I have a love of paranormal romance books. I really enjoyed this book. 4.5/5

From the beginning, I was drawn into the story. Jesse's a lone wolf on the run from a father that's wanted her dead, since the day she was born. She is a survivor. A motorcycle riding badass with a stubborn and independent streak.

Aaron is the alpha's son, trying to find himself away from his pack. He's strong, a good listener with a lot of love to give. After a freak encounter, he goes searching for Jesse, but she doesn't want to be found and fur flies. Before long, they're reluctantly fighting together for their lives and forming a bond.

I will forever adore Aaron for being adopted by Bast, the cat. Fans of this genre will I love this book! The best part, for me, is they're several books in the Salvation series to continue your reading adventure. While this book is part of a series, this can be read as a stand-alone book.

Wolf Meets His Fate is a fabulously riveting and beautifully heart-wrenching journey of discovering the hidden beauty and well spring of love that comes from pain and determination. This story stole the very breath from my lungs as it tore my heart to shreds. Nothing about it is easy, but the precious gift discovered along the way makes it all worth while.

Jesse is desperate to escape the lethal danger that haunts her every step. She doesn't know what peace or love is because she isn't able to stay in one place long enough to even rest. When she is thrown into the path of a mysterious male wolf, she runs as if the hounds of hell are nipping at her feet. She never expected someone like Aaron would find her or much less want her to stick around. Aaron is intrigued and before long utterly smitten by the beautiful Jesse. She calls to him like no other woman, and he wants to find out why. Will these two have a chance to explore the promise of love and more between them, or will the evil that haunts Jesse take it all away before she can take her next breath?

Jesse is an enigma wrapped in a riddle, and Aaron can't wait to unwrap her. He knows she means something to him, and he will never let her go. I absolutely love the determination of Aaron to hold onto Jesse not matter what. She fills a void in his life, and he refuses to let her walk away because she would take his heart with her. Even though Jesse can't stay, she also knows her heart won't let her leave Aaron. He is dangerous, and yet he has imprinted himself onto her very soul. He is a part of her, and she will fight to keep him.

N.J. Walters has given us a spectacular gift of hope, love, perseverance, and loyalty in her latest masterpiece. There is nothing better then curling up with a book from N. J. Walters. You know you will find exactly what you need within its pages every time. While I have thoroughly enjoyed her Brotherhood series, this sounds like a very good series as well to dive into and savor.

A lone wolf on the run. She is running from her father and other enemies who are a murderous lot.

Aaron is taking a break from his pack to revesit his life. He doesn't know where he stands in the future. Whilst having a drink,he saw Jesse who takes off running. He goes after her, but she is slippery and manages to escape. When he eventually catches up to her, she goes on the defensive. He convinces her to come back to his place for a while. As they get talking, he learns a lot about her life and he swears to protect her. Has he found his mate and can he protect her?

It's fast paced. When he involves his family, they couldn't be more supportive. They are close and care for eacho ther. She might not be alone after all and now feels as though she belongs.

I received an eARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Enjoyed the story but needed a quicker pace. The story seemed to drag on. And quicker end to the sperm donor!

Just another entertaining and interesting cliche romance. Paranormal romances are seriously always such fun and such a delight to read about. This was nothing short of entertaining, I had so much fun reading and getting to know every single character!

LOVED this one! Loved Jesse's back story! Loved that Aaron being alpha needed to get away from his family to find himself. Really loved that he could get Jesse to trust him and work together instead of against each other.

I do love this whole back and the obvious love they all have for each other. Looking forward to seeing where we go next with this group of shifters.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This seemed very familiar to me, maybe I have read a similar book. Not sure, but as far as I know this is my first time reading this author. This is book 4 in a series. This is Jesse and Aaron's story. Jesse has been on the run. She confused me, but I enjoyed the story. I wish we got to know Lottie better-she seemed amazing. I did love Bast!! 3.5 stars

Werewolves - action - obsession - revenge! A life of running and not really belonging - running alone - and she finally runs into that one that will change it all - bring it all together - everything can change in an instant. And, yes a happy ending!
