I was lost in the beginning but I’m glad I stuck with it. Great plot!
Many thanks to Mind Sleuth Publications and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book most certainly doesn't tire! Not only are you gripped from the start by the mystery of the murders, but you become entwined in the relationship growing between Sam and 'the dog'. This more than deserves 5 stars for a mystery and thriller!

When a US representative is almost gunned down in Washington DC, Sam is brought in on the case and knowing she needs help she calls in dog. He is called that because everyone says he is like a dog with a bone. When more representatives are targetedSam think she knows who is doing it. Her suspicions are close, But when she herself gets kidnapped by the same man with a different personality. She may never get the chance to tell dog just how close she was. This book is so good! I didn’t know it was a cozy mystery in the beginning of a new Siri‘s, But I’m excited to read the next book in the collection. I think Bruce M Perrin did a great job I love his writing style and I thought the plot was so interesting. I love that Sam and dog got together and thought the ending was awesome. If you love mysteries that are not easy to figure out you really should read this book. I did and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was given this book by Net Gally and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Please forgive any grammar of punctuation errors as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are definitely my own.

This book is a mind bending journey through a thriller grounded in sci-fi mind control techniques that are in the development stage even now....A series of murders and attempted murders that at first glance seem to be unrelated ( all involving politicians but in different states and wounded/killed by women who have recently developed delusions ranging from aliens, Nazis, etc. ), followed by suicides by by the suspects. A single strand starts to suggest a web linking them to a possible plot that takes so many twists and turns, the reader is never bored! A truly intriguing and unusual thriller that will leave the reader doing their own research!
