Beth Wiseman has pulled it off again!
I just love her books and this one was no exception.
Wonderful plot with awesome characters and I was happy to see some returning ones.
This book definitely has all the feel good quirks that I loved about it.
I too loved the bookstore setting! I love visiting everytime Beth writes this series. I just simply don't want to leave! And the smell of the books! Oh my!
I took my time and savored this book because I didn't want it to end.
There were times when I really wanted to yell at Brianna for doing the things she did. Some of them were just uncalled for.
She was one person that I simply couldn't like.
I was rooting for Yvonne all the way!
5 stars for a well written story and realistic characters. I loved feeling the what they felt
Well done for leaving me full of satisfaction and thinking about them long after this book was finished.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Loved the story despite not loving all the characters. Cute romance that brought two of my favorite things together - Amish life and bookstores.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a continuation of some characters from a previous book. The story revolves around two women who move to Montgomery, Indiana to start new lives. They both have the same love interest. That pace is good and the story is very nice and easy to read. There is an appearance of Lizzie and Esther, the eccentric sisters who run the Peony Inn. They always make you smile and laugh.--especially Lizzie. I hope they are featured in more books.
The worst I can say is that it could have been cut down towards the end since there seemed to be some repetition of things that were already well established. Overall, it's a good read!

There isn't a single Beth Wiseman book that I haven't simply loved, and The Story of Love is no exception. Her books are full of heart and light, grace and redemption. While I haven't read the first book in this new series, I easily picked up with book 2 and caught right up. Yvonne and Abraham were so well suited for each other and it was fun reading their journey. This book was a tad bit more suspenseful than the other books I have read by her, but still characteristic of her other works. I would love a follow up that would tackle more of these characters journey to adjust to their choices made at the end of this book. Can't wait to read the next in the series! Thanks to Zondervan Fiction and #NetGalley for the ARC.

Once again, Beth Wiseman takes us back to her Amish Bookstore Novel series for another fascinating story. I was able to read this book in a day and a half because it grabbed me from page one and did not let go. I highly recommend this book.

Thank you Zondervan Fiction for allowing me to read, Beth Wiseman’s second book in her An Amish Bookstore Novel Series , The Story of Love.

We met our main characters, Yvonne Wilson, a former book buyer who came to Montgomery, Indiana to buy a rare book from Jake and Eva, who owned the bookstore, and Abraham Byler, a former Amish man turned policeman in the first book in this series. Due to distance and tragedy, the two could seem to get their timing right.

In this book, Yvonne has left her busy, hectic, life behind and moved to Mongomery to run Jake’s bookstore since he is now needed full time at home. Now that distance is no longer an issue between Yvonne and Abraham, it seems a new girlfriend stands in the way. Timing, always timing seems to be against these two.
This story will hold your attention from beginning to end. As you read, you are never sure what a page turn will bring.

I highly recommend this book and give it 5-stars. The opinions are my own, and I was not required to give a positive review.

Preorder yours today. Release day is October 11, 2022.

The Story of Love by Beth Wiseman is a sweet story about of a non-Amish woman who moves to a small Amish community to help her friends at their bookstore. The prior year, while searching for a special book, she met Jake and Eva, became friends and attended their wedding. At the time of the wedding she met a local policeman, Abraham, who had grown up Amish but wanted to be a policeman. She had just lost her fiancé and was not ready to move on with another man. Now recovered a bit from her grief, Yvonne decides to leave her Texas home and returns to Montgomery, Indiana to help Jake and Eva and manage their bookstore. With Yvonne’s return, it isn’t long before Abraham knows she’s back. The problem is that Abraham now has a girlfriend which could interfere with his desire to renew his friendship with Yvonne; until it ends. I struggled putting this book down, wanting to know what happens and then I didn’t want it to end because I wanted to know more about Abraham and Yvonne's life together. I highly recommend The Story of Love to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Wow! What a riveting story! I was anticipating an Amish love story where some problem nearly derails the romance, but I certainly didn't expect to get totally engrossed in a psychological thriller. It kept me guessing and turning pages from the very first page. This is a book that I didn't want to end because I want to follow Abraham and Yvonne's life.

Sweet story of a woman who moves to a small Amish community to help her friends at their bookstore. She has lost her fiance and is recovering from grief but looking forward to a new kind of life with a new outlook on life and God. This is a sequel to a previous story where her friends met and married. At the time of their wedding she met a local policeman who had once been Amish but wanted to be a policeman. They hit it off and now they are renewing ther friendship. This is not your run of the mill Amish romance. Beth Wiseman tells a lot more involved and interesting story than that. This one does not disappoint. I love how she gently persuades the reader to examine their own faith in the course of the story.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my own honest opinion.

Yvonne has returned to Indiana just in time to see Abraham in another relationship. While they shared a connection, the timing has always been off for these two. Can they forge a closer relationship now? It is difficult with a crazy girlfriend, Abraham's thoughts of making a life change, and a potentially dangerous situation for them both...
