Talk about validating my experiences but also giving me better language. I often think about how stress shows up in the body because of the chronic stressors. To see it could look like as sleep disturbance, hypertension, and diabetes, and negative mental health outcomes including anxiety and depression is literally my life (unfortunately).

Playing a new game is about learning about how to be more uplifting with your goals when it comes to your career and job. I feel it is a must read. You learn about the world of corporate and how you have to learn to play the game to achieve your goals. You have to learn how to follow and lead at the same time. It is a game changer.

With microaggressions on the rise, women of color need tips to help them through the day. Dr. Wilborn delves into the challenges one may face and offers sound advice and tools to assist. Though geared towards women of color, anyone can use the tools given within the book. I highly recommend it to all who are struggling within the workforce.

This book is so timely & so needed. As a black woman surviving (not thriving) in the workforce, I haven't always gotten the support I needed. Often, this is because so few look like me in leadership positions. While I don't always get the support I need, I have vowed to become the support for other black women n the workforce. This book has given me some valuable tools for myself & others I may mentor. As a mental health expert, Dr. Wilborn brings helpful information to the table. As women & especially black women, we're quick to neglect ourselves for others. This is not healthy & quite dangerous. We must take care of ourselves!!
