Friends had recommended this series to me for years, but I was always apprehensive due to the addiction aspect. But damn if I didn’t love this! Even with all their flaws it’s hard not to get sucked into Lily and Lo’s world. Their love story is messy and imperfect and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I’m also really excited to get to Rose and Daisy’s books after meeting Connor and Ryke! 4.5 stars

I love this book and this series! It's unlike anything I've read before and it takes you on a journey following two broken people, healing with each other.

Lily is a sex addict and nobody knows but Loren, her fake-boyfriend. When I first started reading this book, I hated how rich and entitled they were. I couldn't sympathize with their problems. But as the book went on and more characters got introduced, I loved the way they all interacted. Loren and Lily are the friends-to-lovers blueprint and I love how unconditionally they love each other through their struggles.

Loren's alcoholism is hereditary and both he, Ryke and his father suffer from it. I personally loved Loren's character and wished from book 1 that we got his POV. His internal struggle is heartbreaking and realistic. I loved how Lily took care of him, and he took care of her.

Their love for each other transcends any problem or addiction. they will do anything for one another and really do! Their character growth doesn't stop at the end of the book and continues onward, and it's been such a pleasure to read their journey!

I struggled to get into this one since I had a really hard time personally relating to the main characters. It was nice to see how the love interests came together, but I tend to gravitate more towards stories that feel like worlds that I would like to be a part of.

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

This is a book I have already loved, from back in its self-publishing days, so I was excited to get an ARC of this new version to rediscover my love for it. While the changes are subtle, they are there, making for a better reading experience. This is a romcom series that is well worth the hype and will have you rooting for this beautiful little group of chosen family.

I don't want to say anything more that would spoil the story, but I would say that the story is "addicting" and page-turning.. It brings you in a world of emotions with these characters. It really exceeded my expectation, it's well-written that their pain, humiliation and struggles were felt. These authors are storytellers that really let the readers in their characters raw emotions.

2.5 stars.
This book needs a shitload of trigger warnings, and I found it quite problematic that the arc didn't have any.
The book was mediocre at best. I found the characters to be unlikable, and the plot didn't fully grab my attention. The writing style was great, though, which made it easy to read. I'm not sure I would have been able to finish it otherwise.

"He’s my drug that I gladly consume, and I think that’s what he fears most. He enables my addiction. Always has. And the longer we’re together, he always will.” There is just something so toxic about my brain that adores people who become so obsessed with one another to an arguably unhealthy level. This is like gossip girl, euphoria and skins into a book. Do I want this kind of love for myself? I feel like my therapist would tell me to say no. But is it fun and hot to read about? ABSOLUTELY. I am obsessed. This series just has everything I could want in it and more.

For the first book in the series it hooked me in and had me fully invested! I feel in love with all the characters, even when I wasn’t 100% sold on the plot. I’m excited to see where the rest of the series goes

I am a sucker for books that are called TikTok sensations. Seriously, I am so curious and just cannot resist. So, I knew I had to read Addicted To You by Krista and Becca Ritchie. Additionally, the white minimalist heart cover caught my eye. We love a bold pink font over here. This new adult contemporary romance is the story of two very flawed individuals who just might be each other’s saving grace.

Addicted To You kicks off the series of the same name. It follows Lily Calloway and Loren Hale, college students and childhood best friends who live together and are in a fake relationship. The relationship covers their vices — Lily is addicted to sex and Lo is an alcoholic. Both Lily and Lo are from very wealthy families — worth billions. Lily has three sisters. Lo has no siblings. After a series of questionable decisions, Lily and Lo end up together for real. Both must fight their addictions and their relationship just might be the key to doing this. They also eventually make two friends – Connor Cobalt the tutor and Ryke, the track team captain who helps them at a party.

Addicted To You is different from other books I’ve recently read. It explores addiction and the different types of addictions without demonizing the characters. I did actually really like that aspect. There’s enough stigma as it is, so good on this book for counteracting that. I did think this was a little slow paced and I didn’t find Lily or Lo all that likeable, but their relationship dynamic was interesting. Also, I LOVED reading about Lily’s sisters. I would love to read more about Rose and Daisy and Poppy.

This book was a huge struggle for me to get through and enjoy. I didn’t agree with or really connect with either of the main characters. Additionally, we were stuck in Lily’s POV the entire book, and a lot of the things she thought seemed very whiny and also viewed herself as the victim. She was selfish and I couldn't connect with her in any form. 2 stars. Side characters made this one more worth it though.

This book was pretty good. This book follows two best friends who both have secrets. One is addicted to sec and the other is addicted to alcohol both trying to hide but facing new challenges. So when I first started the book, I didn't like the writing. I already hated Lily but I saw so much love for this series on TikTok that I knew I had to keep on going. And I did. The book did start to get better and I did start to enjoy the story more. The pacing was great and I love how big the world of the Calloways is. There is so much to discover about each character and I'm here for it. I do enjoy the storyline but I wonder how it will go for the next books in this series as it follows the same characters.

So this book only follows Lily's pov which I was disappointed with as I wanted to know more about Lo. I have to say that Lily was kind of meh. I didn't get her character (not her addiction) but I how she wasn't worried about Lo and how she was described. I did like Lo at some parts but I know I will love him later in the series. Not much character development here but I think it will focus on the upcoming books. There are many side characters who are easy to keep up with. I love how involved they are with the story and can't wait to read their parts. The romance is friends to lovers but I didn't feel much for the couple yet.

The ending didn't end with a cliffhanger but I will start the second book soon. I want to know how the story goes as it kind of gives me After by Anna Todd vibes. The blurb was correct that it's perfect for "fans of Gossip Girl, Friends and Euphoria" as I agree with it. I can't say I recommend this book yet until I read book 2 so be on the look out.

This is going to be one of those series that makes you sad when it’s over. Can’t wait to get my heart ripped out.

While I'm aware that this is a popular series, I went into this one completely blind. I can see how this series is one that people are eager to read more of because I find myself caring for the characters (even the side ones) in a way that I didn't expect. While they're all incredibly toxic, I felt myself rooting for them all to get better for themselves and for each other.

Thank you NetGalley, Berkley Publishing Group, and Krista & Becca Ritchie for this advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Oh my god. Wow. I ate this book up and immediately added the next to my TBR. I had to keep hiding my iPad and looking over my shoulder to make sure my kids weren't around while I read. Just wow!

This was a 40% DNF for me. Not because it's a bad book, but I think the themes are just too dark for me at the moment. The two main characters are very self destructive and I don't think I'm in the right place to read it right now.

This itself seems like a good sign - that these characters are written true to the self destructive and spiraling addictive character.

I truly struggled to finish this book and finally abandoned it to my "will read later" pile. I think it may be directly attributable to the mood I was in, and I fully intend to read it in its entirety later this year.

Although the dialogue and the characters were engaging, I couldn't connect with them and found myself ambivalent about the evolution of the love story.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!

Lily and Lo are not your average romance novel couple. She's a sex addict and he's an alcoholic. Their relationship starts off toxic in that they can't help but enable each other after years of hiding their addictions from everyone but each other.

And yet - you can't help but root for them. They so obviously love each other and are really fighting to be together in a healthy way. I also really enjoyed the side characters - Rose, Lily, and Ryke!

This book and story and characters are not going to be for everyone. There are many trigger warnings with this book and series so I would urge you to read those before starting this series if concerned.

I though loved this book so much that I immediately bought the whole rest of the series along with the Calloway Sisters books and have been making my way through all the books in the recommended reading order!

One of my favorite love stories of any book I've read. Lilly and Lo have my whole heart. The ups and downs they go through, the journey they take to better themselves. The first book was so hard to read because I was so frustrated with these characters and just wanted them to get themselves together and even by the end I wanted to throw my book across the room but I'm so glad I kept going. Krista and Becca know how to write characters that you will get 100% attached to in a short amount of time.

Thank you #Netgalley for providing this arc of the republished #AddictedToYou book!
