Adelaide is searching for the perfect man. However, she goes about it in a way that could bring ruin if discovered. Gyles, previously a confirmed bachelor, falls for Adelaide. However, it will take many kisses and an act of God to get Adelaide and his parents to accept a match between them. Great read!
Thank you Cerise DeLand, Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my hnest feedback.

I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.

Adelaide Devereaux has found that since she's known she needs to marry, and soon, she can't help but kiss prospective beaux, to ensure they're the right fit for her. However, knowing that her reputation, and that of her sisters, means everything to the ton, she'll curb her instincts while in Brighton. So meeting the Marquess of Heath, a self proclaimed bachelor who claims to have fallen for her, but because of her grandfather's reputation, isn't a suitable bride, Adelaide wants nothing to do with him. But Gyles is nothing if not determined, and though he knows that it won't be easy, he's ready to do what it takes to be with her.

Another great and quick read in the Naughty Ladies series. I liked how Addy was not one to give in to societal pressures, but also that she would never do anything which could harm her family seriously. Meeting Gyles, and realising that his headaches, caused by imprisonment at Verdun, could be helped, she relishes being useful. I liked the camaraderie between Addy and Gyles, and the way that their relationship progressed. However, the story wasn't that long, so I don't think the plot developed as well as it could've done. Even so, still a really enjoyable book, and has definitely whet my appetite for book 3!

Romance and Scandal

How do you find the right man to marry? Why, you must kiss the attractive ones until you find the right one, of course. That seemed to be Addy’s motto, but finding Gyles put a stop to her escapades. Addy did not go beyond kisses, but that was probably still scandalous. Gyles and Addy would not have an easy path. There was the matter of his parents who would not accept her because of her grandfather’s deed. There was also some mischief caused by a misguided fool who wanted Addy for himself. Would Addy and Gyles beat the odds? If you like Regency romance with a dash of suspense, you might enjoy this story.

Another one of those Irish lasses is up to mischief in Cerise DeLand’s fabulous Naughty Ladies series. This time it is Adelaide Devereaux in Lady, Behave and don’t let the title fool you…the lady does everything except behave. But in her defense, she is looking for the perfect pair of lips, er, perfect man, to make her hear wedding bells. That man is definitely not the confirmed bachelor who vows to kiss her until she’s felt the earth turn on its axis. The fun and hi-jinks that ensue are wonderfully written by the talented Cerise DeLand, Now I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the last of those Irish triplets!

This is such a delightful romance! Adelaide Devereaux “Addy” is an Irish triplet that is in London for the season with her sisters. When she meets Gyles Whitmore, Marquess of Heath, they are both smitten with each other. Even though Addy is a Diamond of the first water , she is not good enough for Gyles father to accept. As the passion between these two sizzles, he is not about to let his spunky girl go, and fights for their HEA. A most enjoyable read!

Lady Behave is the second installment of The Naughty Ladies series, and is a delightfully captivating addition. The Devereaux sisters' story continues and here we have the youngest, Adelaide's story and her quest for love. Addy is a healer and is dedicated to improving her healing skills. Despite her mild-mannered nature, she has a reputation for being a little on the wild side. She is doing everything she can to squash that image of her. She meets Gyles at a chemist's shop and he is completely taken with her. She learns of the headaches he suffers from and is only too willing to help him. Gyles for his part is immediately smitten with her, but his parent's disapproval creates a barrier, one that Gyles is determined to break down. I found this to be a thoroughly enchanting story and am glad to have had the opportunity to read. The story captured my attention from the start and I was engrossed till the end. The characters were nicely developed and there was no question as to how strong their chemistry was. A very well-written story and a great addition to a very entertaining series! Looking forward to the next one!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book for my review.
There are three sisters and this story involves Addy Devereaux, a beautiful, lady, who in is thoughtful, and ambitious. She wants to help folks with herbs and potions. She meets Giles, Marquess of Heath, who is at the apothecary for a cure for his headaches. Giles and Addy get to talking and they are both smitten. Instant love. Giles will do anything to protect her.
The story has a few twists in the story with regard to their parents. Giles swears he will. Work it out with his parents so they can marry.
This story was fast and sweet with some steamy spots.
I liked it but it was way to short and not quite developed enough for my liking. There is also a dual relation with another sister Imogen who marries Giles friend Lex.

I received a copy from NetGalley and this is my freely given opinion.

This is the second in the Naughty ladies series, about the youngest of the triplets, Adelaide. This occurs during a concurrent timeline to the story of Imogen, from book 1.

Adelaide meets Gyles, the Marquess of Heath, the friend to the Earl of Martindale (who ends up wedding Imogen). He also carries some scars from his time in Verdun, though, thanks to Martindale's father, he was able to make his escape earlier. However, one of the unseen scars he carries are migraines triggered by bright lights, and loud noises. Adelaide has a talent for and interest in herbal concoctions, and they meet at a local chemist. He is enthralled by her. Beyond a lust for her body and beauty, he is intrigued by her mind and intelligence and had determined early on that he would wed her. His parents, the Duke and Duchess, however, are against the match because of their deceased grandfather, a known and notorious fence for stolen art. They try to manipulate Heath by making their objections and the sister's notorious bloodline known. This makes Addie question if Gyles would be serious about a relationship with her, and forces her to consider other options.

This was a short sweet story. I liked the herbal/healing element of it, and Addie and Gyles have a rather sweet connection.

3 stars out of 5.

Addy and Gyles’ story was more enjoyable for me than Imogen and Lex. There were several opportunities for increased drama and I was disappointed to not get them…I won’t spoil the story with details, but a few side plots could have been built up more. Also, it took me a bit to get used to the idea that most of Addys story was occurring right along side Imogene’s. So there was definite overlap of scenes, but it was interesting to see how they were interwoven.

The Heroine
Addy is a beautiful, petite Diamond of Society, but she desperately wants to be seen for more than her beauty. She smart and interested in alchemy, mixing medicine. She is instantly drawn to Gayle’s and is wooed by his pure attraction to her and his appreciation of her thoughts and talents. She can be very sweet, docile, and polite, but, as several gentleman found out, also very honest and straightforward!

The Hero
Gyles was imprisoned in Paris for many years in his youth and vowed to live life to the fullest when he escaped! But once he sets on eyes on Addy, he is smitten! He has headaches from his time in captivity and Addy helps him. He also harbors some ill-will towards his dad for not paying the ransom to release him and for his horrible management of his estates. For all that Gyles has to deal with, remarkably, he takes it in stride. He knows he loves Addy and will stop at nothing, including defy his parents wishes, to have her!

The Steam
Even if I didn’t fully fall for the installed, the steam was definitely there between the two. They had great dirty banter and the few scenes were steamy!,

Tropes
Georgian Era, Historical Romance, Season/Marriage Mart, Ton Society, Rake Hero, Titled Hero, Virgin Heroine, Instant Attraction, Kidnapped,

This was so close to being a great book. The characters were good. The story had interesting elements. The romance was well paced and sexy at times. I only gave it 3 stars because I wanted more of everything. This book could be longer and more story developed because it felt like certain parts were just sped along where I wanted to dive in more. Feels like this was a great summary of a much longer book, please write more!

Lady, Behave by Cerise Deland is one of triplets who grandfather had the unfortunate habit of stealing expensive, very expensive, things, and reselling them. This did not do a lot for their reputations. There was a whole room of them, hopefully being disposed of, discreetly, at the very moment. Adelaide (Addy) and her two sisters were in town to find husbands, ostensibly. Addy really didn't want one. She wanted to concoct potions that cured people of their various maladies. Gyles Whitmore, Marquess of Heath, was in need of such a potion, as was his mother. He suffered from cerebro-spinal shock (PTSD), which often manifested as a headache. She suffered from contrariness. Addy was not impressed when she met them at the apothecary shop. She was more impressed when she met him at a ball.

This was a fun story, a romance that his parents tried to discourage, but his mind was made up. He was not much of a communicator so when he went off to London to arrange things, he didn't mention it and she felt abandoned, and heart-broken. She was not all that happy to see him again, for a few moments. Men can be so hard to read. Meanwhile, she had been "accosted" by several men, in none of whom was she interested. They did not seem to understand when she told them plainly she had no interest. One even thought to abduct her. It was an amusing story to follow to its end.

I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Lady, Behave by Dragonblade, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #netgalley #dragonblade #cerisedeland #ladybehave

A fairly short, but busy romance the plot moves at a fast pace with humor and interesting characters. Addy aspires to improve her healing skills, even eschewing attendance at Sunday services to visit people who are skilled in the art and can help her improve her understanding of herbs. However, she also has a reputation of being a bit on the wild side, something she is doing her best to quell. Lord Heath, has his own past to put behind him and finds that Addy draws him like a magnet. Unfortunately, Gyles' father has his own history with Addy's family and the path to true love is littered with his disparagement and resentment. Despite Addy's vocation and past, Gyles is not the only one desiring Addy as his wife, but he is far less honorable than Gyles. Fortunately, the plot comes to a good conclusion and Gyles manages to settle his family affairs in a way that will not impinge on his marriage to Addy. I received a copy of this romance as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Thank you NetGalley. Addy meets Gyles, Marquess of Heath. She is able to help him with his headaches. She is with her two sisters in Brighton for the mini season. He has been held by the French in a prison and just trying to adjust to being among his own people again. They are drawn to each other from the first they met. Her grandfather had a portrait that belonged to Gyles family at one time. His father has been against them marrying but they will overcome his trying to block their relationship.

A light read of quick love and commitment. Adelaide is not like every other girl, indeed these 3 Irish sisters are quite unique. Adelaide seeks only to use her talents to help others, viewing her beauty as a crutch to her mind. She has a talent with herbs and potions, using them to create or better medicinals to heal others maladies. She sees such malady in the Marquess of Heath, and helps him to deal with his ailments. They are quickly bonded to one another and find themselves quite in love. Their journey to forever is faced with many hurdles, from his disapproving parents to the rumours of her family history. But love wins out in the end, leaving this two to build a life together and find their everlasting happiness in each other’s arms. I love the Giles supports her in her efforts, rather than trying to squash them as so many men in that time did. The come together as equals, and their is no better foundation.

Just why should a lady behave? She is beautiful and desirable, but she wants to find the man that sets her aflame. How to do that? Why kiss as many men as she can and see what happens!

Of course she finds the one man whose family might not accept her, Gyles, Marquess of Heath. He is totally enchanted by her and determined to make her his forever.

But can they make it work? That is if they do not go up in flames first? A great addition to this series that will have you rooting for these two!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This is a charming historical romance. Gyles, Marquess of Heath, is in his early thirties. His parents are pressuring him to settle down and produce a few heirs. After years in a French prison, he suffers from debilitating headaches. At the chemist shop, he meets Adelaide Devereaux (Addy). Addy is the youngest of triplets. Granddaughters of the late Earl of Barry. The Irish triplets are in Brighton to find husbands.

I haven't read the first book of this series and I was able to enjoy this book. I will have to go back and read it though to see Imogen's story that was apparently taking place at the same time.

This is a sexy book so I word of caution if you don't like that.

Cerise DeLand’s “Lady, Behave” (Naughty Ladies Book 2) is wonderful addition to the series.

Lady Adelaide Devereaux is the second triplet making her London debut into polite society in this charming book. Deciding she’ll kiss everyone she’s interested in until she finds the one to set her soul afire. A chance visit to the apothecary she meets Gyles Whitmore, The Marquess of Heath who suffers from headaches. Having perfected a headache syrup sold there perhaps she can help Gyles. The attraction is instant and it turns out Gyles is more than willing to kiss an be kissed. Having found one another these two have are ready to face the future together. Why, oh why must we be judged by the deeds of others? Because of a questionable deal between Addy‘s grandfather and Gyles father his family finds her unacceptable. Family scandal and objections tend to throw a damper on things and call for a plan. Oh then there’s the little matter of abduction to contend with.

Cerise DeLand is a favorite of mine whether it be Regency or WW periods. I enjoyed Addy and Gyles story. This is a well written, lighthearted and exciting read. With a wonderful storyline, excellent writing and dialogue, and simply charming characters the author brings another fine story.

Thank you so much Ms. DeLand for delightfully entertaining love story..
