She's kissing all the frogs.

Adelaide is determined to kiss all the boys before settling.
Gyles is happy to do the kissing, as he certainly has kissed many other girls )an way more).
Oddly, he's to get his parents permission to woo her? That was way more far fetched.

Lady Adelaide Devereaux, Addy to her family and close friends, has made her way to London for the Season. She and her sisters are excited and apprehensive at making their debut to polite society. However, Lady Adelaide has a secret-she has perfected a few healing medications. A visit to the Apothecary leads to a meeting with Gyles Whitmore, The Marquess of Heath and his mother. The Duchess of Stonegage is not impressed with Lady Addy’s heritage, in fact, she is appalled that her son is enamored with the young lady.
Addy and Gyles are immediately smitten and are attempting a courtship while attempting to correct the rumors that have started. But what matters most is brought to Gyles attention when Abby disappears.
This is a great second book in this series. I really enjoyed the dialogue between the two main characters and the surprising plot twists.

Will her family’s scandal doom them all …

Due to lack of time I missed the first book in this series, why I was determined to find a moment for this one. It is release day, but I was finally able to read it last night.
As the second book, I knew I missed a bit of the previous story’s hints. Still it was a cute tale of instalove and am the ups and downs of not being seen as good enough on the heroine’s side by her suitor’s family.
All because her grand-father was not seen as proper in the ton’s book, she and her sisters are labeled as wanton and undeserving of respects.
She is lady of assured opinions, not afraid to do a bit of research to be such to make the right choice.
Gyles is immediately smitten with Adelaide, her spunk and lively persona. So he won’t listen to his parents’ objections, yet to overcome their resistance, the journey won’t be easy.

A quick light read of insta-love.

The Devereaux triplets have come from Ireland to Brighton with their cousin Cass, ready for their first season and finding husbands. Laurel, Imogen, and Adelaide are quite different from one another. Laurel is a worrier. Imogen is cheerful. Adelaide is a little of both, hopeful.

When Adelaide and Gyles, Marquess of Heath, meet, they know immediately they were made for each other. The path to their happy future has a bump or two in it. Namely his father who apparently had a questionable deal with her grandfather, and a weaselly little curate with no brains who wants Adelaide for himself. What is needed is a good plan and a daring rescue. Then it’s on to happily ever after. An entertaining story with some excitement, humor, and a cast of marvelous characters. A winner!

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

The Irish triplets are still in Brighton and enjoying the season with their cousin Lady Cass Downs. Full of life and enjoying the social season, finds that they need a medication for terrible headaches. Adelaide goes to a small chemist’s shop in need of more headache syrup; that with the addition of a small amount of ingredients, has helped her cousin. While there, she meets Gyles, Marquess of Heath and his mother. They also are in want of a headache syrup and a connection is made. Of course, Gyles’s mother does not approve of the Devereaux triplets due to a long-lost portrait of a relative of his father. Somehow, Addy’s Irish grandfather ended up with it in his possession. Unknown to Addy, the Marquess ‘s family believes that it had been stolen from them by her notorious grandfather. Now the adventure begins and how will she prove to society that they are not guilty of the crimes of their grandfather? I enjoyed the second book, and I am looking forward to the next adventure. Always interesting and full of adventure.

Miss Adelaide Devereaux is one of the triplets considered diamonds for the season in Brighton. A chance encounter at a chemist's shop, she is introduced to Gyles Whitmore, the Marquess of Heath and his mother, the Duchess of Stonegage. Addy learns of Gyles lightening headaches developed from his three years in the French prison of Verdun. She's got the solutions to help him. In a short time, Gyles has made up his mind he wants to marry Addy. She has already made up her mind she wants Gyles, but she wants him to prove their compatibility with a kiss, which leads to more kisses. The misdeeds of her grandfather are preventing Gyles from getting his father's consent for the marriage, but Gyles has a plan. Not very complex to read, even though the timeline is the same for this book and Book #1.
For some reason it reads to me like there are a few gaps in time.
Heat level 3.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

An good read with steamy romantic scenes. The journey to happily ever after is not smooth when one has to contend with scandals, family objections, bad timing and abduction. Luckily, everything can be overcomed.

Adelaide Devereaux, the youngest triplet, flabbergasts most men she meets. She’s a Diamond, petite, mild-mannered—the perfect picture of a demure lady. She has one ambition—to kiss every man she likes until she finds one whose lips make her hear church bells chime. In Brighton, she meets confirmed bachelor Gyles, Marquis of Heath, who is felled by her charm. Though he vows to kiss her until she's felt the earth turn on its axis, he cannot claim her unless he fixes his parents’ refusal to accept her. They’re too high in the instep to accept a wayward Irish lass who’s the granddaughter of a notorious rascal.
The second of the triplets to find love, the book could be read on its own but it takes place in the same timeframe as book one so some events do overlap. I’m loving the Devereaux sisters who are feisty, independent & just a joy. I loved both Gyles & Addy & thoroughly enjoyed their story. The chemistry between the pair was sizzling & things did move quickly. A well written, well paced book which was engrossing & I read it in a sitting, I just wished it had been longer
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Adelaide one of three sisters who are staying with their cousin for the season loves to mix herbs and helps to make remedies for headaches and other ailment, is quite a sassy young lady who knows her own mind. Whilst visiting one of the remedy shops, comes across Giles Whitmore, Marquess of Heath. Giles is at once attracted to her but his mother who was with him at the time realises she is the granddaughter of the Earl of Barry who is thought to be an art thief immediately disapproves of her.

Giles a confirmed bachelor and rake makes his own decisions and decides that Adelaide is the one he wants and there begins their less than usual courtship. Giles does suffer from terrible headaches but Adelaide makes him laugh and help with them. Adelaide has lots of suitors in the past and finds that Giles kisses are the ones dreams are made off!

A lovely, wonderful romantic story with a few twists, some steamy moments with a happy ever after. Well worth a read. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I will definitely read more of her books.

Adelaide Devereaux, granddaughter of the late Earl of Barry, has recently arrived in England with her sisters to find a proper husband. She meets Gyles, Marquess of Heath, in an apothecary as he seeks a remedy for blinding headaches. Addy is knowledgeable about creating elixirs for various maladies, often assisting the apothecary owner with his potions. From the time they first meet, Gyles and Addy begin to fall for one another and both come to know they've met their destined match.

Gyles has been finding that the lifestyle of a rake is not enough. He's looking for serenity and good companionship with laughter and enjoyable conversation. He wants a future with Addy but first needs to overcome the disapproval his parents show their potential marriage. Addy carries the burden of her grandfather's dishonorable reputation though she wants nothing more than to marry Gyles.

Strong and sassy, Addy knows she is so much more than a beautiful lady. She values her thought, ambition and talent, making her a great female protagonist. I love how Gyles looks beyond her outer beauty, appreciating her wit and intelligence. It's also heartwarming to see how his presence provides Addy with feelings of comfort and safety. He never stops fighting for her and is determined to make her his wife, proving love conquers all.

I wish the book was longer, however, to give some of the plot points room to be more thoroughly expanded upon. I also would have liked to see the romance burn more slowly as opposed to the instant feelings of love and the sudden transition from innocent attraction to fiery passion yet the relationship was still delightfully steamy. The secondary characters, especially Addy's sisters, should have been further fleshed out so I could have become more invested in them as well. Regardless of the obstacles this couple faced and the issues I had with the story, I never once doubted Gyles and Addy would find their HEA.

“I will always find you, my sweet. You are my own.”

Quick read! Addy is the third sister of a set of triplets and is instantly attracted to Gyles, the Marquess of Heath. He's amazed with her beauty and intelligence upon meeting her at the apothecary. They meet again at a ball and are instantly smitten. Even though his parents don't approve, he decides to court her anyway. Cute, fluffy, fun.

Lady, Behave by Cerise DeLand is the second book of the Naughty Ladies series. Adelaide Devereaux has one ambition—to kiss every man she likes until she finds the one. When she meets Gyles, Marquess of Heath, he is taken with her. He vows to fix his parents’ approval of her.

This book is super quick to read. I would have liked it to be a bit longer, though, so I could connect with the characters more.
