Every time I open a Book Club Kit I never know what We Are Bookish's imagination will present and this time its the inclusion of A playlist that makes my imagination sing. I think it could be a great way to being the member's world into the books and show the inclusion that my group is by having a listen along. Each person brings their own addition of one track tot his playlist.

I loved All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir. I have a couple of copies in my classroom library, and I recommend it to my 9th and 10th grade students all the time. It’s also a great option for a coming of age book club unit. I think this book club kit is great— I love that there’s an interview with Sabaa Tahir and the questions are great. The bookmarks and playlist are an additional way for students to engage with the book.

Would the publisher consider selling a bundle of these kits that are centered around the same theme? For example, this year I did a fantasy unit that included the following titles based on myths: Children of Blood and Bone, Where the Dark Stands Still, Six Crimson Cranes, and Ember in the Ashes. It would be amazing if I had one of these kits for each of these titles. I think there’s a great opportunity to create these in bundles according to theme. A few book club kit for books that center on coming of age, a few book club kits for books that center on generational stories, a few book club kits that center on historical fiction, etc.

I finished this book a couple of months ago but it's constantly on my mind and I've still been working through all of the feelings it made me feel. Nobody in my circle reads books like this so I didn't really have anyone to discuss it with either. Which is a shame because this book is so thought provoking and is meant to be discussed, in my opinion.

I found this kit while looking through NetGalley and it really helped me finally process and think through my thoughts and feelings related to this amazing story. I'm planning on rereading the book soon and am super excited to make the chai and kulfi to have while reading.
