Overall a really comprehensive guide to supporting those in recovery and what that process may look like. This is something I anticipate being helpful to those who work with people in almost any capacity.

Sometimes it felt the author got too caught on one topic but overall it was a good read and an approachable way to cover what can be a heavy subject.

Thank you, North South Books, for the advance reading copy.

An important book for someone in dire need of such information. And we do need such books. There will never be enough material to read about when it comes to health and social related themes and topics.

I applaud the author and the team for putting in all the efforts and reliable information on such a big but sensitive issue of addiction and recovery.

As opposed to the general notion of being such books as "too serious" and "difficult to read", this book is a milestone. It's written in such a way that young readers, beginners and everyone else. This book will be helpful even for the professionals and guardians in the long run.

The book deals with the very basics of the topic: what it is about, what we are dealing with, what we are doing about it and what we can do about it.

A very thorough yet thoughtful guide on anyone who wants to learn about recovery and understand addiction with reliable and relevant sources, this book is a must have and a must read, specially for guardians, teachers and medical personnel. You will get to learn a great deal about the options anyone can choose and the possibilities available.

Thank you for bringing out this important book.
