Visiting Red Stone Security and the ever growing family of operatives is always a pleasure read.

Lawson has his job cut out, “Guarding Her”, his life and heart, and trying very hard not to fall for her. But the heart wants what a heart wants, and Lawson is head over heels in love with his friend’s sister, Gia.

Here’s a best friends turned lovers romance and throw in a stalker, and the danger ramps up. Family and Red Stone band together to keep Gia safe, keeping her under the protection of Lawson, and a step towards a life together.

This light and quick read from Katie Reus is perfect for the romantic at heart.

Katie Reus gives her readers another page turning drama we always look for in her romantic suspense stories. The 18th book in the Red Stone Security Series, each book is a standalone with a differing couple, giving readers that aha moment. With Lawson keeping an eye on Gia, who happens to be his best friend's little sister, he finds it hard to stay within the limits that best friends seem to have. He discovers that she feels the same, but his first priority is keeping her safe from a stalker. I found their story hard to put down from page one, until the last page as they reached their HEA. Romantic suspense is my favorite books to read and Katie Reus is one the best when it comes to the genre. **I was gifted "Guarding Her" via NetGalley leaving my review based on my reading.** 5 Stars!

Gia and Lawson’s story was awesome! I liked that Gia was an artist and illustrator. Lawson was another Red Stone Security guy. I wasn’t as invested in this book as the Redemption Harbor books because I’m not up to date on the series. I need to go back and read from the beginning.

This was an enjoyable read but not my favorite. I love this series, but this one didn't have the same feel as the rest of the series. The pace of the book felt slow and seemed to take a while to move. The characters and romance were great as usual. If you love the series don't let me dissuade you from reading this book. If you are new to the series, I don't think I would start with this one.

GUARDING HER is action-packed and amazing! Lawson and Gia are almost the perfect star-crossed lovers, as it seems everything is against them.

Being a viral sensation isn't all it's cracked up to be!

Gia is just being her helpful self, modelling a couple of things for her new in-laws. But even before the video went viral strange things were happening to her. But when the video really takes hold it seems to fire up her stalker and things escalate quickly. With her brother on his honeymoon, she is loathe to involve anyone but Lawson is having none of that!

Lawson knows that Gia is something special but as his friend and colleague's little sister he's made her off-limits. But when the stalker doesn't back off, he's left with no other option but to get involved. And then there is less and less chance of him escaping without falling for Gia!

Another great read in the Red Stone Security Series. Plenty of twists and the chemistry is on point between the MC's

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC. I enjoyed the main story with Gia and Lawson and wanted even more of them! The mystery was good and had a nice twist. There were a couple other POVs and another story line with the sister in law Clarita that I feel like didn’t really fit into this story. It wasn’t a bad story line just seemed completely random and out of nowhere.

Gia has been doing some swimwear modeling because her friend designed the suits. When she starts to get phone calls and stalking from someone, she puts in a request that Lawson be her bodyguard. Lawson works with her brother, and is best friends with him. Awkward of course, as he feels he shouldn't have feelings for Gia but he does. Good story, although did skim the creepy (glad they were short) chapters from the stalker/killer. Don't really like being in their head, but that may just be me. Would recommend this book and author.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was steamy, action-packed and held my interest. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by this series.

An introvert's worst nightmare: going viral. Gia's unexpected fame comes with a side helping of stalker. But it's Lawson to the rescue! Aside from his hidden attraction to her and his belief that she's forbidden, what could possibly go wrong when they are thrown together from the danger that she unexpectedly finds herself in. A fun and passionate story with a twist to the genre of "best friend's younger sister" trope.

A keep on your toes, feel good romance. Page turner that can be read in one sitting. I am looking forward to more of the characters and this series.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This is in the Red Stone Security series but the book can be read as a standalone - which is great.

Gia and Lawson have been attracted to each other but Lawson just won't cross the line of dating his best friend;s sister and Gia just thinks that Lawson is not interested.

When Gia's life is threatened, they are thrown together to keep her safe. This is hard on Lawson and he finally admits that he is interested in her but of course Gia's brother is not happy about that!

There is a lot of drama, action, suspense, and romance as Gia and Lawson dance around this attraction. Add in the side story of Clarita and her drama, and I could not put this book down until I got to the end. Sorry, no spoilers but will just say that I am glad there was a happy ending for all.

My only complaint is that this story wasn't longer. I loved it! Every book in this series is fresh and has excellent characters. There are appearances by new and old. It's a sexy romantic suspense that also keeps you guessing. Lawson and Gia were great. The mystery kept me guessing and boy was I wrong. I can't wait for more. This is one of my must read series and authors.

Katie Reus has the ability to write a romance that has loveable characters that will pull at readers heart strings. The story is a stand-alone but can be read as part of the Red Stone Series. The story takes what is going on around readers every day and uses it to tell a suspense romance that readers will be able to read at the beach at the pool or right before bed.

Katie Reus is able to quickly paint a perfect picture as well as bring readers up to speed with the past characters without slowing down the story. This is a perfect addition to the Red Stone Security series.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for advance copy of Guarding Her by Katie Reus.

Guarding Her is the 18th book in Katie Reus’s Red Stone Security series, but each is a stand-alone title. However, this series introduced me to this author, and I’ve loved every Red Stone Security book to date. If you’re looking for a great romantic suspense series to binge, I highly recommend this one!

There’s a reason Katie Reus is one of my go-to authors for romantic suspense. She consistently delivers quality stories with wonderfully heartfelt characters and engaging and sexy suspense. I know when I pick up one of her books, I had better have a lot of free time because I will not want to put it down, and Guarding Her was no exception. This story had an extra element of a secondary couple’s story which really added to the overall enjoyment for me. As always, I’m excited for what’s next from this author!

A slow burn kind of romance. They both have feelings for each other but are afraid to tell each other because of their family. The threat is constantly there, but building up in intensity as you continue to read this story. Love this Red Stone Security Family. He moves from a friend and protector to her happily ever after. Loved Lawson and Gia and made me smile about Paisley and Rico, and wonderful for Clarita, phew!

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Gia and Lawson. Lawson’s sense of duty to Gia’s brother keeps these two apart for a bit. Lots of action. It’s great to see Red Stone Security again, and some familiar faces. Gia gets herself a stalker, and Lawson is just the man to guard her. HEA.

This is the first book I read from this author and I really like it!!
After a video of her modeling her friend’s new clothing line goes viral, Gia suddenly finds herself thrust into the spotlight. She never wanted fame—she was just having fun and helping a friend. Unfortunately, now she’s got a target on her back. Someone out there will do anything to destroy her. Someone who wants her dead. As his best friend’s sister, Gia is off limits. She’s also the woman of Lawson’s dreams—and hottest fantasies. When she’s targeted by a vicious stalker, all bets are off. As a Red Stone Security expert, he’ll keep her safe at any cost. What he doesn’t know is how he’s going to keep her out of his bed, because he’s never wanted anyone as badly as he wants her.
This romance is easy to read and entertaining. What I liked most about it was the bond between them. It was quite emotional and sweet. The dialogs were engaging and the characters well developed and real. I loved Lawson. He is a natural protector and a gentleman. He knows he’s head over heels in love with Gia and does everything to protect her. Clarita and Carlos’s side story was a nice touch.
I’d have loved a few more sexy times and all the stalker situation was a bit absurd to me. But I read it really fast and enjoyed it.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Guarding Her is Red Stone Security number eighteen by Katie Reus. This best friend’s sister so hands off story takes off as soon as the video of Gia. From that moment on the action does not slow down. Of course, Lawson Red Stone Security expert tries his best to protect Gia while slowing down any romance between the two. Impossible since true love will win out.

The story has a subplot of a married couple that is just as intriguing as Lawson’s and Gia’s story. Both plots kept me reading. Being romantic suspense I knew that Gia would be protected in the end but wasn’t so sure of how the married couple’s subplot would conclude. Both ended as I had hoped. However, not without several twists and surprises in the story.

Great to see Red Stone Security again. No need to read the books in order. Guarding Her stands completely on its own. But I bet you can’t read just one. Start with Guarding Her today.

4.5 Stars
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A great series that keeps adding more to the world each time.

One thing I like about this series is that the world is so varied and through each story, whilst it’s absolutely focused on the journey of the key couple, we usually get some form of bonus by the means of other characters either progressing their relationships, meeting or even (in the case of this one) navigating their own marriage difficulties.

Lawson and Gia are a great couple, Lawson respectful of Gia and mindful of the difficulties him being her brothers best friend might bring, and Gia knowing what she wants and going for it full steam, whilst appreciating Lawsons feelings at the same time.
I liked to “peril” element to this story and how Gia and Juans backgrounds were fleshed out a little more (not done previously as Juan and Angel were a background story in the previous 2 books)

A fun read and I continue to look forward to further instalments in this epic series
