I love this series that highlights the scientific accomplishments of those who have historically been marginalized by the scientific community. A great story to keep kids thinking and considering problems solving processes.

I know my review is too short, but here it is: I love this series, but Bahni Turpin's narration is nonpareil! Excellent choice for narrator!

The nest book in the Questioneers series is a good one! When Ada's friends Sofia and Iggy think there is a pet thief loose in their town, Ada uses the scientific method to figure out what's going on. I loved that the story walks readers through how to use science/evidence to solve a problem. My children loved listening to the story and trying to figure out what would happen next! This is a great book for young scientists, particularly 2nd - 4th graders.

“It’s not scientific to jump to conclusions. We need more facts.”
One of my favorite things about Ada is she is always asking questions and the grownups in her life are okay with it! My family loved listening to this story together and will need to order the hard copy asap because my kids are itching to see the illustrations! The voice actor was phenomenal and definitely added to the story for us!

Clever and entertaining. I love this set of stories. It’s great there is a chapter book for the older children that also enjoy these stories.

Another great Ada Twist book. My daughter said she loves this book and learning new things from Ada Twist. This book is perfect for Kindergarten thru 3rd graders to listen!

Absolutely LOVE this book and the fact that Ada looks like my babies and she gives them a girl in STEM to look at. We reviewed and enjoyed the audiobook version and highly recommend to all families, especially those with little girls to add to their library.
The narration is enjoyable. The voices are varying and have depth to make the narration enjoyable rather than the usual humdrum. You can feel emotion in the voices.

Overall, I thought the book itself was a good addition to the series. I was not a fan of the audiobook. It was not engaging and did not make me want to listen to it.

My kids (and I) love the Ada Twist books, and this was another great addition to the series! As the mystery unfolded, we had fun theorizing what was causing pets to disappear. We also really enjoy the recurring characters who’ve had their own individual books like Iggy, Sophia, Rosie, and Aaron. Listening to the audiobook was a new “twist” for us, and the narration was fun and well done!
Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful book for my twins to read/listen to. Although they are probably a little younger than the intended audience, having the audiobook was a great way for them to continuing to learn along with Ada!

I only actively listened to parts of this book as I had it on in the car while I was driving. My daughter initially expressed disappointment over the format, and that she couldn't read it on her kindle. However, after a few minutes, she became engaged with the story and wanted to keep listening to see what happened next. She loved how Ada Twist wanted to help Ms. Good. This book features Ada Twist and her friends using the scientific method to solve the mystery of the disappearing dogs. My daughter loves the catchy tune of the scientific method song, and loves how they brainstormed. The song helps her remember all of the steps of the scientific method. I love that it exposes girls to math and STEM, and makes it accessible and fun. I highly recommend this book to fans of Ada Twist, as well as those looking for books involving female characters passionate about STEM.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this free ARC in exchange for the honest review.

Audiobook received for free through NetGalley

I only listened to the first bit and the end. That said my girls listened while playing with slime and kinetic sand. They absolutely loved being able to listen to the book while playing. In their words the book “is the best book”.

Ada Twist is a great educational tool for children, Our kids enjoy these stories and I enjoyed listening to this with our younger two. I love how the author walks through the steps of solving. Problem. The steps work even if it isn’t a scientific problem.

The narration was great and I enjoy the extras at the end of the story. This is an easy listen for kids. Chapters are short iso if you need to pause you can easily do so.

Thank you NetGalley and Andrea Beaty for the opportunity to listen to this book.

When her friends’ dogs go missing, they are convinced that there is a dognapper in the neighborhood. Ada isn’t so sure, though, and uses the scientific method to determine what has happened to the missing dogs.

This was a cute story that readers starting chapter books will surely enjoy! I love that it features a girl who enjoys STEM and hope Ada will encourage more girls to enjoy math and science in school. Bahni Turpin did a magnificent job narrating the audiobook.

Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an audio ARC of this book.

I love listening to audio books in the car, but I have a seven year old daughter so I have to be careful of what I listen to as she is also listening. I am always so excited to have an audio book we can listen to together. My daughter loves math and science and enjoys all of the Ada Twist books and this one was no different. The narration was fun and easy to listen to and the story was engaging for both my daughter and me. I love that these books add in such a lesson about science and investigating things before you come to a conclusion. They mystery aspect kept my daughter engaged and the narrator's voices were great.

I would highly recommend these books and this audio book for anyone with a child who likes listening to audio books with their child. Thank you to Dreamscape Media for the advanced listening copy in exchange for an honest review.

*service dog listen to while mom did some work.

The narrators voice was fitting to the story, we enjoyed the story, but not sure a chapter book is a fit for us, as he is a dog and after chapter 4-5 he was a little restless. I would purchase this for my nieces for sure.

Why is a children's book about to put me in a book slump? I love reading Ada Twist and other books by Andrea Beaty to my littles. This was just too wonderful. Besides the fun mystery for kids, there were also great lessons about the scientific method and the importance of investigating things for yourself, listening to a variety of sources, and coming to your own conclusions.

The audiobook was narrated by Bahni Turpin who is a favorite of mine. She did not disappoint! Amazing, as usual.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

The children and I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Ada Twist is a favorite here! I loved the message her grandma gave about not just doing or believing things because someone else does. The book was cute and to the point. It kept the children's interest.
