I always enjoy reading these sampler books to help me find any upcoming releases that I want to add to my reading list. There were a few books that I enjoyed the sample of and look forward to reading the full book once released.

Thank you for the sampler! Lots of interesting titles.
Looking forward in particular to Rafael Frumkin's Confidence and Krystal Marquis' The Davenports.

It was great to see the books that have buzz this fall/winter. We All Want Impossible Things by Catherine Newman and Wolf Hustle by Cin Fabre especially caught my eye.

This book was full of what is coming, but I wish I was able to jump to different sections easier. Perhaps this dissertation is best used in a more interactive feature where one could cross reference what is coming. Also, what was the methodology of selecting which books received the "buzz."

This is my first time getting one of these previews and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved getting to sample so many books and any wait to read some all the way through. Great collection of goodies coming our way.

Really appreciated this preview. I requested titles by Kevin Wilson and Mohsin Hamid, and I was given both!

BUZZ BOOKS 2022 was such a helpful resource in considering what new arrivals to request on NetGalley and to promote to my audience. I liked how the books were organized by genre category as it made it easy to find my most anticipated reads. As I was browsing through the anticipated arrivals, I am most looking forward to Matthew Perry's forthcoming memoir as well as Kate Atkinson's new novel, Shrines of Gaiety.

Thank you for putting together this valuable resource and putting these upcoming releases on my radar! I'm excited to talk about these new books on all of my social media platforms.

**Thank you to NetGalley and the various publishers for this sampler. This in no way changed my thoughts**

This is an overwhelming amount of samples that I think would've been better served being separated into their various parts (Fiction, Debut, Nonfiction, and YA). I downloaded for the 10 YA samples and was disappointed that they were all books I already had from NetGalley (The Nightbirds, Monsters Born and Made, The Davenports), books I had already requested from NetGalley (Well That Was Unexpected), or books from authors I'm not interested in to begin with (ex. Mariko Tamiki). The one real exception was the second in a series that I haven't read yet and it's Middle Grade. It would've been beneficial to include a list of ALL the titles instead of some of them and then requiring you to download to find the full list.

I will say I read the excerpt for The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks-Dalton and decided to "read now" that story, so it's not all bad. It's just too many excerpts.

I also don't approve of James Patterson being added to this list and not only that, but twice. Tell me again, James, about "how hard" it is for you to get work, especially when you don't write your own books but you're being paid like you do? Authors that big do not need samplers like this to hype them up. One chapter isn't going to be enough to sate the fans and the spots could've gone to some other books that were starting to generate some buzz or needed the boost.

There's a little bit of something for everyone, but I think it would've been better to separate them into smaller chunks so it wasn't so overwhelming.
