It sure was fun riding along on Hale’s investigation adventure! This was a light read and I highly recommend.

Hale is an expert at helping people out of jams but when she is approached by a princess Hale is reluctant to take the case. Why would she be reluctant to help a princess???? Well probably because the missing person that the princess wants her to find is non other than her ex=-boyfriend, NFL superstar quarterback Bryce Stone who Hale is still in love with despite her best intentions. No matter how much Hale resists she still takes the case. Hale is quickly transported to none other than San Diego to look for her long lost ex. Once Hale finally finds Bryce and things seem to return to normal then Bryce is arrested for murder. Hale doesn't believe it for a minute and sets out to clear his name.

This is a mystery about a six year old relationship between Hale and Bryce that was over but still is messing up the life of Bryce. He has a new fiancee with newborn twins but all of a sudden he life is off the rails. Hale tries to he!p but she is just in the way.

Murder, blackmail, betrayal, cat fight and understanding of a six year old mystery brings the story to a HEA for Bryce and self awareness to Hale. G

The fourth book in the Hale Mary Mysteries Series, but can be read as a stand-alone.

Hale is hired to find the missing fiance of a European princess, who happens to also be Hale's ex-boyfriend, Bryce Stone, and she isn't quite over him.

I found this an enjoyable read. I was expecting a bit of romance in this book, with the mention of the ex-boyfriend, but it focused more on Hale digging deeper into Bryce's relationships with old friends, and seeing what happened to cause him to disappear.

I'm not a sports fan, but that didn't take away from this story. Pretty story and mystery. The characters were interesting to watch, too. I'll have to circle back to the other books in the series.

The Trouble With Exes was hysterical. Hale, is hired to find her ex, Bryce, who has been missing. Her work partner and best friend, Norma, is helping her. The banter back and forth between Hale and Norma always made me laugh. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down. A must read that will put a smile on your face.

This book really makes me want to read the first books about Hale.

I think my favorite character, though, is best friend Norma! Her "talk to me, Goose" is perfection!

I liked all the story's twists and turns. Kyle is adept at keeping the reader guessing (and reading).

Good fun and a great main character in Hale. The mystery side of this book is easy to follow and the humour and awkward circumstances are really what make it a fun read.

This book was a page turner. I enjoyed reading the exciting mystery as our woman detective sought to locate her missing ex. The memories she faces along the way are at times rather humerus.

Not a book I would normally pick up to read, but one I truly enjoyed

The Trouble With Exes by Katrina Kyle is the forth book in Hale Mary Mysteries but it can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book in the series I have read and I enjoyed it very much. I had no problem following the story even though I could tell there was more history between the characters then it showed in this installment.

It didn't deter from the story at all. It was easy to read, fast paced, at times quite entertaing and at times somewhat dark and handling serious issues. A very good blend in my opinion.

Main characters are extremely likeable and relatable with all their flaws and problems.
Clues are easy to follow and clearly displayed for readers to follow along. The mystery is well presented and all in all this is an enjoyable and pleasurable read.

I will go back and read this series from the beginning.

Good book! This book wasn't A heart pumping thriller, but it was good anyway! it had light suspense, intrigue, the storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my kindle! All Hale the one who couldn't get over an ex. Hale and Hearty is healthy. Hale and stalkerish is not very healthy at all. This is quite a book. Norma is my fave character. Her snappy wit and in-your-face demeanor make her just a jewel. Hale is the heroine and has the trouble with an ex. The trouble seems to be that her life revolves around an ex.

This book has a mystery that is wrapped in an enigma. The fan of a difficult-to-figure-out mystery will love this book. Here, the author has created a storyline that will keep a reader on their toes.

The depth of character-building is impressive. The 'what will happen next' will keep the pages turning. A book for anyone who has checked out their ex on social media...just because they are 'curious'. A book for fans of mystery and romance. A book for fans of women trying to find their way in the world.

Trouble with Exes was a fun read. Hale Seton is the main character who is in business with her partner Nora Diaz. Their business is Pivot Partners, Inc. which specialize in talent management. They are taking a course to be PI's. They live in Denver, CO. Hale is hung up on her ex-boyfriend, Bryce Stone. He is engaged to marry Princess Adriana who just had twins. Bryce has gone to San Diego but does not return home and is missing. This is where the story takes off with suspicion, rumors, jealousy, kidnapping, misidentification, etc. Hale has to come to terms with the secrets of her relationship with Bryce. Adriana meets with Hale and wants her to help find Bryce and had Rick Carrington, the family lawyer hire Hale and Nora to find him. They go to San Diego and all kinds of things start to happen. The story takes the reader on an adventure of trying to find Bryce to the surprising climax and ending.,

Quirky, quick read, suspenseful with funny characters that will entertain.

A quick read with a good mix of humor, mystery, and relationships. Hired to look for an ex-boyfriend is awkward enough, but as the story unfolds, even more complications arise for Hale Mary.
