Into the Forest is a collection of stories about Baba Yaga. It contains a wide variety of stories, from prose to poetry, modern retellings to classic tales.

There were certainly a few standouts, as well as a few duds, but for the most part, the stories were just okay.

(I wonder if "Stork Bites" will still be featured in the final publication, considering current events.)

Into the Forest is a collection of short stories, by various authors, that explores the myth of Baba Yaga.
I thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these stories. I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end, and I’m so glad I read this collection on a whim. Baba Yaga is explored from many angles and attitudes, and there’s definitely something here for everyone. The quality of writing and editing was wonderful, and not a single story disappointed in any regard.
4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks so much to NetGalley and the Publisher/Authors for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
