Ricochet is so short but it solidified my love for Lilly. I was hurting along side her in this book but I was also so proud of her. I couldn't imagine having to go any amount of time without my soul mate but she made it through the other side and was doing so much better on her own throughout it. Not to mention how proud I am of Lo for going and getting the help he needed. I love these characters!!! Thank you Krista and Becca for writing such real and messy characters.

Book 2 is just as good as the first book in the series, Addicted To You. I love being back in the world of Lily and Lo and everyone else in their lives. This is such a strong series that I highly recommend.

I first read this book in March 2021 and here’s what I had to say: Just like the first one, this book started very slow. I wasn’t super interested in the story until I was about 60% into the book. The rest of the book was okay, but I was kind of bored. Lo and Lily were separated for a majority of the book because he had left for rehab at the end of book 1. There was a lot more explaining than things actually happening. However, once I got past the hump, I enjoyed the rest of the book! There were a lot more things going on and it became more fast paced. We did get a better glimpse of her sister Daisy and another side of Ryke we haven’t seen yet, as well as continuing to see Rose and Conner (who I loved since book 1). I’m also told that the first two books are important to understand the characters, so here’s to hoping book 3 is great!

Now on July 2022: loved the bonus content! Super fun. After finishing the series, I’ve come to appreciate this book and find it important for the story overall.

This book moved quick but slow. I will say a lot of growth and growing 🌱 is happening here and accepting the need for help + getting help. Love Lily & Lo.

But I wanted Lo…I miss him and his “loves”. He is so good for Lily and patient and supportive and non-judgmental 😭 these fools are going to murder me.

Really loved Connor & Rose (why does that man just understand her so well UGH deceased he’ll end me too I just know it), already getting too hyped for their books plus Daisy & Ryke, I see you!

Repeating “my tears ricochet” by TS 🎧 cursing my name, wishing I could stayed. look at how my tears ricochet.

I have always been a fan of this series but I had the absolute best time re reading it! And the bonus content was so cute and much needed. I could read about the core 6 for forever! They deserve the world!!!

I loved reading this and getting an update on the progress Lily & Lo have both made.
I always see so much hype about this series and I finally understand why. I’m happy to have gotten this copy woth the extra bonus material for my first time reading the series as the bonus material truly made a difference.

This book feels like a filler book, just to make the series longer.

But i loved it nonetheless, although I did miss Lo in the first half.
But I did start to fall even more for Ryke as he appeared a lot in this one!

I'm going to start this review a little backwards since this book was originally self-published in 2013 and is now almost ten years later is going to be traditionally published with bonus content. It's that bonus content I'm going to start with. If you have already read or own Ricochet and are looking forward to a lot of new bonus content, you're not going to get it. The bonus content is short collection of letters. It is fun, but just a few pages. I was expecting more. Maybe I shouldn't have been since this book is really a novella.

Okay. Now here's my original review for Ricochet. I thought I might need to make some changes from when I originally wrote this review, but it stood up in my reread of this book.

Gosh. This book was a(nother) heartbreaker. Seriously. Poor Lily. She’s dealing with so much in Ricochet. Lo’s left for rehab, and she’s alone with her addiction. His absence is tearing her apart, but she knows his recovery is a matter of life or death. Now she has to believe in herself and lean on Rose, Connor and Ryke when she needs help.

I have to admit Ricochet was stressful to read. I had anxiety right along with Lily. The authors’ portrayal of her addiction and all that went with it was so raw and emotional. I kept having to give myself little breaks to recover from everything I was feeling before I could read more. I just felt so awful for her. I feel weird saying I enjoyed getting this view into Lily’s personality and addiction, but I did. It definitely helped me understand her better.

Ricochet wasn’t all depressing. The few interactions between Lo and Lily were so sweet. And there were so many fun moments between some of the other characters! I loved the tension between the two smarty-pants Rose and Connor. The love-hate thing they had going on was cute. Daisy and Ryke were fun, too. Despite their age difference putting me on edge, I loved their flirty banter. There was also a touching moment when Ryke comes to Lily’s aid.

Overall, Ricochet was the perfect bridge between Addicted to You and Addicted for Now. It strengthened my love for all of the characters, their relationships and made me excited for the next book.

3.5/5 stars! This series is everything. I’ve never been so attached to a group of characters before. Ricochet was overall such a great follow-up to Addicted to You. I loved seeing Lily and Lo make progress, even though we were missing Lo during the first half of the book. I love this series so much. Also, the bonus material was amazing!

The only reason I didn't rate this book higher is because this book was definitely more of a filler novel

I first read this series about 2 years ago when it was indie published and I loved it. When I heard that it was picked up by a publisher and it was going to include new bonus content, I knew I had to get a new copy for myself and a couple for our library.

I would consider this book a 'novella', I feel like it is the book that connects Addicted to You and Addicted for Now. It is all in Lily's point of view and how she survived the couple of months away from Loren. I really love it, you also get more scenes with both of her sisters, Rose and Daisy. They become main characters later in this series and they also have their own books.
