The first few paragraphs got my attention and kept me reading into the night.
Kerr a highlander on a task for his clan arrives at Queen Elizabeth's castle only to come across Maggie who is being accosted and needs help.
Charming, clever, and fun characters; except for the cast of traitorous villains.
The mystery plot is fast paced, witty, exhilarating, and many shocking situations.
The tender romance is slow building with many over whelming struggles.
The shocking also thrilling ending was not what I was expecting. Excellent.
