I absolutely adore Leslie North books I think she is really cool and the way she writes is absolutely amazing. I also absolutely love cowboy romances so this was kind of a match made in heaven. It was everything I wanted from the book. It was sure it was sweet. it was fun is a great pick me up, especially with reading slump. This definitely got me back into reading again so I would 100% recommend and I will be reading more of the series going forward.

This is a fun story and I enjoyed it for the most part. I tend to enjoy a bit more emotion in my romance novels and I enjoy beautiful angst! Sadly this book lacked both and I found it to drag in some areas. The conflict just wasn’t angsty enough for me and the resolution came way to easy.

Thank you for the opportunity to read & review this story. My feedback was optional.

This story was ok with all of the characters. The two main characters were Zoe Wilson and Jake Cafferty.

Zoe Wilson does website designing. When her friend ask her to help them with design their website page she happy to help. But she didn't expect to see her first love there.

Jake Cafferty is have money problem with the ranch that he inherited for his parents. His sister tells him that he need to update their website. She know someone that could to this. But when the person shows up he surprised.

This was an ok story to read. It had action, adventure, and drama within. It had a few giggles throughout.

I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout and Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinions.

DNF at 8%

I could not get into this. I've read books by Leslie North before, but I didn't connect with the writing in this one. I couldn't make it past 8%, I was just too bored.

Zoe Wilson has been hired to work on and fix a non-existent web design and page for her friend’s ranch. Going there will also bring her back in touch with two things she does not look forward to. One horse and two most importantly Jake who she feels broke her heart. Yet Jake who runs the ranch feels it was Zoe who broke his heart. Together the beginning of the book adds to this back and forth until they finally have it out. Then he works on getting her back on a horse. Once the website is done up and running the problem now becomes will she go or stay and even will Jake decides to ever take a vacation away from the ranch. See what happens with these two strong-willed personalities. A very good story with many good characters.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Zoe and Jake. They have known each other all their lives and had a previous relationship. Zoe comes to stay at Jake’s ranch while she is waiting to hear about acceptance to a graduate school. She is building up Jake’s ranch web site while she waits. There is still an attraction for them. They each have issues but together they work to find love

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

My favourite themes: cowboys and second chances. Jake and Zoe fell in love as teenagers but it ended when Zoe didn't want to do a long distance romance. Now established in her career but temporarily homeless, Zoe returns to her home town, staying with Jake and his sister Shannon at their family ranch. Full of romance and angst, this is a sweet story that is highly recommended.

One word: WOW!

This book was the first book I read by the author and now I want to read them all!! It was such a fast-paced story, I couldn't put it down - honestly, I read it under 24 hours!

This is the first book in the Cafferty Ranch series focusing on Cafferty's older son, Jake, and Zoe, but we still get to know most of the characters in the following books, especially Jake's sisters.

As I mentioned, this is quite a fast-paced book, but the author still managed to introduce the characters perfectly well and we are left feeling that we really know them (at least, enough to enjoy the story since this is quite a small book). Nonetheless, the characters were very interesting and the story was fascinating!

I only would have liked it more if we had access to what happened all those years ago in that summer that Zoe and Jake dated and maybe even a dual POV on how both of them dealt with the break-up.

This was a great read, which I couldn't recommend more, especially if you're a fan of the tropes of second chance love and best friend's brother!

This was a sweet second chance story. Jake grew up with two younger sisters in his family ranch. He was always around girls but one girl really caught his attention when they were older and he started college. His sisters best friend Zoe was someone who he had feelings for and she broke his heart when the summer ended and she would try long distance relationship with him. Zoe is now back in town and staying on his ranch thanks to his sister Shannon. Zoe is a computer geek who has promised to help develop a new website that will bring revenue back to the farm. Having Zoe back has brought back the feelings he buried for her so many years ago. One innocent kiss leads to so much more. Will Jake be able to keep Zoe this time or will they end up like they did so many years ago? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Another good cowboy romance by leslie north. However, im not sure what is was about this book but I felt it wasn’t her usual style and it was lacking descriptions and information in places. Good all the same.

Jake Cafferty has heavy shoulders managing his family’s ranch after the death of his parents. Struggling to keep it afloat, his sister, Shannon invited her best friend, Zoe, a popular website designer and nature photographer, to help reinvent the ranch. The only problem is Zoe was Jake’s first love and the one that got away. Can they keep things professional for the betterment of the ranch or will their chemistry threaten its success?

Wild Love is an uncomplicated, western romance with a bit of heat, cowboys and horses, plus plenty of witty banter between Jake and Zoe. The story started slow for me, but overall, I liked their relationship just fine. I found Shannon way more interesting and I hope the next book tells her story!

This book was a great read. At times I felt like I was right with the characters on the ranch. I enjoy reading this author’s books and cannot get enough. Cannot wait to read books 2 and 3 to see what happens with Shannon and Fiona.

This is the 1st book in the “Cafferty Ranch Series”. Zoe is a web designer and she and Shannon are BBFs. Jack is the oldest and only son of the Cafferty’s with two younger sisters Fiona and Shannon. When their parents were killed in an accident Jake was left to raise his sisters and take over the family ranch. Zoe doesn’t have a place to stay after being kicked out of where she was staying. Her BBF Shannon comes to the rescue and asks her to come to the ranch to update the ranches website. Zoe is really not feeling it but decides to go. Zoe and Jack have history as they grew up together. Going to the ranch will put Zoe in constant contact with Jake and she; also has a fear horse after being in accident.

What will Zoe do to make the website better, how will Jake react when he and Zoe come face to face, how will Jake help Zoe to overcome her fear of horses, do Jake and Zoe have a second chance at romance?

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange of my honest review. I've been reading books by Leslie North for a while now. I was excited when I received this arc. In this book we get the glimpse in life of Jake Cafferty & Joe Wilson. Jake is a gruff, hot ranch owner who is eldest of the siblings and assumed responsibility for their family ranch after passing of his parents. Zoe is a certified nerd & web designer who is also Jake's sister best friend. When Zoe lends in the limbo with housing situation, she goes off to live on ranch for a while with her best-friend meanwhile she helps Jake build the ranch's website. Of course Jake & Zoe's path collied again. Jake and Zoe who had summer fling turned more when they were teens. Can they put their heart on line when it is bound to get broken?

This is fast-paced, second chance/best-friend's brother book. I liked the Jake's character mostly, however I found Zoe's character a hot-mess and jumping to conclusion much. I loved Shannon & Eli's characters. I'm rooting for Eli & Fiona to get their own book. The setting of the book and how author have beautifully described Zoe's view & passion for photography. Although, I would have liked more glimpse into the past when Jake & Zoe was first started dating & broke-off.

This book was a fun quick read. I loved Jake and Zoe’s relationship a lot. I wish we go to see more of their past and more details about their breakup but I still enjoyed it regardless. Fast paced books are usually not my style but I loved this one.

Jake and Zoe had a summer romance, then they went off to college. Zoe is Jake’s sister’s best friend. Zoe has some time before starting Grad School. She will help out with their ranch’s website. Zoe and Jake rekindle their romance. Zoe goes off to grad school. They miss each other. There are grand gestures to be made. I love Leslie North’s books.
