Informative and engaging with beatufiul pictures full of color. The only down fall, this book seems more appropriate for an older audience. The verbiage chosen and descriptions seem a little too indepth for young children.

How Does Soap Clean Your Hands is such a cute book! The children enjoyed the narrator. There was so much educational content provided in a fun way. I want to add this to my collection 😍

This was a cute concept for an audiobook. I liked the audio narrator and the sound effects in this one.

I think this might be even better as an interactive ebook (with this audio narration).

It breaks it down in a way that is engaging and interesting.

It also does more than just talk about washing hands. It also discusses being healthy by eating healthy foods.

This would be good for any elementary school children from K-5th grade.

Review ⭐️⭐️

Although I found much of the information in this book to be helpful and informative, I personally think it maybe a written a little over the heads of the intended audience.

If the vocabulary was age appropriate and descriptions had been provided with
the the information presented the delivery would have been more effective.

However this is a great informative reads for teens and young adult, it is good to have a general overview of all the information provided in this book.

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the copy of the audio for my review

This is a good classroom audio for younger students, maybe under 5th grade? I thought it was cheesy, but in a way that younger kids would find hilarious. I was surprised that the audiobook didn't really answer the title - How Does Soap Clean Your Hands? - but I think that's due to the age range it targets. I was expecting some discussion on how the soap disrupts the plasmids in viruses and other pathogens, but the audio doesn't mention that at all and just kinda makes silly jokes and sings to show how long the kids should be washing their hands.

It's a good audiobook, just make sure it's age appropriate for what you want to use it for!

An Audiobook About the Science Behind Healthy Habits
by Madeline J. Hayes
Narrated by Nikki Thomas

I received a digital copy of this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Audiobook releases 5/26/22. The print version was released in 9/2020. So while the COVID-19 pandemic is not officially over the current climate is a little different now than at the book release time and this is mildly apparent in the book though the information is generally helpful information no matter what kind of germs we’re talking about and it doesn’t exclusively reference covid.

It’s billed for 1st through 3rd grade. I as a mom to a 5 year old and gifted 8 year old would say you could flex to pre-k through 4th. It’s practical with bits of humor. Thorough explanations that children can relate to. This would be a great listen aloud in a classroom setting during a craft or art time. Narration and sound quality were great.

5/5
