I’ve really enjoyed the Guardian Series by @traciabramson, so I was excited to read her latest novel. It was by far my favorite of the series! The plot twists made this a book I couldn’t put down!

The Guardians are a group of trained covert operatives, who ask to be called Ghost because they have to let everyone in their former lives believe they are dead. Cas is a Ghost living in Paris when someone from her old life finds out she is still alive and is trying to kill her. She works with another Guardian, Donovan, to solve the mystery of who wants her dead.

If you enjoy romantic suspense this is a book you will love!

Another amazing Guardian novel! Cassidy and Donovan are “Guardians” and dead to everyone in the world except their small group. They travel around the world helping to keep peace and rescue those in danger. But sometimes they find themselves in danger and need rescuing!

I liked both Cas and Donovan and how well they worked together researching the Coalition, her family, and dodging bullets and danger.

Lots of clean suspense and action as they race around the globe to stay one step ahead of the current threats. Some of this book felt a little “too real” with the fake news ploys and different groups attempting to disrupt peace in the US by using race, discrimination and pitting people against each other.

If you’ve read any other “Guardian” novels, you will recognize characters throughout like Troy, Ace and Ghost; but if not, all of these can be read as a stand alone books and you won’t feel lost. I highly recommend reading the Guardian books though, because they are amazing with on the edge of you seat suspense!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

This was a fun novel. It felt a little slow at the beginning, but overall, I enjoyed the book. Cas and Donovan were fun to get to know and were great characters. I haven't read the other Guardian books, but I am interested in reading the others.

Wow! What an awesome plot and great characters to go along with it!
It definitely keeps your attention all the way through. You'll be sitting on the edge of your seat for sure!
I love looking forward to this author's books!
They never disappoint and they always leave my heart feeling full and satisfied.
You know in a way it's really the not so savory characters that end up making the story pretty awesome. They are the most exciting ones.
But anyway, I really do highly recommend this novel. You'll love it just as much as I do!
5 stars for a job well done!y thanks for an awesome story.

I love the Guardian series by Traci Hunter Abramson, and this book is no exception. Ms. Abramson does a great job of weaving romance and suspense together to tell a story. I always enjoy the intrigue she creates and the mysteries that unfold in her stories. I loved getting to know Cassidy and Donovan. Starting out a bit as enemies to lovers (although they weren't exactly enemies...more, they just hadn't had super positive interactions), they quickly came to rely on each other. I loved the supporting cast of characters, some of whom we know from prior Guardian books.
It's hard to talk too much else about what I enjoyed from the book (decisions that needed to be made, and how those decisions would impact their future lives) but I thought the author handled it wonderfully.
While part of a series, you can read this as a standalone..

Traci Hunter Abramson write some of the best adventure and intrigue combined with romance. This was another great one. The story was fast paced and pulled me along. I was cheering for the good guys and booing at the bad. I highly recommend this book.

3 1/2 stars rounded up. Traci Abramson always delivers a fun ride. This story was no different. And I always appreciate that it'll be clean while still delivering all the good stuff!

Cassidy has been dead 4 years. While roped into the Coalition she was "assassinated" before she could take her information to the FBI. She instead joined those that rescued her, the guardians and has been saving others around the world ever since. While in Paris her family arrives and her cover is blown. What ensues is a battle to discover who tried to kill her, and who the Coalition leaders are that are creating unrest around the world. There's a nice little romance thrown in as well. Overall a nice story. At times I was a little turned around to what was going on, but I enjoyed the ride to the end.

Thanks to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Another great book from Traci Abramson. As a Guardian, Cas has had to leave her past behind and become a Ghost. But what happens when that past catches up to her?
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Donovan and Cas develop in a believable way.
The twist wasn't entirely unexpected, but still has the power to keep you on the edge of your seat until things are resolved. And then you're hoping that they actually ARE resolved!

Traci Hunter Abramson is an AMAZING author. There isn’t a single book of hers that I hasn’t turned into an instant favorite. Not Dead Yet is no exception. I have loved this whole series and can’t wait until the next one. It’s full of suspense, love and heartache and will leave you impatiently waiting for the next one!! Definitely recommend !!

I loved this book by Traci Hunter Abramson! I liked how we got to see Cas and Donovan, both trained guardians, work together and fall in love. I like the suspense in the story and how it kept me engaged the whole time. I also liked how Cas and Donovan had to learn to trust and work together in order to find out who was behind everything. This was a great addition to the Guardian series and I can’t wait for more.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors. A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

Traci Hunter Abramson has long been one of my favorite authors--between my ebook collection and paperbacks I think I own almost all of her books. Her romantic suspense is fantastic and I loved this newest addition to the Guardian series!!

Guardians are 'ghosts'. They have to be because they work in the shadows and do things that require anonymity. Cas is a Guardian who lives in Paris, which she loves, but her parents (who believe she's dead) have managed to arrive in there without any of the alerts Cas had set up going off. Donovan, another Guardian is sent in to help her leave town undetected, which turned out to be more difficult than usual because someone knows Cas is alive!!

As is usually the case with this author, this book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and didn't let go until the big bad was caught. Just when I thought Cas and Donovan were safe and could stay in one place for awhile, they were on the run again. I couldn't figure out who the bad guy was--there were so many possibilities and I kept changing my mind. This one definitely kept me up at night reading because I couldn't read much during the day. Warning: be prepared to get nothing done once you start reading this book.

I loved Cas and Donovan together, they just seemed to get each other--there were no big conflicts or arguments. Cas is a stress-baker (I wonder where the author got that idea, IYKYK) and a great cook, which leads to another warning: this book will make you hungry!! I love seeing some of the other Guardians pop up in the story and how each Guardian is able to find love and happiness although they live such unconventional lives. I know this just released but I can't wait until the next book in this series!!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher Covenant Communications via NetGalley. I also bought a copy for my personal library. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.

This was a great addition to the Guardian series! I’m loving this cast of characters and watching them save the world and themselves with each new adventure!!

Ahhh! I was on the edge of my seat the whole story. I thought I knew what each twist and turn was going to be and bam! Also-there is a fun little blip of some “favorite historical romance authors” that I loved was included into the story. I’m eagerly awaiting the next story!

All the stars for this fabulous romantic suspense from one of my favorite authors! I didn't want it to end. I need more!

In preparation for reading this book I went back and listened to all of the previous books in the series. The Guardians are a great group of characters. I loved seeing again how they are all connected and seeing more of them in this latest addition to the series. And the author is writing more books in this series!!!! Woohoo!!! Happy dance! If you can't tell, I'm really excited! I read this one but will probably listen to the audiobook very soon because they're so well done.

Being familiar with this author's writing style, I knew there were several possibilities for who the main bad guy was. I kept placing my guess (with myself) while I was reading and would cross one off, add one back on. I was constantly guessing and not at all entirely sure. And with the many twists and turns there were new suspects being added to my list. But it made the book even more fun with trying to figure it out and not knowing 100% until there were a few big reveals.

Cas is one of those characters that you quickly become invested in and can't help but like her more and more as the book goes on. She's spunky and sweet and goodhearted but watch out bad guys because she is a quick thinker and very good at protecting herself and the ones she loves and cares for! Cas, I'm on your side!!! I really liked the development of her relationship with Donovan a fellow Guardian who is called in to help her with a situation in Paris. They've worked together in the past (we haven't seen that, only find out through this book) and apparently there are some stories with those jobs. I'd love to have the author write some little short stories about those jobs because the teaser snippets about them in the book definitely have me curious. It was fun to see them working together towards protecting not only Cas but her family and many others.

One thing I love about this series (and the author's other suspense series) is seeing several aspects of these people who protect others. The physical side but also the computer and technology and behind the scenes investigating side. It's always very interesting and adds such a great layer to her books. I love that even when I'm reading for pleasure, I'm learning as well.

If you haven't read the previous Guardian books, I think you'd be fine to read this book as a stand alone. But, I love all of them and highly recommend you check them all out. I can't wait for the next one to release (I'll be patiently waiting)!

Content: Clean. There are no explicit scenes, just a few clean kisses. This book is a suspense book so there are chases, gun fights, and death, but the author writes it in a very clean way and not overly graphic at all. I listen to these with my family and my teens read and enjoy them.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. I've also purchased my own copy. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Before this book I had heard of Traci Hunter Abramson but hadn’t read anything by her. In preparation for reading this book I did go back to read the rest of the series and immediately I was hooked.

This is such a fun and unique series. I really enjoy the concept as well as the continuing storyline throughout the series. This book is the 6th in the series and out of all the books in the series this is the one which could be read as a standalone the easiest. Yes reading the rest of the series will help you understand the characters and the Guardian organisation, but it does not include the continuing storyline the other 5 books have.

I enjoyed this book. This is definitely more of a suspense book than the romance stories I normally read. The focus really is the suspense and mystery and I really like how it was built up. Once I started, I couldn’t stop reading. I needed to know who the bad guy is.

As you know, I love the romance side of stories like this. Cas and Donovan were an interesting couple. I loved how they worked together and supported each other. The only thing I struggled with is the speed of the relationship. I’m not really a fan of instalove and Cas and Donovan’s relationship definitely felt fast.

Although Traci Hunter Abramson is a new-to-me author, I have loved her books. I will be looking forward to more from her and will go back and check out some of her other books. If you haven’t read this series yet, I definitely recommend starting with the first book. You won’t be disappointed.

Cas was unwittingly involved in some nefarious dealings because of her (now ex) boyfriend Roshaun. When she discovered the truth, she announced she was going to the police and was supposedly murdered. She lived, but had to work for a secret organization and remain in hiding--no contact with her family, no wealth, no luxuries, no friends and trips, no care-free life anymore.

She suspects Roshaun tried to kill her, and he is now engaged to her younger sister. What is his game? To ruin her sister as well?

Working with Donovan, Cas and select others try to make sense of strange news reports and terrorist activities nearby. Then the bullseye zeroes in on Cas...and her family.

A good (clean) thriller, but melodrama pops up occasionally to overdramatize thoughts about relationships--or the future--during times of peril. It's unlike this author--I have read most of her earlier books, but it has been a while.

3.5/5 Stars
-1/2 Star for illogical choices by the agency
-1 Star for melodrama unbecoming a thriller
Overall, an enjoyable, light read.

I do love the guardian series! I just don't quite see how this story connects into the bigger guardian universe. Maybe it will come into more play later. I did like having Cole in this story. Donovan and Cas are adorable and I did really enjoy watching them blossom together, but this wasn't my favorite guardian book. Maybe when I read it again I will catch onto more!

Not Dead Yet
Guardian book 6

I discovered Tracy’s books last year and binged them all via audiobook. When I saw this one on Netgally, I knew I wanted to read it. It did not disappoint. These books are action packed mysteries, without being gory, and mix in some clean romance. Being book number 6, it was like jumping back in with friends. I loved the little glimpses we got into the lives of the other guardians.

Cas and Donovan are both guardian agents who are presumed dead for their safety and the safety of their loved ones. They work undercover as Ghosts with access to US intelligence. They end up thrown together on a case and form a bond when they are stuck hiding together. I loved the mystery in this novel and the idea of how harmful news and propaganda can be used within a nation and internationally.

Don’t miss this one!

Traci’s novels are always an automatic buy for me, and I was so excited to get this one early! Not Dead Yet is the latest Guardian novel. Who or what is a guardian, you ask? A guardian is someone who keeps the people who are trying to keep the world safe safe. They have their own series, but they also show up in several of Traci’s other books, and I think it’s so cool that these characters who make brief (or sometimes not-so-brief) appearances in other books have a series of their own.

Not Dead Yet is suspenseful with romance, as all the books in this series are. Once I started reading it, I didn’t want to stop! It is fast-paced, and just so good! There were things in the story that surprised me often! And I had forgotten some of the guardians’ stories, and now I want to go back and reread the series from the beginning. I also love how Traci connects several of her series’s with characters that have been in multiple ones. I feel like I know the characters, and it’s fun to “see” them again!

As far as her family and the rest of the world is concerned, Cas died in a car accident for years ago. In actuality, she survived the crash and is now living in Paris and working for the top secret guardian organization in order to stay alive and keep her family safe. When her family shows up in Paris without advance warning, she prepares to leave the city. But a bombing and fake news all over make her think twice. Could the organization that tried to kill her four years ago be behind all this? Do they know she’s alive? At least she has Donovan and the rest of the guardians to help her.

Even though this series is best read in order, as long as you’ve read the first one, Failsafe, I think you could read the others in any order without feeling lost, as long as you don’t mind knowing the couples who get together in the end of each book.

4 stars

Ms. Abramson is fantastic at weaving an engaging tale with genuine characters. She has done it yet again with the journey of Cassidy and Donovan.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.
