I love Sue Moorcroft books and I loved everything about this book. As well as Sky, the main character, there are others all with their own stories running through the book. Wilf made me laugh with his excitement at everything Sky was doing to the old property, he enjoyed shredding the cut down branches and making bird food in Christmas shapes. The effect Sky’s childhood still had on her mentally was well written and the love she has for one of her foster parents was beautiful. Add snow, Christmas lights and cookies and this book fulfils everything a good Christmas book should.

A well written, wonderfully festive read that would be an excellent present in anyone's stocking. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a Sue Moorcroft book.

I love Christmas, I love curling up with a good book on a cold day and this book gave me both.
It is festive, romantic, fun and the setting is perfect. Set in a wonderful little village you could just imagine being in with wonderful characters you could see yourself being friends with.

Sky is a great character and you can see likenesses in yourself or even people you know in her which makes the book relatable. It is a feel good book with a little bit of drama and lots of Christmas cheer.

A lovely book to read and one I would recommend to all those wanting an easy read but also a book that will make you smile.

I love love love this title. It was a great winter read (even though it's summer in the middle of the desert in My world). I love how deep the feelings and thoughts of the two main characters are and I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and probably stuffing it into a few stockings.

It's a brand new start for Sky when she buys The Corner House at an auction, but some of her old baggage

makes an unwelcome reappearance. With the help of new and old friends in the community in Middledip,

a more optimistic future is on the horizon, This is a great story about staying positive, living life to the full

and moving on. . Set in a lovely Christmassy atmosphere, I enjoyed this book so much.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Sky just left her job. She is not sure what she wants to do. She attends an auction for a house she lived in when she was a foster child. The house has not been taken care of. While their she meets one of her neighbors who she grows to love. Thisxwas a delightful holiday read.

I received an ARC of, A White Christmas on Winter Street, by Sue Moocroft. Love is never easy or without pain. Is Daz the one, or will he hurt her like all the others? A good Christmas read.

This is my first exposure to Sue Moorcroft and I was impressed by her style and character development. The protagonist was a thoroughly likeable and believable character and the storyline was all I could wish for in a Christmas theme.

Sky Terran is at loose ends. She has worked tirelessly for her foster brother's success and when he falls in love with a woman who wants to remake him in her image, he turns his back on Sky. Without a job to focus her energies, she buys an aging home, full of potential, in the one place she felt safe as a child – Middledip. (As you might surmise from the name, the setting is in England.) Here she begins to dismantle the protective walls she created, which kept her from trusting others and experiencing true friendship and intimacy. As she gradually lets down her guard, she begins to feel a part of the community and to explore a romantic relationship.

There is enough emotional drama to keep the book engaging and still maintain a feel-good holiday tone. There are plenty of quirky characters and a handsome neighbor for love interest, but the underlying themes are universal – love, loss, betrayal, forgiveness, hope and family. The holiday spirit is further enhanced by descriptions of a neighborhood decoration contest, the beauty of a winter snowfall and the gathering of friends and family in Sky's new home. Overall, this is a heart-warming Christmas story that is a gift in its own right.

My thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for the privilege of reviewing this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A White Christmas on Winter Street has everything you could wish for in a Christmas story – snow, sparkle, community/festive spirit, kindness, forgiveness and love. As a long-term fan of old buildings in need of restoration, Sky’s house purchase was a vicarious dream come true for me. I could totally relate to her gut reaction to the house and was with her every step of the way. I also understood the hero’s initial sense of loss at not being the one to buy it. But when they got over their initial hostility, the house became so much more – almost a central character in its own right. I loved how it turned into a haven for those who needed it, not least the heroine herself, and brought everyone together. The book is filled with genuine emotional dilemmas that make the reader empathise with so many of the characters. And the ending is as heart-warming as you could possibly wish for in a seasonal tale. I loved this story and didn’t want it to end – Sue Moorcroft a queen of Christmas stories and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

When Sky has a falling out with her foster brother Freddy, the only one who has always been there for her she has no idea what to do with her life. She is drawn back to Middledip, the one place where she felt safe as a child. Can Middledip heal her? And will she ever see Freddy again ?

Sue Moorcroft does it again! What a lovely endearing story. It was great to be back in the village once more and at Christmas.
Christmas in Middledip is magical especially when there is a competition for the best dressed street.

Sky is such a likable character who has been through a traumatic childhood and is devastated that the only person she could call family has let her down.
Sky soon settles into the village and everyone seems to be friendly and likes her but the yearning for a family of her own never leaves her.
Oh it's hard to review this without giving too much of the story away. So just have to say I read this on the hottest day of the year and was still transported into a cold snowy Christmas in the village.
A really nice read especially at Christmas. I love Sue's books.

A festive holiday tale filled with charming characters. At times it fell flat or slow moving, not enough to affect the story as a whole.

Sky returns to Middledip where she was happy as a foster child. Her foster brother gets engaged and his fiancee doesn't like Sky so she resign from her job. Lovely book. Love the books set in Middledip

I love Sue’s books and I love this one too. It’s a romance but so much more. Sky is drawn back into village life and Sue’s ability to draw the Chritmas-scape and then fill it with characters is second to none. This is festive, feel good and heartwarming from beginning to end. Curl up with your hot chocolate and enjoy being transported

I loved this book. A gripping story to the end . A story of finding your own family. I loved all the nature par , making fat balls and decorating your home and garden for Christmas. Finding nice neighbours and the prison part was sad and seeing it from a child’s view. An amazing winter read . Fantastic .
