I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was packed full of funny anecdotes. The authors were certainly brave to share their confessions. Thanks for letting me check it out!

Absolutely love the lady gang podcast and loved their first book so much!
Very excited they did a Followup book

A manifesto for revealing and reclaiming un-ladylike behavior from the New York Times bestselling authors of Act Like a Lady and hosts of the popular podcast LadyGang.

Every lady has a secret. A secret so humiliating, embarrassing, scandalous, or disgraceful that you haven’t told a soul—not your closest friends, family, lovers, or doctors. There is so much shame surrounding hiding secrets, and, frankly, enough is enough.

The truth is, there is power and freedom in releasing those dirty little secrets out into the big, bad universe. It gives you that same sweet relief as taking off an underwire bra at the end of a long, crappy day. That’s why Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jac Vanek—hosts of the LadyGang podcast—set their secrets free: the good, the bad, and the diarrhea. The LadyGang wanted to offer their large and loyal community a chance to join them in exposing the messy truths of their lives, and so, Lady Secrets was born: confessional essays from the trio themselves and an incredible crowdsourced collection of secrets from other ladies around the world. Secrets ranging from silly little white lies to cringey misadventures to soul-baring truths. And as it turns out, exposing your deepest and darkest helps you realize that we are all way more alike than we could have ever imagined.

Everyone seems to have a bizarre body malfunction, a hookup gone terribly wrong, and a soul-crushing experience that haunts them forever. And maybe that elaborate revenge plot you carried out against your cheating ex was actually kind of badass (in spite of being slightly illegal). It’s time we stop feeling ashamed of our (un)ladylike habits and own the real, raw, and ridiculous things that make you authentically you.

Lady Secrets was such a great read! With secrets ranging from delightfully cheeky to laugh-out-loud funny to heart-wrenching and brutally honest, I was hooked from the first page. While I have been a longtime Lady Gang fan, readers need not have any experience with the podcast or brand to appreciate Lady Secrets.

The collection is written in quick, digestible entries - a raunchy Chicken Soup for the Soul. Bonus points for the charming illustrations featured throughout!

In addition to being an entertaining book, the overall thesis of Lady Secrets is empowering. It's about releasing shame and guilt; letting go and moving forward in the direction of self-love.

5 Stars.

A book that will have you LOL'ing from the beginning. After all the bad things happening in the world, this book was much needed for a quick laugh. Loved the format and the humor throughout. Recommend for any female who needs to know that their deepest darkest secret is often times experienced by others. Loved this book and highly recommend it!

The ladygang has done it again!!! Lady Secrets is such a fun book for anyone looking to laugh and not feel so alone. This is a book of secrets and confessions that will make readers laugh out loud. Think Postsecrets meets Cosmopolitan. Keltie, Jac, and Becca have a great pulse on what readers will love - not a second of this book was boring. If you have a friend who needs a pick-me-up, this is the book to get her! Or if you want a fun coffee table book or book for the bathroom, this is the one! Highly recommended!!

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Lady Secrets was fun and an addictive read. I found myself skipping some sections, but I appreciated the authors’ intentions to liberate women by eliminating shame and stigma enforced by patriarchal society.

This was such a fun book! This book reminded me of the past articles in Cosmopolitan and similar magazines where the writer would expose an secret or an embarrassing moment. The main 3 women (of Lady Gang) provided some side-splitting humor, and I liked the bite-size stories from anonymous other women. A fun read!!

Thank you for the opportunity to red this in advance. The book was okay in my opinion. I thought it was a fair collection of “mishaps” experience by other women. This was nothing I found exceptional though.

I must confess that I didn't really take the time to read the synopsis, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Some of the confessions are quite funny, but most of them are either poop or hook up related and overall, very cringey! It felt more like confessions in the ladies' bathroom of the local night club at 2 a.m. with five too many drinks in your system than the soul baring, spirit awakening type. But hey, if this is what you are into, then go for it : )

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in return of a honest review.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

This was a quick little read. Some of the confessions were .... cheesy, while others were funny.
I have to admit i wasn't a huge fan of the "#girlboss" vibes i got from the book in general, but overall, quick, easy, slightly funny read. take that as you will.

Thank you #Netgalley for the advanced copy!

I had seen on instagram that this book was coming and I was so excited to get an early copy to read and it did not disappoint. As you can imagine by the title, the book is full of short stories/comments/graphs of secrets of Keltie, Jac and Becca as well as the lady gang listeners. Some of the stories had me laughing out loud, some were so raw and vulnerable. Overall, this read kept a smile on my place and I loved reading all the stories, I couldn't believe they were all real! From pooping, being shady, sexual encounters, work enemies, how to deal with grief and so much more.

I went into this book expecting a fun feminist read but it fell flat for me. I think fans of Rachel Hollis will LOVE this book. However, it was a little cheesy and reminiscent of the language used in MLMs instead of “#girlboss” it was “lady gang”. This was a quick read and the cover is fantastic unfortunately this book just didn’t work for me:

"Lady Secrets" is a very raw and amazing book. Many parts in this book are absolutely hilarious. I related to this book so much and felt less like an outcast. Thank you for writing this book and I will be looking into your podcast now. Also, I would like to note that when this does come out, I will be buying it wherever it is sold at because I loved this book. I saw no errors at all and the writing was amazing. Thank you to the brilliant authors and Netgallery for letting me read this.
