Grabbed my attention from the first page, Bridgeman excels at creating a intense story filled with realistic characters & storyline, faith elements, and clean romance.

Can't wait for the next book in this series!

FBI Special Agent Lynda Cutler is a witness. Her and her partner serve a warrant on domestic ecoterrorists when they're captured and her partner is killed. When the men responsible are linked to an international terrorist group, she's tasked onto the team flying to Turkey in order to identify them. She never expected her college sweetheart, Bill and his spec ops team to be there too. He broke her heart ten years ago, but with the mission ahead they have to put the past behind them.

This instalment in this series is suspenseful, but less action than the first, as the team pieces together the puzzle of what connects the bombings and her partner's death, and which terrorist network is responsible - they can't anticipate their next move if they can't understand their motives.

There are twists and turns to this story that keeps you on your toes. The story also shows how faith helps us through the tough pieces of forgiveness and reconciliation. Really enjoying this series!

After a rougher than usual childhood then a sports injury that led to Lossing his college scholarship Bill uses words as weapons to distance himself for his girl. Ten years later in a global terrorism scheme Bill comes face to face with the girl who once held his heart and harsher words. Lynda has dealt with the history she had with Bill and after loosing her partner in the FBI to what seems like Domestic Terrorist she is seeking an end to the terrorist cell which they have found holds global ties. Paired up as pretend husband and wife on this mission they face the past and future together.
When a ghost from the past and a terrorist step back into her life she fights against past hurts while seeking answers and staying mission minded. Her life is thrown into chaos when the head of the terrorist cell sets his sights back on her.
Love can do many things but God can do more. I thouroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish and now excitedly await book 3.

Word of Honor is the second book in the Love and Honor series and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I absolutely loved the first book with all the action and romantic suspense.

This book features Bill "Drumstick" Sanders and Lynda Cutler. Lynda is an agent with the FBI and gets assigned to take down an ecoterrorist group. Bill gets assigned with her to the middle east as her fake husband. They have a history together. So, there is a bit of angst in the air. While there is a good bit of action and suspense, I felt it wasn't as much of a page turner as the first one. But only by a little. It was well worth the read and I enjoyed it very much. I am excited there is a third installment and I can't wait for it.

What a page turner! I loved every minute of this book. It is action packed and has some relational drama to keep the reader invested in the characters lives.
Lynda is an FBI Analyst who is working against homegrown National terrorist. She is assigned to work with an old boyfriend from college and has to go undercover as his wife. Oh the drama!

I appreciated the faith based elements woven into this plot and that the author did not stop the book after the bad guy had been captured. There was still so much more to read! The ribbon was tied and the reader gets a final sense of ending.

This book is appropriate for teen readers. I was given a free copy in exchange for my review.

This is a great read! I would suggest reading Honor Bound first as there are a lot of characters to keep track of.
This tale is woven with mystery and intrigue. Can US top law enforcement and military stop the attacks on gas lines and save lives? Can they find the top guy? Travel to Alaska, Kuwait, Turkey, and DC to follow the action.
Add to the drama, two old college ex-friends who must do their assignment posing as husband and wife.

I have been anticipating the release of Word of Honor since finishing Honor Bound. The first pages of this book are intense and shocking! Bridgeman really started this book off with a strong and compelling hook. After the set up at the beginning, I felt as if this book really became mundane and I struggled to stay invested in this story or the characters. As each chapter passed I said to myself “nothing is happening” over and over. I wanted more action, I wanted more team dynamic, and in general I expected more romance and less petty bickering between the hero and heroine. I could not appreciate Lynda or her actions. She was holding a grudge from a break up when she was 19? It definitely affected her job performance and I found that to be extremely unprofessional. As much as I liked Bill in Honor Bound, I found myself disinterested in him and I actually didn’t think that Lynda and Bill were good for each other. Not enjoying this book was surprising and also disappointing because I gave the previous book 5 stars. I just felt as if the pacing was off, the characters were difficult to like, and the plot suffered from long lags where nothing happened. Hoping book 3 delivers more suspense.

First, I want to say that I read the first book in this series, Honor Bound, and absolutely loved it! It has edge of your seat suspense, wonderful team camaraderie, and a great romance. As soon as I finished Honor Bound, I immediately wanted to read Word of Honor. I expected this story to have the same fast paced action, team camaraderie, and romance. Sadly, I felt Word of Honor was lacking in all the above. Except for the very beginning of the story, there really wasn’t a lot of action or suspense. I also didn’t buy into Bill and Lynda’s relationship. It felt like there was too much telling and not enough showing. While this story didn’t work for me, I am looking forward to Honor’s Refuge.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

With her partner and he also was someone special to her. They were investigating an organization in the wilderness of Alaska. A nightmare began when they confront the men. The next step to bringing them down was faking being married and a Muslim.
A strong character in Lynda enduring losing a partner, and carrying on to bring the organization down.
Found it had a good tight plot, with tension of a mission that was well done.
Given ARC by Net Galley and Revell for my voluntary review and my honest opinion .
