This book was really insightful. It was different than anything I've read in the past. It really did impact my reading life in a positive way.

Inspiring Daily Devotions

This is a great journal consisting of 100 days worth of studying and meditating on God’s Word. It is very inspirational and each daily topic so comforting.

I love this journal because through each daily reading you experiencea peace walk with Jesus as you meditate on that day's particular topic and scriptures, and cast your care to God in prayer.

Beautifully written and I feel any woman would love it. Highly recommend.

Our Daily Bread publishes the most wonderful daily devotions. Moments with God for Women follows their layout of Bible verses with a short bit of encouraging words to the Christian woman that relate to the scripture. The ebook provides a convenient link to the scripture in the NIV translation of the Bible. The Bible translation can be changed if desired. Somehow the devotions are not repetitive although they are based on fairly common topics throughout the book. I found that it includes topics that seem important for women regardless of the stage of life. I received this book from the author/publisher free of charge, with no expectation of a positive review.

Our Daily Bread publishes the perfect daily devotions. Moments with God for Women follows their traditional layout of Bible verses with a short synopsis of encouragement to the Christian woman that relate to the verses. Too often devotions are more author driven than Bible driven, but Our Daily Bread always makes it about the Bible. This devotional makes a great gift for all women.

I have several excellent devotionals that I read daily, however not one like this, specifically targeted to women. There are 100 devotions however, I'll be starting over each time I read them all. God's word is living so each time I read them I know I'll hear something new.

Each day begins with a heartfelt story, then followed up with Moments of Reflections that includes a scripture appropriate to the story along with commentary, and ending with Moments of Renewal that is a bit of Godly advice.

Most women live busy lives, juggling many different things daily. This beautifully written devotional reminds us to take a few minutes to pause each day and absorb what good thing God has for us from His word.

I always enjoy Daily Breads publications and this devotional is no different. I read these every morning. They always speak to me and starts my day off on a positive note. Definitely recommend.

I’m a big fan of devotionals and books like this because they help me stay grounded in the busy world we live in today.

I loved starting each day, taking only a moment, to read one of the stories. They were always uplifting and started me off on the right foot for the rest of the day.

I didn’t try it yet, but I think this would be a great way to end the day as well to relax your mind and body, encouraging you to stay hopeful.

I know that once I have finished all the stories, it will be the kind of devotional that I can start all over again and never get tired of the inspiration they provide.

The book includes 100 devotionals written by various authors which makes each story unique.

I got through half of the stories, but wanted to write my review now because I think that this would make the perfect Christmas gift for the busy women on your list!!

I really appreciated how each day's devotional had a scripture attached to it and that scripture reference was first. I also loved the sections moments for reflection and moments for renewal. It was nice how the moments for reflection had both Old Testament and New Testament references written out. I liked how the moments for renewal got us to think about our lives. Each day was easy to do in less than 5 minutes, making it easier to read.

Great devotional for Women that cover a variety of topics that relate to reflection and renewal. It starts with the topic, a scripture, the devotional content, followed by moments for reflection (focusing on typically three different scripture references) and a moments for renewal (a purposeful prayer) I like how it's geared toward the way that women think, meaning here's the text followed by contemplation and thought. Very well done.
On a side note, they also have a Moments with God for Kids: 100 Devotions to Answer Your Questions about Our Amazing God and Moments with God for Men: 100 Devotions for Life and Adventure that are set up a bit different and yet done just as well as this particular devotion.

A wonderful experience that gently reminds the reader that there is always time for God and that moments spent to quiet contemplation and prayer are never wasted. I will be purchasing several copies as gifts this holiday season.

Each devotion gives you a passage to read from the bible, then it connects the passage with a story or message. It then gives moments for reflection, then a moment for renewal/prayer. I really liked the layout of this. It is perfect for any woman who is busy, and only has a few moments to dedicate each morning to quiet time. This devotional was very grounding. Would make a great gift!

This devotional has numbered days and includes a scripture passage. The ebook provides a convenient link to the scripture in the NIV translation of the Bible. The Bible translation can be changed if desired. Following the passage is a short story for application to the scripture, “Moments of Reflection” (which has 2 or 3 additional scripture references), and ends with “Moments of Renewal” (a sample prayer, question or challenge).

The 100 devotions are surprisingly not repetitive although they build on common topics throughout the book. There are multiple contributing authors, so the content amasses a broad spectrum of stories and scripture with insight from the group instead of just one individual. In this publication, I found that to work well to maintain interest and obtain meaningful time with the Lord.

The devotional includes various topics that are important to a woman’s life, no matter their age or situation and offers a chance to spend time with the Lord even during the busiest times of our lives. This devotional provides encouragement, inspiration, reflection and even some challenges. It would be a great book to carry along to work, trips or appointments since the devotions are short yet contemplative. They prove to give the reader something to think about throughout the day.

100 inspiring and thought provoking moments (stories which are then related to scriptures). The stories are very interesting. I am truly amazed at the knowledge of the authors to compile this book. My mother used to get little booklets from Out Daily Bread and she often passed them to me. Reading this book brought so many memories of her back to me, and for that I am truly grateful.

I found peace and insight while reading. I will be going back to read one a day in the future. I originally read this as an novel, not stopping after each moment.

I highly recommend this for women to read in their busy lives. It does not take much time to read one moment, and it would be a great way to begin or end a day.

I found this to be very meaningful. It is something I can go back to again and again. It will be a great resource for any woman on her faith journey.

This women’s devotional is designed to assist the busy woman with her quiet time. As such, it accomplishes what it is designed to do. It provides opportunity for the reader to find time at some point in the day to sit quietly, read a passage of Scripture, and reflect on the accompanying reading. I find this to be especially helpful in this post-pandemic period where things still have not settled down for many. Even if it has, there are others whose lives have changed so that they still need to fit in that quality time when there is not a lot of quantity time.

If this is you or you know someone in this situation, this would be a great way for them to reconnect with their Creator. Try it, recommend it, or buy it as a gift.

Beautiful Devotional

This beautiful devotional is perfect. The daily readings are brief, but they carry a wonderful message of encouragement. Each one has a scripture reference tied to the message for the day, as well as moments for reflection and prayer. The devotional is a great way to start one's day in communion with God.

Beautiful Cover with inspirational content. The Daily Bread uses hijack as the perfect word for my life. Many, many things “hijack” my life!
This devo was setup to pause. Quiet myself and connect with God. It encouraged me to listen, reflect and renew the scripture and my situation.
This 100 days were about reflection and renewal. Is that something you’re looking for? Each day has a unique trivia or event to bring home a point. Topical scriptures and finishes with a moment of reflection and renewal.
I highly recommend this if you need something to ground you. Remind you who you are and to embrace it.

Moments with God for Women by the Our Daily Bread authors would make an excellent gift for a single woman, a career woman, a mother, a grandmother, or yourself. The one hundred devotions follow the daily Our Daily Bread format. It has a scripture verse, short relevant story or message and closing thought and a simple prayer. No matter the fullest of one’s schedule there would be time for this devotional with plenty to think on for the rest of the day. If one has more time there is more scripture that can be read for deeper thought.

I especially like the cover on this devotional with the repeated motif on the pages. It added to the look without taking the focus off the devotion. I highly recommend all one hundred diverse devotions and thoughts found in Moments with God for Women.

Moments with God is a devotional for women that feel they don't have enough time to spend with God. For women that need to spend time in God's presence and experience him. I love how it was a daily walk and how the information was shared. I highly recommend this book to every woman.

Personally, I enjoyed reading Moments with God for Women. I definitely like the diversity of the stories being presented in the devotionals and how they ultimately tie back to scripture. It was a quick read and definitely accessible for people who want to engage in a regular prayer practice but have busy schedules.

That being said, I would definitely recommend this devotional.
