I loved the Savannah setting and the descriptions of the town and surrounding areas. I have read all of Anne frasier’s books. This one was at times, hard to follow. So many characters to keep up with. The mystery itself was so full of twists and turns that you had no idea who the killer was. It definitely held my attention throughout the whole story

Found Object was my first time reading an Anne Frasier book, but it will not be my last.

Found Object is the suspenseful story of investigative journalist Jupiter as she heads back to her hometown to recoup and recover from a tragic personal (and professional) circumstance. While home, she unravels the 20-year-old mysteries behind her mother's murder.

I enjoyed going along on Jupiter's journey as she uncovered more and more layers of the mysteries surrounding her, not only what happened to her mother but also her own grief. The tragic events of Jupiter's history have shaped her into someone who struggles. She struggles with loss, she struggles with love, and above all, she struggles with trust, especially with trusting herself.

Found Object is an absolutely fantastic read, and I am immediately heading over to fill my kindle with more of Anne Frasier's books!

Thank you to Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Jupiter Bellarose is an investigative journalist who’s made a terrible mistake that’s cost her her reputation, and possibly her career. Sent off to cover a “local color” piece in her home town of Savannah as penance, Jupiter is brought back to the place her mother, Marie, was murdered twenty years before. The effects of the murder linger long after the event and Jupiter has now come face to face with the people and places that have made her the ultimately flawed person she is

As always Anne nails it in the suspense department. I was on the edge of my seat and could not stop turning the pages until I reached the end. Jupiter is a lovable but flawed character who you root for but also question. Set in Savannah the feeling of old history adds to the background. Who really killed her mother? If you lobe unreliable narrators this book is for you.
