Truly, this book was magical. When all is lost in the world, I can always count on Chloe to write romances that are so authentically sweet, swoony, and sexy (OMG THE EDGING SCENE). And to no one’s surprise, yet again our queen nailed the neurodivergency and mental health rep. Our MCs, who have anxiety and autism respectively, are full, well-rounded characters who shine so brightly on the page, not in spite of who they are but because of it.

There’s so much more I could shout about - the queer rep, the hedgehog, the acknowledgments, the side characters, DID I MENTION THE EDGING SCENE, and beyond. Not enough people have read this book yet, and damnit, I think it should be a bestseller. What are you waiting for? GO READ IT NOW.

“What’s up my butt? The burden of existence? The cruel truth that to stay open, a business must be patronized by customers?”
Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese is the Much Ado About Nothing neurodivergent retelling that is an absolute must-read for every single romance reader out there. I freaking loved this book. Let me tell you why.

First, and foremost, are the main characters. Beatrice and Jamie. I instantly connected with Beatrice. She’s feisty, unapologetically herself and she’s learned to live life in a way that works for her. She’s an artist, an entrepreneur, and the unsuspecting victim of blind date set up. The other half of that blind date is Jamie. He’s the best friend and roommate of Beatrice’s sister’s boyfriend. It’s a small, tangled world. Jamie is straight-laced in comparison to Beatrice. He’s punctual, studious, and yet completely and inexplicably drawn to Bea. Jamie and Bea have a horrendously awkward meet cute which means their set up (via texts) is considered a heinous crime.

“You have a talent for using very few words and still making them sound very not nice.”

Bea and Jamie almost instantly figure out the situation and instead of getting mad, they decide to get even. They both agree to fake date, and like any great fake dating romance, they end up realizing that their differences complement each other in the best of ways. Beatrice’s vulnerability showcased throughout Two Wrongs is equally as admirable as the understated support that Jamie brings to their fake relationship. Beatrice is open about her autism from the start of the story. Having her perspective explained makes her relationship with Jamie so much richer, and I found myself lost within the story.

Second is the storytelling. Chloe Liese’s strength in writing is her ability to weave important information with heartfelt feelings and wonderful humor. Two Wrongs Make a Right is a beautiful romance on its own but given that it’s also about neurodiversity makes the romance even better. While I loved Jamie and Bea’s relationship, I adored Beatrice’s relationship with her sister, Jules. Each of these relationship storylines is important in Beatrice’s character arc and the overall plot. Lately there’s been a big movement in the acceptance of neurodiversity, but it’s being able to see and relate to characters in book that makes neuro-spicy characters that much more tangible to readers like me.

“People shouldn’t take on something to love and expect it to be convenient for them. You have to meet a living creature where they are, and love them for who they are, not who you want them to be.”
There aren’t many stories these days that will get me in my feels, but Chloe Liese is an author who speaks to my soul. Two Wrongs Make a Right had me laughing, crying, and felt like a warm hug of a book. I highly recommend reading Two Wrongs Make a Right as it is undoubtedly one of the best this year.

Chloe Liese has killed it with her traditionally published debut! Some parts felt rushed, and others dragged on, but it was still a great read. Overall, it was a delightful book.

I must admit, even though I don't usually have crushes on fictional characters, Jamie was just too adorable to resist! I get the whole #bookboyfriend thing with him.

Jamie was ADORABLE + HOT = the perfect combination 💗

4.5 Stars out of 5

This was cute, but not overly fluffy. Much Ado is my favorite Shakespeare play and I loved the nods to it in this book. I am excited to read the next in the series.

SO GOOD! As soon as I finished Two Wrongs Make A Right I recommended it to every romance reader I know. I adore Chloe Liese’s Bergman Brothers series so I was thrilled to read something new from her. Our introduction to the Wilmot Sisters series was cozy, relatable, and fun. I don’t even care that the fake dating set-up and the Shakespeare retelling aspects are flimsy at best. This book is my jam and I gobbled it up!

i love a book that grabs me from the first moment and then refuses to let go. what did CL put in her words?!! i loved this, loved being on the journey of love with these lovely and amazing characters

the setup - flimsy, but ok
the middle - cute relationship, weird side character choices
the ending - oi...

I can't tell you how disappointing it is to read such bizarre and forced third-act conflicts when the characters have been extremely delightful to read about. A little more subtly and nuance please.

This book is SO funny. I was a little hesitant to read another book by this author that wasn't part of the beloved Bergman group, but no regrets!

This writing is inclusive and important. I love seeing such rep in romances!

This book is steamy, fun, witty, and clever as hell.

Thank you to Netgalley and Chloe Liese for the ebook!

A Chloe Liese book that isn’t a Bergman story. This book introduces us to The Wilmot Sisters, and it did not disappoint!

We’ve got another fake dating trope here plus a bit of enemies to lovers. There is some neurodivergent representation here as well, because all of Liese’s books include significant representation with them. It’s also a modern day Much Ado About Nothing, which is super fun.

Always a fan of Chloe Liese's stories and emphasis on diverse characters and their experiences. Jamie and Bea are forced upon each other in this Much Ado About Nothing retelling. Jamie's a pediatrician with anxiety and a lot of rules and Bea is a free spirited erotic artist with autism and emotional abuse trauma. They connect through honesty and directness, which I found to be the best moments of the books. Liese avoids contrived misunderstandings and has the characters respect each others communication needs and minimize gray areas or confusion. There were a few pages, especially around romance scenes, where I felt maybe there was too much conversation, but overall I liked the arc of this couple and especially loved their supporting characters. Excited to read the next Wilmot Sisters story!

Ugh…Chloe Liese does it again! She is one of my favorite authors for a reason and I just love her and her books.

Two Wrongs Make a Right is an enemies-to-lovers, opposites attract romance with faking dating and it is *chefs kiss*! It is a Much Ado About Nothing retelling with a cast of meddling but lovable characters and laugh-out-loud funny matchmaking schemes. It is the perfect blend of heartfelt and vulnerable and sweet and steamy with Chloe’s trademark neurodivergent representation that just breathes life and love into this beautiful story. It is also set at the holidays, but not necessarily a “holiday” book so it would be perfect to read this time of year or anytime really! The Bergman Brothers series is still my favorite, but Two Wrongs Make a Right is still amazing! Just pick it up…trust me!

Read if you like:
-Opposites Attract
-Fake Dating
-Dual POV romances
-Much Ado About Nothing/10 Things I Hate About You
-Neurodivergent representation

Thank you so much Berkley Romance and Netgalley for the gifted copy.

Did someone say enemies to lovers Shakespeare retelling???????/ They did. And that's what this is. But this romance is trying very hard to be more than just a romance — you can see evidence of that all throughout the work. It's obvious and a bit ham-handed. Couldn't get beyond 50%.

I am a big fan of Chloe Liese - her Bergman Brothers series is truly perfection in my eyes. I was really excited to get this ARC and to see what Chloe does with her new series & being traditionally published.
That being said, it wasn't my favorite, because I found the FMC to be almost, too cruel? The end really threw me and was a bit disappointing. However, everything else? EVERYTHING I've come to love from Chloe. The witty banter, the humor in it, an almost too good to be true hero (Hi Jamie, I see you, ILY bby).
I am personally not too familiar with Much Ado About Nothing but after reading this I had to look into it further. I really loved the inspiration for this book, completely. Chloe always has some incredible rep in her books (I love when I get to see anxiety on the page - as being diagnosed myself a few years ago).
I can't wait to see what she does next!! Definitely a good read in my opinion!

I do not know why I waited so long to read this one. I was missing out!!

This story was full of great banter and the best kind of tension. I love that Chloe Liese always writes stories with neurodivergent representation but it never feels like she's writing it to fulfill some sort of representation checklist.

Bea and Jamie were everything and I LOVE how they loved each other and how easily they just sort of fell into it and accepted it. Did I enjoy the 3rd act breakup, no, but I understood it and it was very short-lived.

If you like great romance with a lot of tension that breaks in the best of ways, then you'll absolutely want to grab this one ASAP!

*I received an early copy from NetGalley for voluntary, honest review.

I absolutely adored Two Wrongs Make a Right, a Much Ado About Nothing retelling from Chloe Liese! And is there anything better than the pairing of a nerdy hero and tattooed heroine?? Jamie and Bea were absolutely perfect together. And my favorite was Jamie falls first. This book is oh so sweet and just the right amount of spicy. Can't wait to read more from Chloe Liese.

Jamie Westenberg and Bea Wilmot have nothing in common except a meet-disaster and the mutual understanding that they couldn't be more wrong for each other. But when the people closest to them play Cupid and trick them into going on a date, Jamie and Bea realize they have something else in common after all—an undeniable need for revenge.

Soon their plan is in place: Fake date obnoxiously and convince the meddlers they’re madly in love. Then, break up spectacularly and dash everyone's hopes, putting an end to the matchmaking madness once and for all.

To convince everyone that they’ve fallen for each other, Jamie and Bea will have to nail the performance of their lives. But as their final act nears and playing lovers becomes easier than not, they begin to wonder: What if Cupid’s arrow wasn’t so off the mark? And what if two wrongs do make a right?

I love a Shakespeare reimagining and all things Chloe Liese so this was right up my alley! Bea was a fantastic character and her meet cut with Jamie was hilarious perfection. As always, Liese's inclusivity was on point - with queer, anxiety and autism spectrum disorder rep - and throw in some grumpy cats and a hedgehog, and how can you not love it?

Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for the copy to review.

In this Much Ado About Nothing retelling, Jamie and Bea fake date with the goal of revenge on their meddling friends.

I really enjoyed Chloe Liese’s Bergman Brothers series, so I requested this from NetGalley. I enjoyed the audiobook - especially the dual POV. It wasn’t my favorite book by Chloe Liese, but I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Two Wrongs Make a Right is great for fans of enemies-to-lovers and fake dating tropes! This was my first read by Chloe Liese, and I must read her backlist soon. I've heard great things about the Bergman Brothers series!

Jamie and Bea, are complete opposites and after their friends try to force them together, they decide to trick everyone and fake date. Then when all of their friends are content they'll go through an epic breakup and stop their friends from meddling once an for all.

A retelling of Much Ado About Nothing, Two Wrongs Make a Right, was a quick and cute read. I enjoyed the dual POV, the representation, and the fun side characters.
