Chloe Liese, take all my money!! I couldn’t possibly love Bea and Jamie more. I was fortunate enough to receive an advance review copy of Two Wrongs Make a Right, thanks to Chloe’s team, who prioritized neurodivergent readers. I love Chloe’s commitment to write love stories for everyone—showing that every single person deserves a happily ever after. This modern take on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing hit ALL the right notes.

Bea and Jamie don’t have a meet cute. They have a meet DISASTER. The night they meet, she spills not one but two drinks on the poor guy and then they got locked in a closet together. Their friends were not so subtly pushing them toward each other, but they both agree that would be the worst idea ever.

Bea’s twin sister Jules and her fiancé Jean=Claude orchestrate a blind date for the pair, which starts with a week of anonymous texting to break the ice and allows Bea and Jamie to communicate comfortably and without pressure. When they arrive at the designated date spot and realize they’d been duped, they decide the best revenge would be to pretend to date, get their friends invested in their relationship, and then BREAK UP IN A DRAMATIC WAY to show them just how much they did NOT appreciate being manipulated.

Their plan massively backfires when they realize they’re actually perfect for one another. Oops.

But let’s take a minute to talk about the amazing neurodivergent representation in this absolute gem of a book. Bea is autistic and has sensory issues that make functioning in a neurotypical world a bit challenging. Jamie has anxiety, which affects his self-esteem and his relationships. As someone who lives with anxiety, depression, a chronic illness, and ADHD (with a heaping side of sensory issues), this book struck a beautiful chord. I loved being able to see facets of myself on the page, in a way that celebrates my differences instead of denigrating them. This is what makes Chloe’s writing truly special. I can’t WAIT to get my greedy little hands on a finished copy. I’ve had it preordered for months, and if you’re smart, you’ll go preorder it RIGHT NOW because Two Wrongs Make a Right is one of the best romances I’ve read all year.

Thank you so much to Chloe and the team at Berkley and Netgalley for my advance review copy. The day it showed up on my kindle was the best day of my entire summer.

I have loved everything I have read by Chloe Liese, so I was not surprised to find that this book was adorable perfection. While I can't speak for everyone, Liese may have created my perfect book boyfriend. Now drop him into some of my favorite tropes (fake dating, opposites attract), add in disability representation and then ice the whole shebang in a delicious frosting of “Much Ado About Nothing” retelling…needless to say I read it twice. It was that much fun.

Thank you to NetGalley for access to an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It is important that I start this review off with the fact that I LOVE (❤❤❤) Much Ado About Nothing. And I’ll be honest, I saw that this was a reimagining of it and went for it, no questions asked. I should have asked questions. This isn’t Much Ado About Nothing. Once I finally fully realized and embraced that fact, the book got better for me, I had quit expecting it to be something it just is not.

There are some great things about this book: fake dating, opposites attracting, neurodiverse rep. I wanted to like this book more than I did. My favorite part was surprisingly the middle, I loved Bea and Jamie becoming friends and going from a bad first impression to giving each other a chance. At this point they were still sarcastic with each other, a bit snappy. That gets lost in later chapters.

<spoiler>Once the relationship really started, they lost their specialness to me. They made these long and vast declarations to each other, too much to read as the same people they had been in the previous chapters. </spoiler>

The side-plot of Jean-Claude seemed a bit jammed in there. It didn’t make sense that a pediatrician with insanely rich parents would have to have a roommate, especially someone he didn’t particularly like. And Jean-Claude got too bad, too quickly; at least for it to seem realistic. My bets would have been him behaving the way he was after the wedding.

The ending wasn’t my fav either. <spoiler>I get that Bea loved Jules so much that she was willing to put aside her own relationship, but after going through the struggle of a breakup and knowing how much it would hurt someone she loved, I can’t see her breaking it off with Jamie. It would have been more likely for it to have gone a bit differently. Maybe slowly not seeing him anymore, trying to make it work still, but it not really working well either way.</spoiler>

Overall, I’m happy I read it, but it just isn’t one of my favs.

Chloe has done it again, and again (x3). If you know me you know my stance on any Chloe Liese book but, pretend you don't and let me tell you: Fake dating, disability rep, opposites (who are much similar than they think) attract, Wes and Bea. A Shakespearian swoon fest. Two wrongs make a right is a play on Much ado and arguably better (don't tell good ol William). This book beautifully approaches dating while disabled and never once makes anyone a trope or a box to check. Everyone should read a Chloe Liese book, this one is a fantastic place to start.

I love Chloe Liese, so of course I thought this book was super cute! I had no idea what this book was about, just that Chloe had written it and that's it. I have to say that I loved it! She is so good at creating characters you want to meet and become friends with. I wanted to eat some of Toni's cookies, hang out with their friends, buy some stationery and eat pho! Awesome anxiety and neurodivergent representation. The communication these two had was so great. Jamie is 150% swoon worthy. Bea is super cute and I wanted to raid her closet. I would love to see a book for the other Wilmot sisters as well. I need to know what happens with them!

Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

as someone who is also neurodivergent, I loved this read.

We get some fake dating, which isn't written how most fake-dating stories go.
or at least they ones I have read. Bea and Jamie didn't have a typical meet cute, it was a meet-disaster. nearly a week later they are set up by two people, who exchanged their numbers going by middle names so they didn't know who they were really texting for a whole week, until they "met".
Figuring out they've been set up, they plan revenge. Fake date, make everyone think they truly are into one another.....
as you guessed it, it didn't last long as just fake dating.

Bea struggles with most social situations and doesn't feel all that confident, always feeling like she's wrong.(girl, same.) She is also an astrology girl, and always brings up how Jamie is a Capricorn and how he truly acts as one.(i'm also a capricorn and share a couple of the same traits as our MMC.)
Jamie is nearly the opposite, looking at the two of them, they don't look like they would even be close to having a working relationship at how many differences they have between one another.

this is a story that will stick with me, it was different yet sososooooo captivating. I loved it. I didn't binge read like I normally do because I simply did not want to stop reading about them! I loved Chloe's writing style, her characters are easily likeable(accept he who shall not be named. ick.) They have their own personalities and you don't get lost with details and traits they have. This was a healthy relationship between two opposite people who slowly fall in love with each other.

I could go on and on about this one, but i'll stop here.

I'm so excited to have received an arc for two wrongs make a right by one of my favorite authors, chloe liese! you guys are going to love this book, and i can't wait for you to read it!

the story follows beatrice and jamie, two people who couldn't be more different. where bea is chaotic and messy, jamie is neat and serious, but they have one thing in common: they were badly hurt in the past and have no interest of being hurt again. so when they realize their mutual friends are pushing them together, bea and jamie come up with a plan for revenge, which happens to include a fake relationship, and the rest is history *happy sigh*.

what i love the most about chloe liese is the way she writes her characters so realistically. jamie has anxiety and bea is on the spectrum, and i think it's very important to read about something this common in romance stories and how they affect the relationship and the people themselves. as someone who struggles with anxiety, i can't believe I've finally found a character i can relate so much to!

My heart. Chloe Liese can write the heck out of a rom com. Another charming yet emotional love story that pulled at my heartstrings, made me swoon, and gave me all the feels. I loved the characters, the positive neurodivergent + mental health representation, and the Shakespeare re-telling.

Thank you so much to Berkley and Netgalley for my copy.

A fun and hot read that I thoroughly enjoyed. The character development and representation was done with care and attention. I couldn't get enough!

As a big fan of Bergman Brothers series, Chloe Liese became my automatic approved author on my reading list: I can read anything she writes including post it notes with nonsense scribblings.

But this book is something extra special and deserves more than five stars.

It’s smart, entertaining, poignant retelling of Much Ado Nothing. My favorite tropes: enemies to lovers and fake dating couldn’t blend in this story so great.

A hero with anxiety issues and artsy, unconventional heroine on the spectrum with nothing in common. They’re opposite Astro sign duos: a perfectionist, strict Capricorn and cantankerous Cancer!

Bea Wilmot; erotic artist: giving a new meaning to people’s sacred body parts with her drawings. Her body is covered in tattoo. She’s eccentric, also cautious after a bad breakup shook her to the core, destroying her self esteem.

Jamie/ Jake/ West Westenberg: coming from competitive, highly achievable surgeon family. He’s a pediatrician, cat lover, cataloging every bone of human body instead of counting sheep before sleeping. He's bookish-looking and hiding a rocking bod in the wrinkle-free dad slacks.

Jamie works with Jean Claude: the boyfriend of Bea’s twin sister Jules. Jean Claude and Jules decided to play matchmakers. The other friends circle join this plan at the Halloween party. But this plan ends with disastrous results. Bea two times throws drinks at Jamie ( not intentionally) and they find themselves locked in closet, sharing near kissing experience! Then Jamie runs away and Bea gets humiliated at the end of the night.
But that unsuccessful attempt couldn’t stop the matchmakers. They still try pushing Bea and Jamie into each other.

Bea gets pissed to be forced dating with someone opposite of her. She decides to get a revenge by fake dating and breaking up to teach her overprotective sister a lesson. Luckily Jamie accepts to play fauxmance.

But as you expected their opposite attraction, high chemistry are undeniable. Maybe they don’t have anymore! Maybe there are more important things in the life than sweet revenge!

Both of the characters are so much lovable. Especially Jamie won my heart when he tries to hide what’s inside of his freezer? Yes, it’s fulled with vegetable soup samples he’s made for Bea! He even bought her favorite lubricant! Wow! He’s caring, sweetest guy and Bea: eccentric, unique, emotional heroine I truly cared!

I think I can read more Wilmot sister books! I’m already intrigued about adventurous Kate who appeared at the last chapters.

Overall: I loved it! I adored it! I devoured it! Dating again it deserves more than five stars!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sharing this ultra amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest opinions.

CW: anxiety, toxic relationship (past relationship, and side character's relationship), emotionally abusive parents/family tensions, ableism

I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)

-m/f fake dating
-crash of a meet cute
-insta attraction
-opposites attract
-horny, horny slow burn
-meddling friends
-mutual pining
-neurodiverse and anxiety rep

What a book, I just, honestly I am so upset it is over. Bea and Jamie are just top tier. Bea a bit prickly not looking for love. Jamie, uptight, set in his ways. They crash into each other and just keep doing it. I love how they effortlessly keep running into each other, their lives intertwining. The instant chemistry. Every fake dating moment of wondering if this is real, not even recognizing at first what they were feeling. Squeeee

I adored how much this book was about the simple risk of loving someone, being your honest self, letting them see you. Bea and Jamie were each other's safe spaces, even when they didn't mean to be at first. Jamie was just top tier for me. How he didn't even realize it but had jsut fallen for Bea. How he rescued two elderly cats. Just a softie wearing those glasses. Every moment he checked in with Bea to ensure she felt safe squeezed my heart.

Bea's relationship with her twin. Honestly I could just rave on an on. The beautifully crafted secondary characters that has me chomping for the next book in the series. Just two people in a lot of denial, pining away, horny, horny, horny for each other, and falling in love in the softest way.

Bea is an artist who has sworn off love after a bad relationship. Her twin sister introduces her to Jamie, an uptight pediatrician who has also given up on relationships. Sparks don’t fly immediately because Bea spills drinks all over him- not once but twice. Bea and Jamie’s scheming friends set them up on a not so blind date, where the two decide to fake date in order to get revenge on their meddling pals. The only problem is, their friends might be right… these opposites might just attract.

I loved this book so much. It was one of those books that I tore through the pages but had to try to make myself slow down to savor it. Bea and Jamie’s relationship was just so real and so sweet. I truly appreciated the author’s representation of neurodiverse main characters, as Bea is autistic and Jamie has anxiety. As a person who has always struggled with anxiety, it was so lovely to see traits I know so well reflected in the pages of a romance. I felt the author handled these subjects beautifully by addressing them head on but not making it the focal point of the story. This book is heartfelt, joyful, and beautifully written. It’s everything I want in a romance, and I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this sweet story about characters who had to overcome anxiety in order to come together. At the 70% mark, I did feel like the drama was contrived and unnecessary. It felt more like setting up for a sequel with other characters than it felt appropriate to our leads.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC.

Huge thank you to Chloe Liese and PHR International for giving me the opportunity to read an early copy of this beautiful book.

I’m a big fan of Chloe Liese, her writing and story telling is always phenomenal. And I really loved the way she doesn’t just write about romance, she always covers so many important topics in her books and is always making readers feel truly seen which is so important.

I really liked the awkward main characters, I found them both to be really endearing and of course I was a big fan of the mental health (anxiety) and autistic spectrum reps. Fake dating is one of my favourite tropes and this one was no different, I thought Bea and Jamie really needed that little extra push to be together because they were so sweet! I always love the way Chloe managed to write the steamy scenes that are spicy and know how to get you all hot and bothered 🥵 but are also so full of consent! We love to see that consent!

My only slight issue was that I didn’t really like Bea’s sister, Jules. To me, I didn’t feel like she respected her sisters boundaries and she was rude to her sister constantly. And I’m not a big fan of the third act conflict so that let it down slightly for me. But still a very enjoyable read that I would recommend to all my romance loving friends!

I love Chloe Liese, the Bergman Brother’s series featured more than once on my favourite books of 2021 list, so I was beyond excited to see that she was creating a new world and even more excited when I got to dive into it months before publication!

This one was a little bit of a mixed bag for me. I LOVED Bea and Jamie! Loved them!! I thought that they were great characters individually and together, they were smart, funny and flawed in their own ways, but also self-aware enough to know where they struggled in life. I liked that, as always, Liese doesn’t just write romance but she writes about autism, anxiety, toxic relationships and family dynamics. She writes sex scenes that are spicy but full of consent, and main characters you want to root for and see get their happy ending.

However, it was (almost) all the side characters that I had an issue with, especially Bea’s twin sister Jules. Of all the people you would think would understand boundaries and limits when it came to her twin sister and what she feels comfortable with you would think it would be Jules, but no. For me, she had no respect for Bea or her boundaries, she only thought of herself. She was pushy and rude and believed that she knew best. It often felt like she didn’t care if her sister was uncomfortable or struggling because ‘I know what’s best for you’. Others were involved with this mentality but it was mainly Jules. Those scenes, especially with her sister, but with other side characters made me mad and uncomfortable. I do think that was part of Liese’s point, that what is ‘right’ for one person might not be ‘right’ for someone else and we all need to be able to figure out our own paths in this world. Whilst it did ruin some of the enjoyment for me, I’d still give this close to a 4 star.

I feel like there’s going to be three books in this series, one of each of the sisters, and I’m ready for it! I also have a sneaky suspicion that one may be set in Scotland so….hey Chloe!!

This one is out November 22nd, which gives you plenty of time to pre-order and then go off and read the Begman’s if you haven’t already!

By now I'm a fan of Chloe Liese writing. It's not just her way with words, her dream descriptions or the chemistry of her characters. It is the way her characters connect with the reader in a deep way, how the reader can enter the book with them.
.
Fake relationship is one of my favorite tropes, as always the characters think they are smarter pretending only to show that they have nothing under control when the complicity of the situation leads them to deep feelings and explosive chemistry
.
.
Jamie is pediatrician, serious and strict , sticking to his rules and routines that keep his anxiety at bay .He normally hates social gatherings but when his best friend have a masquerade birthday party and insists he go, he can only attend and endure every attempt to set him up with the woman behind the rare lobster mask who keeps bumping into him .
.
Beatrice is a talented artist who is on the autistic spectrum , and after having left behind a difficult relationship, she needs time to try to have a relationship again but with her twin sister in love and determined to get her to fall in love like her, things start happen fast.
Bea is capable of doing anything for her sister and agrees to meet her ideal candidate without counting that there was more than one person in the plan, and the sexy man behind the mask is also the grumpiest one who she can't stop to think about
.
They are both tricked by their mutual friends into getting out of their dating ban and risking their hearts again. But in the midst of so many cornering and meddling, both decide that the perfect revenge is to prove that they are not only right but also perfect for each other.
.
But from playing and faking so much that it is real with the chemistry constantly going up, the lines and rules need to be changed
.
.
I fell in love with the magical scenes, colors and sensations on the pages of this book. For Bea and her way of seeing the world, for Jamie and his thoughtful gestures towards Bea, there are such beautiful, sexy scenes, so good slow burn and heartwarming to read several times
.
Bea and Jame are perfect for each other, so different and with such sensitivity that it is impossible not to fall for them, not to fall in love with each gesture and dialogue between them
.
you can expect slow burn, steamy scenes, meddling friends, the must cute hedgehog and cats, magical fall vibes, and characters you will want to add to your bookboyfriend and book-girlfriend list and want to keep reading about in other books
.
.
Thanks to Chloe Liese and PHR International for give me an early copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest opinion

I really liked the awkward main characters, as well as the mental health (anxiety) and autistic spectrum reps. The third act conflict felt somewhat contrived to me though. However, still a fun romance read.

As an exclusively romance reader who has read over 600 romance novels, I can say this is the most romantic book I've read to date. I'm not new to Chloe Liese's writing so I knew I could expect the most gentle and loving romance, but this was so much more!

Jamie and Bea were so good since the beginning. I usually don't enjoy meddling in romance, but this time it was so funny and good to read. They needed to be pushed a little bit because they were not seeing how good to each other the could be. The fake dating in revenge was awesome but the best part was how they fell in love because it was inevitable and they were meant to be. I could read a hundred books about them going on dates and being vulnerable and intimate with each other. The communication was perfect and I hope I could have something as pure as their relationship.

The secondary characters were sooo good! I need Juliet to have a happy ending. Both Bea's and her toxic relationships have reached my heart and now that I got to read Bea's HEA, I need Juliet's. Honestly, I could read a book about every single character of this friend group, even those of them who are already a couple. They're all so amazing and supportive.

I was so ready to give this beautiful story 5 stars, but then the third act break up happened. In general I'm not a fan of this part in any book, and I feel like a parrot because most times it's what makes me change my rating when I can't overlook it, and sadly, this is one of those times. I still believe this book was perfect because a small percentage won't change my entire point of view of the entire story, though, and I wish I could reread this book forever.

Rating: 4.5/5
Steam level: 2/5

Thanks to PRH International and Netgalley for my ARC.

I enjoyed this title, but it got a little repetitive at the end. The dynamic between the romantic leads was powerful. Their banter was humorous and issues were handled in a real way. I do wonder if the author is setting up a Taming of the Shrew spin-off with a couple of side characters. Unlike Taming of the Shrew, the Hero dumped this version of Claudio which was refreshing.

This was such a soft, sweet read! It's a fairly quiet book without a ton of drama, more about watching the couple want to be there for the other and learning how to do that. Which is totally my jam, especially since Bea and Jamie are both so dang lovable and cute and HOT. With the neurodiversity rep and focus on character and relationships, it will definitely appeal to fans of Mazey Eddings and Talia Hibbert. TWO WRONGS MAKE A RIGHT was my first Chloe Liese book, but I'm sure it won't be my last!
