I was weary of reading this as I haven't been a fan of this author, but really wanted to give it a go and am glad I did because it was a lot more enjoyable for me. It wasn't a favorite of mine, but was easy to read and quite enjoyable.

i think this is the best autistic romance I’ve ever read. I wish that real life was like this.

I was so taken aback by how Bea’s autism is never once treated like a burden or a problem in this book, and neither is Jamie’s anxiety or compulsions. I couldn’t believe how he listen to her and accommodated her and seemed to genuinely care about making life easier for her. It was really important to me that Bea never saw herself as less for being Autistic. I wish I could say the same thing about myself. I ended up reading this ARC on Autistic Pride Day, and ended up crying through almost all of it because I haven’t been feeling very proud lately or having an easy time, and it was such a salve to read this and imagine that stories and experiences like this are possible in some way.

I love Bea and Jamie so much. I thought it was so funny how he would keep remarking on how different they were, because the whole time i kept thinking about how they were so similar.

I’ve yet to be disappointed by a Chloe Liese so far. This was no exception. I will say I did think the ending/obligatory third act breakup was a little rushed and unnecessary, but the the grand scope of the novel it didn’t outweigh the rest for me because that’s a convention of the genre.

Review: TWO WRONGS MAKE A RIGHT by Chloe Liese shorturl.at/fhIQV

I instantly enjoyed this romance. Loving how the author dealt with neurodivergent issues as well as those suffering from anxiety disorders. She didn’t digress into stereotypical anecdotes but kept it real and relatable. Bea was quirky, fun, and loveable. It was a forgone conclusion that the anxiety ridden, uptight Jamie wouldn’t stand a chance. I became invested in them and their relationship fast. Each of them was socially awkward yet were able to find that tendril of connection in each other. The story had humor, friendship, love and angst from family, and above all – a sexy as all get out romance. I hope her sisters and friends get a book as well.

Thank you to @netgalley @berkleypub and @berkleyromance for a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to @prhaudio for a free download of the audiobook. And thank you to @berittalksbooks and @dg_reads for including me on this buddy read.

It is one thing to have a romcom give you all the feels, but Two Wrongs Make a Right made me feel scene from the writing of the main characters. I love seeing neurodiverse. Characters who’s brains buzz from too much stimulus, who have good intentions but are also a hot mess at times, who deal with anxiety but are still funcitonal.

In this book, Bea and Jamie’s friends keep getting pushed together by their friends. They are seen as the quirky friends, but due to their neuro-syncrocies seem to “get” each other. They are sensitive to each other, especially when surrounded by family and friends. I enjoyed the relationship storyline.

Truly a well written novel filled with laughs in an opposites attract novel! I love the chemistry between our two main characters, Jamie Westenberg and Bea Wilmot. The adorable cover caught my eye, but it is author Chloe Liese's writing that totally has me under her spell! Well done!

Im late posting this review but WOW what a gorgeous book. So many things to list off that I adored:

-First off, the COVER is just stunning.
-Sensitive, realistic and at times hilarious autism rep that made my autistic self laugh and cry and just wish I could be Bea's best friend.
-A new Chloe Liese hero to lust after and add to the others that live rent-free in my head
-A fabulous cast of characters that feel completely real from the first page
-Beautifully crafted sex scenes
-smooth, witty dialogue
-expertly paced

So all in all, safe to say I loved it ALOT.

I love Chloe Liese! I've only read two of her books now but they were both amazing with well done characters and a great plot. I especially loved the enemies to friends to lovers and the slow burn this book had going on. Also shout out to the representation she had within this book.
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

I LOVED this opposites attract romance ✨

Just like their friends thought, Bea and Jamie are PERFECT for each other. I loved how much they do not like each other at first, yet slowly fall for each other over time. I am such a sucker for that trope.

Everything in this book was done so, so well. The characterization, the dialogue, the tropes, the slow burn, the pacing, the steam. I loved it all.

I have loved all of Chloe’s books, and this one was no exception. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Much Ado About Nothing is my favorite Shakespeare play, so I jumped at the chance to read this fun retelling by Chloe Liese, Two Wrongs Make a Right.

Meddling, manipulative friends force two opposites, Bea and Jamie, on a date. They have nothing in common except, now, a mutual desire to get revenge on their friends. They decide to fake date and stage a horrible break up that will hopefully stop their friends from matchmaking any more.

Big twist in this, the two main characters actually communicate and I LOVE that! I felt their chemistry and loved how unique both of them were. I guess opposites can attract.

Liese wrote the Bergman Brothers series that is so enjoyable, so it is no surprise that this one is well written and enjoyable as well. I think it sets up for a new series as well.

Chloe Liese is just fabulous. I'll be honest, I was nervous diving into a book that wasn't about Bergman brother, but I'm so glad. This hate to love book was so good. You felt the tension between the characters and it made the sweet moments that much better. A home run!!!

Chloe Loess’s strengths are writing such wonderful, healthy dynamics who are always open to communication PLUS she knows how to write an excellent sex scene. I think I’ll always enjoy the romances and characters she crafts because her baseline is just so much better than a lot of other authors.

However, I didn’t find this book to be a great Much Ado About Nothing retelling. The characters meet for the first time (in a painfully awkward extended sequence) and are missing the established rapport of the original Beatrice and Benedick. I never understood why Bea’s friend were so insistent on setting her up with a man they didn’t know, defeating the purpose of the cahoots from the original play. This felt more like a vague nod towards Shakespeare, and j wish the story hadn’t been marketed as a retelling because it simply was not.

I wanna take this moment to celebrate Chloe Liese. She has a new book coming out on 11/22 called Two Wrongs Make a Right and it’s her first traditionally published book. And it is thoughtful, smart, funny, and oh so sexy.

*Chloe and I are going to be chatting this book and all things Shakespeare, romance, and hedgehogs on 11/14 on IG Live!*

But why I want to celebrate Chloe is that she is writing fully realized characters. She’s writing Neurodiverse and queer characters who are nerdy and hot and complex. And she writes these characters and stories so beautifully - the flow of the language, the sensuality of the love scenes, the tension. Romantic art at its finest.

And now don’t even get me started on the secondary characters (I can’t wait for Jules and Kate’s stories I’m SO READY). Plus there is edging and y’all folks know I love sex in my romance books 🥵🥵🥵

I can imagine it can be stressful to go from indie pub to trade pub and I want to make sure y’all are getting your coins and hype out for Chloe. So preorder Two Wrongs and fall in love with Bea and Jamie.

Chloe. You know I love you and am so excited for others to read this wonderful book.

Chloe Liese has done it again! What a joyful book and I love how she addresses the neurodivergent rep. Will read every Chloe book for as long as she writes books.

When I saw this one was compared to Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, I knew I wanted to read it! Add this one to your TBR if you’re looking for a swoony modern day twist on the original!

This is a modern retelling of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. However, I'm not sure that I read that play, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book without having that as a context.

Jamie and Bea have the opposite of a meet-cute; they have a meet disaster. But their friends keep throwing them together. They finally decide that it would be a good idea to fake date to get everybody out of the business. Except, they realize the people that set them up might've been onto something.

Both characters are Neuro divergent, Bea is on the spectrum, and Jaime deals with anxiety. They were so respectful and sensitive with each other. The author did an excellent job of capturing the reality of being Nero divergent, Especially when being surrounded by family and friends who processed differently. I really enjoyed this book and I'm hopeful but it's the beginning of a series.

I shifted between the audiobook and a digital copy. The audio has two narrators, alternating chapters and points of view. I thought the female narrator did a better job with the male voice than the male narrator did with the female voice. Other than that, I enjoyed the audio version and would recommend it.

Thanks to the publishers for a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

“Two Wrongs Make a Right” is the first book in Chloe Liese’s Wilmot Sisters series. This book tells the story of Jamie Westenberg and Bea Wilmot in an opposites attract romance novel. Though the two despise each other, they become allies to fool their matchmaking friends. If you’re interested in a fun contemporary romance, this one is for you!

If you know me, you’ll know how much I love the fake dating trope and we got it in this book babyyy!!! I loveee everything about the main characters! Their banter, dialogue, and character growth. There are so many great sweet and spicy and heartwarming moments. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Thank you so much NetGalley, Berkley Publishing Group and author Chloe Liese for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I'm a fan of Chloe's writing and her characters🤩

TWO WRONGS MAKE A RIGHT is a retelling of Shakespeare's play Much Ado About Nothing, featuring our favorite bickering couple, Beatrice and Benedick.

TROPES- Dual POV, Mild Enemies to Lovers, Fake Dating, Slow-Burn, Neurodivergent Representation, Opposites attract, Hate to love, Great meet cute, Awesome side characters
If you like the above mentioned tropes you will absolutely adore this book, as I did.
The book is soo beautifully written 😍 💖 💕 And the COVER, its soo gorgeous and sexy.

I love Bea & Jamie, they are fun and interesting characters. Their initial meetings were disastrous & absolutely hilarious😂🤣

The thing I absolutely love abt Chloe Liese's books is the inclusivety & representation. This one has-
💟Autism Spectrum Disorder Rep
💟Anxiety Rep &
💟Queer Rep

Loved the grumpy old cats🐈 & the hedgehog🦔

The enemies to lovers & fake dating part of this book is not my favorite, I mean they're both opposites in numerous ways but the enemies part was mostly them forming prejudices because they misjudged each other.
And can we really call it FAKE dating if it was there for 3-4 chapters and then they actually started dating (I'm not complaining abt that part😁) Also there's obviously Insta Attraction.

I love the friendships & the message of 'you are enough just as you are'.

CW: Toxic relationship, Emotional abuse, Biphobia, Panic attacks.

I really want to read Bea’s sisters book!

Enemies to lovers with quirky characters?! Loved it! This book is a home run from the start. I love how awkward Jamie and Bea are yet inexcusably themselves. Love the banter, love the spice, love it all!

Chloe Liese never fails to impress me. I will read anything she writes forever.
This is an adorable opposites attract, enemies to lovers story which are some of my favorite tropes. There are so many cute moments between Jamie and Bea that had me smiling the whole time.
Chloe Liese is brilliant at writing diverse romance stories that are both funny and heart felt. This book is no different as it has her trademark charm and humor. I loved reading this and it just put a smile on my face.
