Dream Big for Kids is a beautiful picture book that encourages kids and adults to figure out what dreams God has put in their heart. They even gave ideas about what the dream could be based on several descriptions. The illustrations were absolutely beautiful and brought the words to life. My 6 and 10 year old daughters love the book and I loved it as a read aloud.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion.

Really cute book. I will say though we aren't the target audience as we're not religious. But, the illustrations are well done.

NO No NO – too much god. The Bible says, etc. Please do not mention accomplished people of different faiths and ascertain that God helped them acquire their dreams. Just no!

Dream Big for Kids is brilliant, I am so impressed with the story and how it gives kids the ability to see how special they are and how unique their gifts can be. I can’t wait to read this book with my kids during our homeschooling hours. Amazing book!

It was an ok book. I guess I expected something different. I thought the story was a bit bland, I got bored with it. But, the illustrations were beautiful!!

Dream Big for Kids is a beautifully illustrated children's book about dreaming big and following God's plan for your life and achieve your dreams - even if your circumstances don't seem ideal. It has an warm, encouraging and inspirational message throughout about how we can make the world a better place through.

To start I wasn't familiar with this author, so that may have been on me. It was a very religious-based book that mentions God and Jesus and I got nothing from the cover that indicated that it might be religious, so it caught me by surprise. I thought the art was beautiful but I wished it had more to do with the different attributes that were described vs the imagery being a storyline about a group of kids on an adventure. I also thought that there could be more practical application in how kids could work towards their dream even while they're little. The book mentions it some but not in all scenarios.

This is a well written book with wonderful illustrations designed for young children (4-8 years old).
Believing God has a special plan for children is the main theme of this book.
Exploring different dreams and ambitions of
Little ones, the book gets you to the final idea: God’s special plan for you will lead to His love and to spread that love.
This book will make a wonderful gift to little ones.

The illustrations for this book are beautiful. The story doesn't have a rhythm but is still easy to read and for children to listen.
Unfortunately, there's some strange or confusing language about God.
This book encourages children to notice what their feelings are so that they can understand what God's will and plan for their life is. This is definitely not what scripture tells us and most parents understand that feelings aren't facts.
The word "dream" is used in many ways; visions while you sleep, aspirations, hobbies, habits, talents, and commands from God. Some defining for children would be necessary as you read this. On page 26, the authors speak about the commands of Jesus as a dream. "And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: you shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matt22:37-39) This isn't some dream that God has placed inside of everyone, this is a command for the children of God.
We can look into this world and see that not everyone has this dream to love God, plenty of people hate Him. We don't need to minimize or sugarcoat the commands of God for children.
The message of following your dreams is sweet and encouraging, but minimizing the words of God make the book one that we would pass on.

Dream Big for Kids is a children’s book written by Bob Goff and Lindsey Goff Viducich.

This book is all about big dreams. It inspires kids to have big dreams, and it gives examples of dreams to get kids’ imaginations going.

My Thoughts: This is an absolutely wonderful book. It is extremely encouraging, and does a great job of inspiring kids to start reaching for their dreams right now.

The illustrations are so beautiful as well. There is an entire story being told in these pictures, and after I read the story, I went back and looked through all of the pictures again.

Then, I sat down and read this book to my eight-year old son. He also really enjoyed it.

This book would be perfect to have at home, or give as a gift. I hope they decide to make it into a board book, because I think it could be great for little kids as well, and the pictures are already well-suited for that too.

It’s a really great book, and I enjoyed it!

I would like to thank Thomas Nelson: CHILDREN’S for providing me with a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my review. Thank you!

So to begin, I’m a big fan of Bob Goff. As a mom of a 6 year who’s learning about God, I found this a be a great tool. I loved the story and the motivation and encouragement. Highly recommend.

I was sent this ARC by the publisher for my honest review.

Dream Big for Kids is a book that encourages kids to not just let life pass them by. It explains that we dream when we are asleep, but God has given us the ability to be creative and make an impact in people’s lives and the world around us.

I feel like this book is very relatable to kids. There are few big words and it lays out its ideas clearly. So many kids these days don’t dream about what they can accomplish. They are just focused on day by day. This book not only encourages kids to dream, it lets them know that God gives them creativity and the ability to dream. It’s easy to just say “dream big” but this book takes the time to show how it might look and is just as important. It also addresses that dreaming big isn’t easy and doesn’t just happen overnight. When this happens, the book tells kids that they are not alone. To reach out to those around them.

One thing that I particularly liked about this book was how the kids drawn are from different ethnicities. It further proves that God loves everyone and kids reading the book can see someone who has big dreams that looks like them.

This book encourages children to dream big, take risks and discover what the world has to offer. The messages are really positive and will be fairly easy for young children to understand. The illustrations are beautiful and really intriguing. I love the use of shadow and perspective to create depth, it almost tells the reader that you are about to join the adventure the characters are embarking on. The font is clean and is usually black on a single light coloured background (ex. a cloud or light blue sky). There are about 5 sentences per page and the text includes mainly decodable words and sight words. It is not an overwhelming amount of information or include unnecessarily difficult vocabulary. My only hesitation is that the book does mention God's dream and love, which would be a positive aspect for some families and teachers but may not be the right fit for others. I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of children in the age 4-9 range. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

I love the illustrations in this book and the concept behind it, is great! I do wish it was more story form, as I believe that would appeal to children more. It was good but I felt that after reading it once, my children would have no desire to reread it.

Very cute picture book to show children to think outside of "The Box" and dream big! There is never a dream too big!

Dream Big for Kids is a beautiful book about how some of the best dreams come when we're wide awake! I loved the diversity portrayed in this story and the stunning illustrations. The references to real life people who followed their dreams, such as the Wright Brothers and Malala Yousafzai, provide great opportunities for young children to learn more about these important dreamers and to be inspired, too! I liked that the dreams weren't job-specific but more about what your heart is drawn towards, such as helping the environment or building community or even just inspiring others. This vagueness provides room for young dreams to grow rather than being limited to a few job titles. I also really enjoyed that the book encourages young children to start making their dreams come true now, that it's a gradual thing.

I loved this book! Full of tender emotion and warmth, I think this would make a great gift to young readers or even students graduating from high school as they look towards the next chapter in their lives. Thank you NetGalley and Thomas Nelson: Children's for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

Dream Big for Kids is a great book about how your dreams are possible. I liked the different examples of types of dreams, and how God would want you to achieve them. The book is pretty religious, but in a positive way.
