The danger and intrigue that permeate this story is as priceless as the stolen treasures it revolves around.

I can't imagine being a CIA operative--I think my anxiety would kill me off before an assassin could. Cole is able to reconnect with Isabelle and has to work hard to earn back her regard. His cousin, Lars, and his (hoping-to-be-more) friend, Marit, are in town as well and this group has to solve mysteries and dodge perilous circumstances at every turn.

I loved the pacing of this book, and the suspense and mystery enshrouding this group. The twists and turns were gasp-worthy and the blossoming romances were tender and sweet. The whole vibe of the book was perfect and I loved immersing myself right into the pages.

This is a thrilling tale that will keep a reader on the edge of their seat.

Content: mild moments of danger/peril; mild romance

Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey make a great team.

Despite two couples being the focus of this book, all four individuals feel like fully fleshed out characters, something rare in novels with more than one main character.

Marit and Lars are a great combination together. It's great to see them bringing their own skillsets to the table; they might not be CIA, but they are far from useless.

Cole and Isabelle frustrated me initially; she repeatedly goes on about how hurt she was that he hadn't contacted her, but had she tried to contact him?! Their character growth was good to see though, and how they were able to work together even when uncertain about where things stood.

A satisfying ending, which felt complete even though we will hopefully see more of these characters and of the other cousins in future books.

The Danger with Diamonds by Traci Hunter Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey is an exciting romantic suspense with not one but two romantic plot lines!

I loved this sequel to Heirs of Falcon Point and being able to get to know Cole & Isabelle and Lars & Marit better! It was fun to read a story from four perspectives and see two different relationships develop alongside each other while trying to put together all the different pieces of the mystery.

This story had a good mix of action, adventure, romance, friendship, banter, mystery, and new found family. There was definitely a lot packed into this story, but it all came together so nicely and never felt overwhelming or messy.

I loved how all four of the main characters were able to contribute to the solving of the mystery in unique ways. They all have special talents and unique backgrounds and experiences and without any one of them, the story wouldn’t be the same. I especially loved that although Lars and Marit are not undercover government agents they were so valuable and noticed things and had connections that Cole and Isabelle didn’t even though Cole and Isabelle are agents.

I really enjoyed the complexity of the mystery! There were so many different pieces to the puzzle and I knew they all had to fit together somehow, but could not quite figure it out on my own. I loved that the resolution was unpredictable but made sense considering all the different pieces. I loved the subtlety of the hints and how tiny seemingly unimportant details were what ultimately tied everything together! It makes me want to go back and read it again to try and find all the hints I missed the first time!

Overall this was a great read! The characters were diverse and lovable and unique. The mystery was complex but came together really nicely. If you enjoy multiple perspectives and romantic plot lines, a good balance of suspense and romance, and unique, intelligent diverse characters, you should read The Danger with Diamonds.

The Danger with Diamonds brings us back into the lives of two of the cousins (Cole & Lars) from Falcon Point. Not only do we get these returning characters but we also get an appearance of a Ghost from Traci’s Guardians series.
Set in the city of Vienna there is some great suspense and plenty of sweet romance! I didn’t love it quite as much as the first book but it was still a fun read!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!! I loved it and didn't want to put it down once I started reading. I loved Heirs of Falcon Point and I'd been looking forward to this book for months, so when life interferred with my reading (as in I had to cook dinner) I was not happy!

I loved the four main characters, and it was fun to see Lars and Cole working together in addition to navigating their blossoming relationships with Marit and Isabelle. Stolen jewelry, espionage, romance, and spies. . .what's not to love? There's also a lot of humor mixed in with the danger. I loved when Cole was teaching Lars how to dance! The authors also mixed in quite a few romantic scenes with some swoony kisses. *sigh* I don't know how they manage it but you can't tell this book was written by two authors. The story is seamless and flows so well. I'm already looking forward to the next book!!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher Covenant Communications via NetGalley. I also purchased a copy for my personal library. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.

This book takes the reader on a wild adventure with some really great characters! I loved every bit of it. If you haven’t read Heirs of Falcon Point yet, you really should before reading this one. It’s such a great book though, you’ll want to read it anyway!

I loved the way there are four main characters in this book, Cole, Lars, Marit and Isabelle. And you see the events of the story through their unique perspectives. It just keeps the story flowing. And the reader interested in what will happen next.

Cole and Isabelle both work for the CIA. They’ve done a great job keeping their covers. So that even Lars, Cole’s cousin, doesn’t know what he does for a living. Lars is a photographer. And Marit is a model. These four just work so well together. I loved that Cole gets permission for Marit and Lars to help in the little way they each can. And that they help him with his relationship as well.

This book has so much action and craziness in it. You’ll want to keep reading until you get to the very end!

If you're not sure what kind of book you want to read, The Danger With Diamonds will fit any reader's needs. Do you want romance? You get a double dose of that in this book. How about a little action adventure? Hold onto your hats. There is action in every chapter that keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat. If you like a book full of mystery and suspense, then this book will keep you guessing all the way through. Maybe you're in the mood for some humor. This novel also has plenty of that.

I loved the original book in this series, Heirs of Falcon Point. I thought that there was no way any sequel would be as good as the first. I'm happy to say that The Danger With Diamonds completely blew away that theory. I loved this book so much. The four main characters, Lars, Cole, Marit, and Isabelle all contribute so much to the story. I loved how these two authors seamlessly wove their stories together. Some other things I loved were the setting, carriage rides, roses, ballgowns, robberies, kidnappings, and of course...lots of sparkling diamonds. Oh, I forgot to mention the long, anticipated kisses. **sigh**

You don't have to read Heirs of Falcon Point to enjoy this novel but it will make a more rounded experience. Congrats to the authors for writing such an amazing book. I know that readers are going to devour this book and be wanting more. Don't wait to pick up your copy and start reading this 5-star romantic, action-adventure and be blown away from the first page until the last.

I was happy to dive back in to the lives of some of the Heirs of Falcon Point characters, and was happily surprised to see a character from the Guardian series entwined in this one. I love cross-over stories!
This was a quick read for me, and I'm looking forward to continuing on with the series.

The Danger with Diamonds continues the story started in Heirs of Falcon Point. Although this book could stand alone, the full backstory is told in Heirs of Falcon Point, which introduces the characters starring in this tale. Cole and Isabelle, along with Lars and Marit, liven up their lives with stolen diamonds, jewelry heists, several villains, and lots of dangerous situations.

Plenty of action, adventure, suspense, and a generous dollop of romance kept me reading and guessing. With a backdrop of beautiful Vienna, this book has much to recommend it to those who enjoy romantic suspense.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy from Covenant Communications through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

The romances were sweet, but understated, in a good way. The suspense was spot on. There was a great twist and fun moments that kept me on my toes.

I had a hard time shifting points of view as quickly as they did. As a new fan of suspense that may be a tool they use more often that I’m just not used to, but there were times it pulled me out rather than sucked me in as I attempted to shift with the narrator.

I like the pace of suspense and this one had great pacing. There are a few times where I find myself skimming suspense books more than other genres. That may have more to do with my personality and what I’m used to reading than anything else. But I loved their red herrings, and how realistic they made even the more dramatic moments.

I especially loved the opportunities they gave Lars and Marit to be heroes in very realistic and civilian ways. It put a very relatable and genuine feel on the novel.

This is an enthralling book with fast paced adventure, intrigue and romance. This book focuses on Marit, Lars, Isabelle and Cole. I now want to go visit Vienna and see some of the places in the book and try some of the food.

Such a FABULOUS story! It flowed so well from the last book. I kept trying to guess which author wrote which part, but I finally just settled in and enjoyed the story because it doesn’t matter who wrote it. Ha ha! These authors are superb and I read everything they write.

Incredible!

This sequel is fast-paced and action packed! This book follows Cole (a CIA agent) who is searching for his family's jewels and courting Isabelle. (Much different than the roles he's used to playing as a CIA agent!)
The book was satisfying with plenty of action, a little bit of mystery, and wonderful romance!

This is the second book in the Heirs of Falcon Point series. I love these authors so I was excited to read another book by them. I also was so excited to get to see characters from the previous book. I loved getting to know more about each of the characters and how the treasure has affected them. It was fun to read about them and follow them in this suspenseful read. I liked how they worked together to solve the mystery. I liked how this book pulled you in from the first page and kept you engaged. I would definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read more books in this series.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I absolutely loved this book! It seriously has everything in it!!! Danger, suspense, humor (like I was giggling so hard over these characters), covert operations, carriage rides, jewels, bank heists, beautiful gowns, penguin suits (ok, just tuxedos), ghosts (not real ones, you have to read Traci's other books to understand that reference), fantastic characters, and two couples trying to figure out their feelings.

Seriously I love this book! I read an early copy and then when the book released, I instantly downloaded the audiobook and listened to it again. I'm thinking about listening to it again soon. These characters are just so much fun! Have you read the first book, Heirs of Falcon Point? You don't have to read it, but honestly, it is soooo good and worth reading as well. It's a prequel novel for this series and sets up who these cousins are and the jewels and so much more! Definitely worth the read or listen (yes, I've read it a couple times and listened to it a couple times already as well-I can't help it, it's that good!!!)!!!

Cole, Lars, Marit, and Isabelle will keep you turning pages, cheering them on and waiting to see what great one liners will come out of their mouths next. And what sweet gestures they might have up their sleeves. I loved that all four of these characters were in this adventure together.

Content: Clean. There are some mild moments of peril. Some fights, some guns but nothing overly graphic. The romance is all squeaky clean with only some kisses.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. But have also purchased my own copy! All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

"The Danger with Diamonds" is a romantic suspense that occurs after the events in "Heirs of Falcon Point." You don't need to read that book to understand this one, but, frankly, I think it was the better book. The viewpoint just seemed distant in this story, like we're watching a movie with a narrator rather than inside someone's head.

I liked the romance between Lars and Marit. They weren't communicating quite so much after life took them to different places and they got busy with their jobs. However, Lars set up a get together during a break. Once they cleared up that both wanted to pursue a romantic relationship, Marit quickly forgave Lars and they enjoyed being together.

Cole likes a challenge which may be the main reason behind his continued pursuit of Isabelle. Granted, she had reason to think things were over between them after months of no contact with him, but it's all about her hurt feelings. There's no friendly "hey, glad to see you're still alive and doing well" when they meet again but "What, you're not even here to see me?!"

Cole and Isabelle worked together well enough as CIA agents, but Cole could do nothing right on the romantic front. She didn't easily forgive past hurts and wasn't interested in the reasons why he had neglected her. Likely, this is how their relationship will always be: him working hard to beg forgiveness for unintended hurts (which he already resents) and her reluctant to forgive him. She should know that her desire to be the main focus of a man's attention is doomed with a CIA agent who travels a lot, especially one who has just been reunited with long-lost cousins.

There was plenty of suspense as people keep attacking Cole (and those helping him) as he investigated a case. There was no sex or bad language.

This is such a fun adventure! I loved catching up with a few of the characters from Heirs of Falcon Point. This book follows two of the cousins- Lars and Cole. When the family's jewels are stolen, Cole and Lars are on a mission to have them recovered. It was fun to have Marit and Isabelle along for the ride. Lots of twists along the way, and I enjoyed trying to see how all the dots connected and who was involved. There were plenty of suspenseful moments that made it hard to put down. I loved getting to reconnect with these characters and this story!

I have anticipated this book ever since I read the Heirs of Falcon Point! I loved that book and this is a close runner up! The family jewels are in the limelight and cousins Cole and Lars are thrown into danger again. Bank heist, car chase and a glittery extravaganza, make for an intriguing and entertaining story. With the teasing banter and sweet, but sometimes clumsy, romance made the story endearing. This book has it all. The knowledge and research is evident about all things undercover and CIA operatives. The setting is in beautiful Vienna. Some trigger points are fighting, guns, bombings, all are very discreet and add to the telling of the story. I highly recommend reading both books in Falcon Point series. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a great second book to the series. It caught my attention in the first chapter and I had a hard time putting it down. Can be read without reading the first in the series but I loved that it continues the stories of Maritt, Lars, Cole and Isabelle. Great action and mystery.
