What an absolute wild ride from beginning to ending! It's fast-paced, has loads of intrigue and nefarious characters, and the romance is sweet and swoony.

Despite being told in four POVs, the narrative is easy to follow and it informs the reader will of everything going on.

I thoroughly enjoyed the European setting, the history, and the family connection to the first book in the series.

Make sure you read the first book before reading this one.

I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

All the stars or in this case diamonds for this book! I love it when reading a book feels like watching an amazing movie in your head. The Danger With Diamonds was that & more. Romance, humor, action, & suspense, this book has it all! There’s also gorgeous jewelry & high fashion gowns.

I devoured this book! It’s the highly anticipated next book in the Heirs of Falcon Point series and boy does it deliver. From the get go, there’s non-stop action beginning with a stake out & stolen diamonds. From there, it keeps building to the exciting conclusion.

Hoping for more than friendship, Lars invites Marit, while the two are in Vienna, to the bank vault while he photographs the precious Falcon Point jewelry. His cousin Cole, a secret CIA agent, also shows up with a loose bag of diamonds he needs to temporarily keep in the vault.

Cole is hoping to rekindle his relationship with Isabelle who’s working undercover at the bank. This proves harder than he thinks. Isabelle was hurt when Cole left for months and didn’t contact her. It’s going to take some pretty grand gestures to win her over again.

The four get caught up in a bank robbery where some of the Flacon Point jewels are stolen, but who’s behind the heist and is there someone on the inside who’s responsible? Lars, Marit, Isabelle & Cole must work together to find the suspects and recover the family jewels.

The romance between these two couples is so good! Carriage rides, romantic gestures, a library I’d love to visit someday, waltzing, and swoony kisses were some of my favorite moments. The witty banter between Lars and Cole is fantastic. I loved Cole trying to teach Lars to dance and the good natured teasing. The action is suspenseful, non-stop, & keeps you on the edge of your seat! Isabelle has some mad driving & fighting skills! There’s also some great side characters in Jasmine & Cass, who Traci Abramson fans will recognize from her Guardian series!

This is definitely one you’ll want on your TBR list! It can be read as a standalone, but is more enjoyable if you’ve read Heirs of Falcon Point. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the authors and publisher. All opinions are my own and I was not required to provide a positive review.

#BookRevew: THE DANGER WITH DIAMONDS by Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey

I enjoyed Heirs of Falcon Point so much that I was happy that a companion novel was to be released. It didn’t disappoint. Even though this can be read as a stand alone, it’s still best to read the first book.

Cole and Lars are two of the heirs of Falcon Point and we get to read their stories in The Danger with Diamonds. Romance readers will be happy about this book. It’s a double romance. Cole is a CIA operative. He is always on the go. Isabelle was ghosted by Cole for months. When their paths cross again with the bank robbery, they start to fall for each other. I am glad that Lars and Marit are back to good health after the bad accident in the first book. They are in Vienna to document all of the Falcon Point’s jewellery.

The suspense and danger kept me on edge. I didn’t know what they would discover and how things would turn out. We are also treated with the sights in Vienna. The Austrian National Library is now on my bucket list to visit.

I have enjoyed all these likeable characters. It was nice getting to know more about each of them as they spent more time together. Their individual strengths made their search for the pink diamonds an engaging one. I would love to see Isabelle and Marit in their fabulous gowns. I will always remember their request for a mango smoothie because it’s my favorite as well.

This was a nice book to reconnect with old friends as well as meet new ones. It was a rough ride seeking the truth but a captivating one. I have enjoyed it so much.

Wonderful follow up to Heirs of Falcon Point. For reasons I don’t understand this is #1 and the book setting up this new series is #0. Co-written by Abramson and Bessey this is an exciting international spy mystery. The setting is the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria and I love that I’ve been to many of the locations the characters visit. CIA agent Cole recovers diamonds during a rescue operation and he secures them at the bank where fellow agent Isabelle works. It is also the same bank where the Falcon family jewels are being stored and his cousin Lars happens to be there documenting them. Cole ask Lars to evaluate the diamonds they’ve recovered. Lars is in a fairly new relationship with Merit, a model. All together the next day they are at the bank when a robbery occurs with the recovered diamonds and the family jewelry as the primary targets. The four work together with the help of Ghost trying to figure out who is behind the theft and how it ties to a possible mole in the agency.

Some parts are so sweet and fun and I love there is romance in the air for both couples. Cole and Lars have fun banter between them. And Merit and Isabelle are wonderful as new friends who are equally helpful in solving the case. Everyone gets moments to shine. There is just the right amount of romance, mystery and action. And as I said the locations enhanced by enjoyment as I could envision places like the palace and national library as I read.

This can be read as a stand alone, but I liked knowing the background of the MCs from the set up novel. The original Heirs of Falcon Point was written by four authors so I assume the other two authors are working on the next book in the series following other characters. I will look for more from the current authors and any books that continue this series. This publisher and authors write clean books for language. There is some kissing and minimal violence (shooting and fighting). Thank you to NetGalley, Covenant Communications and the authors for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Cole Bridger and Lars Hendriks from Heirs of Falcon Point are the heartthrobs of The Danger With Diamonds. This isn’t only romance. There are plenty of suspenseful moments and enjoyable one liners.
Lars is able to finally let Marit, a model, know how he feels for her. Cole has some major repair to do in creating a relationship with Isabelle. The reader first encountered all four characters in Heirs of Falcon Point. The reader will likely be more invested in the story if you’ve already survived the wild ride in that book.
The book centers in Vienna, Austria, which I would love to visit someday. I enjoyed the descriptions of Schroenbrunn Palace and the ball the characters attend.
The action will keep you guessing and possibly make you want to steer clear of loose diamonds and bank boxes.
I enjoyed reading The Danger With Diamonds and I think you’ll love it too if you pick it up.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the early copy of this book. With love to Traci and Sian for the fabulous story.

I loved Heir’s of Falcon Point so I was excited to continue with some of the characters. Cole is a CIA agent and Lars photographs gemstones. They are cousins who are brought together through a mysterious family fortune in the first book. This time, Cole is working a case involving diamonds, some of their family inheritance is stolen in a heist and they are thrown together once more to solve the mystery and get their gems back. It read like a great spy movie full of tension, action, and a bit of romance.

“"If you think I'm going to dance with you, you have another thing coming.”
"You don't have to dance with me. Just show me the steps.”
"Not happening.””

This exchange between Lars and Cole had me dying with laughter. Their relationship is so good and down right hilarious at times. I love that they have been come so close after meeting each other in the first book. This book was filled with great one liners and funny moments.

Traci Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey did such a great job co-writing this book. I loved that we got to learn more about their characters from Heirs of Falcon Point. It’s easy to lose yourself in this book and not worry about who wrote which part. Their writing style blend well together which definitely made this book a good read.

I enjoyed watching Lars and Marit take the next step from friends to dating. It was sweet and cute. I love that they helped Cole with his blunder of a relationship with Isabelle. That man is smart when it comes to his CIA job, but he’s not the best with dating. But he definitely improves by the end of the book!

I loved that these four characters work together to solve case together. Did I slap my forehead when Cole got Lars and Marit involved and he thought he would be able to keep his secret of working for the CIA from them? Yes I did.

I love that Marit and Isabelle were such great female characters. They each had their own strengths and were helpful in solving the case. It was nice seeing them help each other navigate their relationship with Cole and Lars.

This book was face pace and filled with a ton of action which I loved. This is the sequel to Heirs of Falcon point and really should be read after you read the first one.

These thoughts and opinion are my own. Thanks NetGalley for the free ARC.

A gripping read filled with intrigue, romance, and drama.

The long awaited follow up to the Heirs of Falcon Point, doesn't disappoint with well developed, likable characters. I was so happy that this book features Lars, Cole, Isabelle, and Marit who I met in the previous book, but their stories weren't focused on as much as others, so this book makes perfect sense.

A well written read, with compelling characters and relationships to root for throughout. There was a lot going on in this book, with a brilliant balance of mystery, romance, and suspense. I loved Marit and Lars together, they were just so cute, and I adored their scenes together. I also loved the lush setting, and the stunning scenery throughout the book.

Overall, an excellent novel, engaging and compelling, filled with suspense, with clean content.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Danger with diamonds is a romantic suspense that will keep the pages turning in this continuation of the Falcon Point series.

I was a big fan of the first novel, which introduced readers to the Falcon point legacy and the scattered descendants that were reunited by the book's end. This novel picks up some time after and follows cousins, Lars and Cole while they work to protect their family's treasured jewels and form their respective love lives.

I loved that this novel was equal parts suspense and romance. The relationships developed at a steady pace while not distracting from the mystery elements. All characters contributed to the action and plot in some form and it was great to see each have a turn in the spotlight. (No unhelpful characters in this read) While I found the pace to slow towards to middle, it picked right back up again as the plot turned.

It was fun to be able to find hidden gems while reading like mentions from characters from other series, and the possibility for another book as well.

While this book can be read as a stand-alone, I would highly recommend reading the first book in order to get the full backstory of Falcon Point and its treasures as well as the beginnings of the relationship between Cole and Isabelle.

Hats off to two incredibly talented authors for bringing their unique voices together to create this fun read!

What a fantastic addition to this series. Sian and Traci are a powerhouse team and wouldn’t expect anything less than a phenomenal book. I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the mystery and suspense with a touch of romance. Perfection!!!

This story has it all! Suspense, mystery, romance.... Anything you could want. Diamonds? check! High fashion? check! Family? check!

If you have read The Heirs of Falcon Point, this continuation brings back some of the characters and gives more of the story.

I loved it and it became difficult to put down when life happens. The characters are real and the chemistry is great. For a book written by two authors, there is a solid voice.

This story doesn't give away its secrets easily. There are bad guys and false trails and wonderful Easter eggs for the worlds built by Traci Abramson.

While there are characters from other books, this one can stand alone without much trouble. If you want a richer experience, read The Heirs of Falcon Point and Not Dead Yet by Traci Hunter Abramson first. Either way, the book is worth a read. It is a perfect spy/romance/suspense.

I received an early copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest review.

"I need a favor"

"This is becoming a habit...”

Before I get started with my review, let me tell these two authors that I am like Cole in this situation & 'I need a favor' (and yes, this is probably becoming a habit with me) but, I NEED MORE of your books!

They are perfection!

These books are unique with multiple authors contributing to the storyline and the writing is seamless.

Absolute perfection, my friends and you really do need to be reading them!

Full synopsis in the comments.

We need to chat about this book and I need all the character spaces I can get!

Let me tell you what you're going to get from this book:

Humor? ✔️

Suspense? ✔️✔️

Romance? ✔️✔️& double ✔️

THIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC! It has been dubbed a sleep stealer-accurate-I couldn't put it down. I loved the dual stories & multiple points of view. The suspense was intense in the best way-keep the pages turning, but let me sleep through the night...at least once you finish the book😉 The romance was top notch, & the little bouts of humor/banter make this a favorite!

When reading this book be aware that you will lose sleep, skip your to-do list, crave viennese food & desperately want to travel to Vienna. You might also be left wanting to practice combat moves & nascar evasive skills.

All of the stars! Two thumbs up!

GET YOURSELF THIS BOOK!

It could be read as a stand alone, but if you haven't read Heirs of Falcon Point yet, do yourself a favor and add that to cart too because it’s FANTASTIC!

Thanks to the publisher & NetGalley for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

I have always loved both of these authors. This is the second book in this series and it still amazes me that 2-4 authors can come together to write one story. They mesh together so well that you can't tell who is writing which part. I loved this book!

I was so excited to read the sequel to The Heirs of Falcon Point. The Danger with Diamonds is a fast-paced adventure that follows some favorite characters from Heirs. It was fun to get a continuation of their stories!

The story is set in Vienna, and the descriptions of the food and sites (especially the library!) made me add Vienna to my travel list!

I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a clean, romantic spy tale.

Thank you to NetGalley, Covenant Communications, and the authors for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

It's finally here! The sequel to The Heirs of Falcon Point was another fantastic story by some great authors. These two authors know how to write together. I couldn't tell this story was written by one more than one person and if I had to guess as to who wrote which part- I am sure I would fail. It definitely had the feel of one of Traci Abramson's CIA books with intrigue, suspense, and some surprise characters. I love this series. The Heirs to Falcon Point was a better book but this one stands right up there with it.

Wow! Another amazing book by two awesome authors. The Danger with Diamonds is a companion novel to Heirs of Falcon Point. I was beyond excited to hear that there was going to be another book. I knew that some of the characters still had a story that needed to be told. It was fun to see Lars and Cole again and get to read their story.
Cole was a CIA Operative. He was used to being undercover and working under pressure but he was not used to courting a girl. It was sweet to read about Cole fighting for Isabelle, but Cole also had to figure out how to find his family’s jewels. Isabelle was so cool. I loved how she was able to handle herself and yet she knew when she needed help. Isabelle was hurt when Cole ghosted her but she was willing to put aside her feelings to get to the bottom of the heist. However, as Cole and Isabelle spent time together, they found themselves falling for each other.
Lars was a sweetheart. I really liked him. You didn’t get to see much of him in the last book so it was cool to learn more about him. He wasn’t an operative but he wasn’t willing to let his family’s jewels just be taken. It was cool to see Lars step up and fight. Marit was also wonderful. She was one of Lars’ closest friends and it was sweet to read about them falling in love. Marit had to learn to trust Lars and his family especially as things got complicated. Marit and Lars always had a connection but as they interacted, it grew to more.
It was interesting to read about Cole and Lars and see them falling in love. I loved both of the characters and reading about their romance. They were both unique characters and they made the book fun to read. All of the characters had a part to play that was exciting to see. The characters were likable and I was able to connect with them. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how this story was going to end. The plot was engaging and I didn’t know what they were going to find out about the bank heist.
The Danger with Diamonds is a must read! It is an exciting suspenseful romance. I felt as if this was the perfect blind of romance and suspense. I am crossing my fingers that there will be more books to come in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

This book follows Cole and Lars following the events in Heirs of Falcon Point. If you enjoyed the first book you will definitely want to give this book a read. This book has a little bit of everything-romance, humor, and lots of suspense. I could not put this book down and really enjoyed the story.

THE DANGER WITH DIAMONDS by TRACI HUNTER ABRAMSON and SIAN ANN BESSEY follows after Heirs of Falcon Point and is a book I have been waiting for for a long time. I am definitely not disappointed and recommend this novel as highly as I did the first one in the series. Although I suggest that you read the books in sequence, The Danger With Diamonds can easily stand alone.
I love the descriptions of the setting in Vienna and the interesting characters, most of whom we get to know in the first story.
Cole Rogers is an undercover CIA agent who is pretending to work for the US Embassy. While rescuing his colleague from a hostage situation he comes across a bag of very rare and valuable pink diamonds. His cousin Lars Hendriks is a jewelry expert and photographer who has been called to the Bankhaus Steiner to catalogue the treasure that was buried before the second world war at Falcon Point, and to look at these diamonds as well Isabelle Roberts, ,also an undercover CIA agent, is the banker who was involved with the safekeeping of the treasure. Marit Jansen is a beautiful model who Lars invites to help him photograph the jewels.
Of course there are also other characters including a criminal element who want to do away with those who are after them to inorder to hide their money laundering, jewelry heists and murder……
This is a well written book with everything you need in a romantic thriller to keep you enthralled.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Covenant Communications. The opinions in this review arecompletely my own.
