Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for my copy of Photo Finished.
We follow up and coming photographer Liv Spyers navigate her first major job. But that jobs takes a turn when it leaves a picture perfect crime scene. Now is up to Liv to figure out who done it.
It was the perfect cozy mystery with a little bit of romance and a great cast of characters. I could not put it down. There were twist and turns that I did not see coming which made the reading even more enjoyable.
Also can't wait for a second installment. I really would love to continue this series if it is one I really hope it is.

From F-stops to the F-train, Liv’s expert eye makes her the ultimate cozy detective in Christin Brecher’s Photo Finished. Photographer Liv Spyer and her trusty camera lens charms readers (and the NYC elite) without ever losing focus on the investigation. Expert composition and timing culminates in a portrait of a complex mystery!

This was a surprisingly good read, although it was a bit convoluted and i struggled to keep up with all the different characters. Liv Spyers is unwillingly thrust into solving a murder of a prominent NYC businessman when she alerts the cops to her new employer standing over his corpse at the gala she's photographing. When the cops refuse to even consider a different suspect it's up to her to figure out who killed him, and the list of suspects is long and is growing by the minute. From his partner and his wife, to the manager of the non-profit, to his cousin and her husband- there are many people who were angry enough with him to wish him harm.
Teaming up with an aft insurance agent who turns out to be an undercover art theft officer, Liv is wading through photos and breaking into apartments to uncover the truth.
The end was a bit weak- I didn't suspect the murderer but also felt that it was a bit of reaching to make him the killer. It was pretty random and really didn't have a strong enough motive. But the book was a solid read, fast pased and entertaining.
