“Permission to quit, to change, to live in alignment with priorities” writes Becky Vollmer, in the opening chapter. These were options she had to give to herself first before she could teach others how to let go of a life that isn’t working for you anymore. “We all have choices; we just have to be brave enough to make them,” Vollmer says. This well-written guide, full of anecdotes from her own struggle to leave a corporate golden handcuffs career and an addictive drinking habit, gives readers the courage and steps to venture out from their uncomfortable “comfort” zones into uncertainty.

I enjoyed the first part of this book. Felt concrete and actionable. Part two is about spirituality which feels out of place here. Part three purports to be the action plan, but, honestly, the whole thing is a bit off point by this stage. I did not finish this one.

I absolutely loved this book! I found it hard to put down. I highly recommend reading it! You won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. The author has a good sense of humor. I thought the book was very inspiring. I believe it will help a lot of people

I’m always here for self help with included journal prompts that get to the nitty gritty messy parts of ourselves we try and hide. No where to go but up from there!
