A cute Christmas romance! I loved the cats in this story so much and i loved how each chapter was headed with a different cat and traits, so cute! The FMC and MMC were adorable and I really connected with them throughout the story. Honestly, this book just made me wish for a cat cafe near me and made me sad I don't have one, A fun, fast romance that just happens to be set during Christmas time, plus cats!

Kara’s cat cafe really needs a Christmas miracle - and that miracle might just be marketing genius Ben.

So I really thought this would be super cheesy - like it is set in a Cat Cafe and I’m not a cat person. However I really liked it, and I’m impatiently waiting on the sequel from the library. (Only ~3 weeks left! I’m 3rd in line!)

This one was super cute! The grumpiness, the growth, the cats! I just enjoyed seeing how these two developed throughout the story, and worked together. Just a fun concept for a holiday romance!

A sweet and sappy second chance romance and add adorable kitties! YESSSS!

Kara and Ben’s chemistry is hot! I loved the setting and Christmas time feel to this one.

Both characters are likeable and fun to read about.

I love cats so I HAD to read this one, and I'm so glad I did because I loved this one so much. Christmas, Coffee, and Cats - what's not to love?

As a cat, coffee and “cat cafe” lover, I really wanted to love this one too! Unfortunately I couldn’t connect to the characters and the story fell flat for me.

This one was a bit of a struggle for me just because I am not a cat lover and the characters are a bit grumpy. I did enjoy the romance aspect of the book and thought it was well done. If you are a cat lover, I would highly recommend this book during the holidays.

Thanks so much to Forever and NetGalley for an e-ARC!

As a major cat lover I was so excited to read this one during the holiday season. I loved that each chapter had new cat art. I will say the timing of reading this one was bad for me personally as my cat ended up passing away unexpectedly and it made it hard for me to finish the story. With that situation aside I felt as though there was just too much unnecessary drama which made me not enjoy the story as much. If you're a pet lover I would suggest reading this one but also mention that there are other holiday books centered around animals that are better in my opinion.

this was SOOO CUTE. I went in thinking this was going to be just a cozy Christmas romance, and it was, but it was also so much deeper than that. The characters were funny, sweet and kind. We see them actually become enemies to lovers and also heal from traumatic past relationships together. Did I mentioned there’s a chaotic rescue kitten? The side characters were also the best and I wanted to know more about them. If you are an animal lover who wants an adorable Christmas romance, definitely pick this book up!

Genre: romcom
Quick summary: Veterinarian Kara was swindled by her ex-fiance, and she's trying to pick up the pieces at her new cat cafe/vet clinic. Sadly, business isn't great, so she reluctantly lets marketing expert Ben work his magic to try to turn things around.

I meant to read this book last Christmas (oops), but I'm glad I picked it up this year! I'm not a huge cat person, by author Codi Gary did a great job making me root for these furry felines and their fierce advocate Kate. "Rescuing the business" is one of my fave romance tropes because of the teamwork involved - I loved how Kara and Ben learned to lean on each other and use their skills to build a better future for the cafe. This is a clean romance with plenty of Christmas spirit and cozy vibes, as well as fun punny cat names! 3.5 rounded to 4.

Thank you to Forever Publishing for providing an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I had a hard time with this book. I wanted to like it so badly. I tried so hard, but the characters just didn't speak to me and felt one dimensional. The plot just felt too stereotypical. In the end, I couldn't finish it.

A sweet romance surrounding the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I kept thinking this reminded me of the cat cafe show that used to be on TV. I have had cats all of my life and while the romance was the showcase, I can say the author describes cats pretty well. I rooted for Kara and Ben to not only discover how good they'd be for each other but also to succeed with the business.

Kara is a veterinarian who is working with her friend at the Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe in the hopes to find forever homes for the cats that are there and raise enough money to start her veterinarian business. But the plan comes to a screeching halt as they start to go into the red barely making by. Ben works in marketing and will be doing everything he can to help Kara and her friends business by Christmas.

So this is the perfect time to start reading this book I have to say I'm surprised I didn't pick it up sooner. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing how Kara was working hard to get past her fall from grace after what her ex has put her through. With that being said social media does play a big role in her possible success with her business but it's also what brought her downfall so now with Ben being in the picture as a romantic interest as well as helping with her business things get a big complicated. So it was interesting seeing how things played out because it wasn't smooth sailing and it was interesting how they got past certain things. Then there's also the ex of Kara who seems to want to mess things up. As for Ben he also has his history and with the holidays coming up it isn't going to be easy but it was interesting how he was able to to settle what was going on in his life. As for the romance aspect I really enjoyed it it remained clean which I appreciate. Overall if you are looking for a holiday read definitely pick this one up if your cat lover you're going to like this highly recommend.

I wanted to read this book for the title and cover alone lol. I’m so glad that it was much more than that once I read and finished. Your typical feel-good rom com but with some depth and a cute storyline (which I appreciate). This story reminded me so much of me and my ex bf, he hated cats until we got together. I love the grumpy x sunshine trope so this was right up my alley. I would recommend this to anyone.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to get the audio version through my local library. Which by the way I highly recommend just reading the book. The Boston accent just got under my skin.
I was excited because the cover is super cute and who doesn't like a good Christmas story. But the novel you completely forget that it takes place during the Christmas season. The story plot is absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic. Who on earth in the late 20's early 30's refuses to use social media and doesn't know how to use zelle? The whole plot why the main female character hates social media is absolutely the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Who on earth has a business and refuses to have anyone help with promoting their business (since they are going under?).
The main female character is an absolute bully and horrible person. I couldn't stand to even be around her and the main male character should have ran for the hills. I don't like any of the characters and they seemed very phoney and unrealistic. When men get together they do not have those kinds of chats with each other. It was over the top cheesy dialogue from a very bad Hallmark movie. Sorry but this was a DNF for me I made it more that half way through.
