This was such a cute, cozy Christmas read. The story was so wholesome and I enjoyed seeing both the main characters heal from their past traumas, overcome their trust issues, and fall for one another.

Towards the end of the book, there were some frustrating miscommunication issues and the characters dragged out their reconciliation. The saving grace here was that it was a happy ending for everyone involved, including all of the cats!

I also enjoyed the short descriptions of the cats at the start of each chapter.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was the cutest. Being a cat lover myself, I found Ben to become more likable as the story went on. It doesn’t get better than this. Cats and Christmas go two and two. I loved the HEA ending. Perfect quick read for this holiday season.

A Cat Cafe Christmas is out now where books are sold. (Insert smile)

This was so cute! I especially recommend for cat lovers! I liked how Ben and Kara's relationship developed over the story, but the highlight of this book for me was 100% the cat café setting and all of the cute cats. The little cat ads at the beginning of each chapter were a nice touch that had me smiling.

Also a note- "Christmas" is in the title, but the content is fairly light on Christmas, so it definitely can be enjoyed at any time of year.

This one was super cute! This follows Ben and Kara - two opposites that mesh well together. Ben is the organized and centered marketing guy who had his heart brutally broken by his fiancee and brother. Kara is the shy, but sassy veterinarian that owns a coffee shop and partial shelter and clinic for cats who had her heart destroyed by a conman.

Ben, not an animal person, finds a kitten in his house while renovating and fosters him while Kara tries to find a furever home for the little terror. And in return, Ben tries to help Kara and Charity (her business partner) with some marketing ideas to help their business succeed because they truly do so much for the animals.

This one literally had me swooning. Cats. Christmas. Closed door romance. This was just too cute, sweet, and genuine for words.

A Cat Cafe Christmas

If you love cats, romance and holiday season- this one is for you! The chapters were absolutely adorable with pictures of cats and a brief introduction of why you should adopt them. I was absolutely in love with the idea of this one. It was a light hearted romance, felt like a hallmark film. Wasn't fully invested in the romance but really enjoyed the fast read.

Every November I start wanting to read everything Christmas. A Cat Cafe Christmas was the perfect match. Our main character Kara runs a non profit cat Cafe/animal rescue. She is struggling financially and needs a Christmas miracle.

Ben meets Kara and comes up with a strategy plan to help save the cafe and get Kara to her main goal, if opening up a clinic. Along the way they have to learn to work together and most of all, learn to trust each other and work together.

I really enjoyed this light read. It was super cozy and a cute HEA.

What an enjoyable little story! Ultimately, the adorable preface to each chapter with a little cat introduction and all the fun cat names was this books saving grace. I did find Kara and Bens relationship to be a bit forced, and if the cat cafe were real, they would still be struggling to pay their bills, as the amount of free product and expensive freebies they gave away in this book was improbable. Overall, enjoyable wintery-read filled with my favourite furry creatures.

A CAT CAFE CHRISTMAS
Codi Gary
Christmas Romance

In this adorable, Christmas romance. Karla is struggling to keep her cafe/cat shelter open. When she meets a marketing genius Ben, his plan may just save the cafe and cat shelter open. This was so good I read it in one day. A nice change of pace from the romance books I usually read that usually include sex. This book was very clean, with not a sex scene in sight. I would give this a solid 5 of 5 stars and will be recommending It to anyone and everyone I know.

This book was so adorable! The cat's names at the beginning of each chapter was one of my favorite things. And the holiday food and drinks, sublime. I loved the community aspect and teared up a bit at the end.

Loved this Christmas novel, it was fun and light hearted. It’s a hallmark movie in a book, perfect for those winter evenings with a hot drink, a blanket and sitting by the Christmas tree with a roaring fire. Would totally recommend to all! I read this before fall and even before the approach to Christmas was even near and I loved it! It was different to read at that time as the weather was hot but it made it even more enjoyable.

A Cat Cafe Christmas was an absolute joy to read! Cats, Christmas, two grumpy leads and a charming opposites attract romance -sign me up!

Kara is a Veterinarian who's dedicated to rescuing animals, in specific, Cats. Kara and her best friend Charity have opened a Cat Cafe/Low cost Vet clinic, called Meow and Furever. While she has come up with the funds to open the Cafe, Kara is finding that it takes more than love to keep the doors open and Meow and Furever is in desperate need of a Christmas Miracle. Then along comes Ben, our grumpy male main character, with a brain for marketing and a disdain for cats. Ben and Kara originally meet outside of the Cafe and they hit it off until Kara realizes that Marketing company Ben works for is responsible for the long line outside of the Cat Cafe on a day when she's low on staff. But after Ben finds a cat inside of his apartment, he resorts to heading back to Meow and Furever and enlisting Kara's help, he then winds up fostering the cat and a new found relationship with Kara. Both Ben and Kara have traumatic emotional baggage but find solace in one another as they heal.

This was one of the cutest books I've read and it centred around so many things that I love. I also loved Kara, she is a great lead for this book and brought great representation for ADHD and Anxiety to the story. I adored the cats in this book and the little bio at the start of each chapter starring the cats up for adoption at the cafe. This book shines a light on the appreciation and love felt my cat owners and lovers alike, I have a deep love for my cats so this book really tugged on my heart strings especially because mine are both rescue cats.

A Cat Cafe Christmas is a loveable, closed door, Christmas Romance that brings all of the same warm and fuzzy feelings as a Hallmark Christmas movie and I absolutely adored reading it. This is the perfect Christmas read for Cat lovers and it is guaranteed to bring the Christmas joy into your life!

A big thank you to NetGalley, Forever, and Codi Gary for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In this cozy small-town Christmas read, veterinarian and cat café proprietor Kara and marketing man Ben don’t make the best first impression on each other, but as they get to know each other more, they realize that friendship—and maybe something more—can grow between them.

This is a cute read about good people who do good things for others. Both main characters have baggage that they need to work through, but with the help of a couple of good friends, a clowder of cats, and each other, they grow, change, and heal.

I thoroughly enjoyed the dating profile descriptions of the cats and their punny names at the beginning of each chapter as well as the antics and personalities of some of the feline friends—especially kitten Chaos who insinuates himself into Ben’s life—but overall, the book lacked a spark for me. It was a sweet, but not engrossing, read.

I received an advance copy from Forever and NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.

A book set during the holiday season with a lot of cats? Sign me up! A Cat Cafe Christmas is a little joy bomb. It is a sweet and fluffy romance novel, and would pair perfectly with a a nice mug of peppermint hot chocolate.

Like Ben, I didn’t think I was a cat person until a rascally little kitten came into my life. Now, anyone who knows me will tell you that I love my cat more than anything. Rescue pets are the best, and it was lovely to see that highlighted in a romance novel. I absolutely loved all of the cat introductions at the beginning of every chapter of the book. I frequently would read them out loud to my husband, and they always made us smile.

Both Kara and Ben emerge as likeable characters and solid people. How could you not admire a woman using her skills and veterinary degree to help as many cats as possible? Also, even though he is hesitant and grumpy at first, Ben still agrees to keep a kitten in his home to help Kara out. He also offers to help her with her plumbing problems and does everything he can to help her with the cafe. They both have some baggage in their romatic history, but it was lovely to see them commit to helping each other work through the trauma they’ve faced. It is really easy to root for them both and for their relationship.

This is definitely not a down and dirty romance novel. Of course there are some scenes depicting intimacy between Ben and Kara, but Bridgerton Season 1, this is not.

The Holiday season is definitely a time when family drama can bubble to the surface, and A Cat Cafe Christmas certainly captures that. Ben is hesitant to go home for the holidays to have to confront his brother who married his ex-girlfriend and decides that he would rather spend Christmas with a friend in Mexico than with his family.

I appreciate a romance novel that not only focuses on relationship success, but also keeps the professional lives of its protagonists at the forefront. Kara is passionate about her work at Meow and Furrever, but she also wants to expand and open a low cost clinic to continue to help as many animals as possible. In fact, Ben wants to help her reach her professional goals. He uses his skills in marketing to help Kara make her business successful.

I wish that Meow and Furrever really existed and that I could grab a coffee and hang out with cats there all the time. A Cat Cafe Christmas is as warm and fuzzy as the cats it depicts. Hallmark should definitely make a movie of this one.

This was a sweet, closed door romance with two opposites that fall in love. I enjoyed it and thoughts that it was cute. I enjoyed watching Ben fall in love with Chaos. I didn't really enjoy Ben not listening when she told him not to help, but overall I enjoyed this story.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of A Cat Cafe Christmas!

Kara works as a vet at her cat cafe and Ben works for a marketing firm. They meet outside her cat cafe and initially get along until she realizes his firm’s marketing plan is what caused a huge line at her cat cafe. It turns out that the cat cafe is not doing well financially so Ben offers his marketing skills to help turn things around.

I enjoyed reading the romance between these characters and watching their growth through their own personal issues. The side characters were also great - including the cats of course. This was a cute Christmas romance although it does start a little before Thanksgiving so it’s possibly more of a holiday season romance instead of specifically Christmas? It was a little slow to start but I ended up really liking this story! Each chapter also had an adorable description of an adoptable cat from the cafe.

A Cat Cafe Christmas is a really fun romance about a woman who runs a Cat Cafe and one morning, she runs into this marketing guy that she does not like at first. A kitten becomes involved and the more they spend time together the more they click. I have to say my favorite part of the story was the cats. At the beginning of each chapter, there is a cat with a description, I really loved that feature. There is a solid romance with great characters, but the stars of the show are the cats. I really liked how much Ben and Kara grew throughout the story, there were some pretty serious issues in Kara's past that made it tough for her to trust. This book is a real treat. Christmas lovers and cat fans rejoice!

Thank you NetGalley and Codi Gary for the opportunity to read this one - this was such an anticipated read this year. But unfortunately, it fell flat of that. I couldn't relate to the FMC and at times I found her to be quite annoying. It had a lot of opportunity for growth on both MC's and it just didn't get there for me. I had a hard time finishing it. I did enjoy the cat cafe idea. I am all for adopting!

2.5🌟

This story follows Kara and Ben, two people have been considerably hurt, in very different ways, by their previous relationships. This leads them to try and start fresh in California, professionally, socially, and romantically. Kara is a hopeful, cat-loving, and kind main character while Ben at first seems grumpy and stand-offish. However, I would not call this a grumpy sunshine because he's a total softie with EVERYONE! They help each other work through their relationship issues, but is it enough when their exes are back in their lives?

My favorite part about this book was the cats, duh. At the beginning of each chapter we read a cat's dating profile (from the shelter Kara owns), and it was so wonderful to read about each of the adoptable cat's personalities and then find out at a later point they'd been adopted! Chaos was a lil monster and I adored him, Theo was elegant and wonderful.

While the cats were purrrfect, the rest of the book just fell a little flat. I felt like I was being spoonfed everything, there were no stakes, no investment. I wish the reveal of each of their dating histories had been withheld longer because the way it started had me so intrigued! There was also no spice...like...none. And that's fine, if the rest of the book and the chemistry makes up for it, but I didn't feel it in this one. The pacing was also weird, it felt like it took a long time to read when I thought I would fly through it. They had an act 3 break-up in act 1? They just weren't my favorite couple.

All in all, if you LOVE cats, don't care about spice, and want an uncomplicated, very straightforward holiday romcom this is the book for you.
