This was SO cute and I flew through it on a short flight. It was certainly a little sickly sweet but I had such a good time and really enjoyed following all the characters' journeys.
Truly if you are a cat person, this book will give you GREAT joy

A Cat Cafe Christmas was such a cute holiday romance! I loved all the cat descriptions and cute names in each chapter. Ben and Kara were great together, too, and I enjoyed their friendship, then romance.. This is definitely the perfect read for someone who loves romance, second chances in life, and cats.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy through NetGalley and am voluntarily writing an honest review.
3.5 stars
A super cute story about a cat café that needed some extra love put into it, a woman who hates the media due to her horrible ex, a man who hates cats… for now, and charming side characters who work to bring the café up!
I have my complaints about this book, but overall… it is just so cute.
The FMC was a bit annoying, but watching her grow, although she started off childish, was nice to see.
The MMC, I appreciated a lot. He truly grew in a positive way, and it felt realistic.
There is no explicit spice in this book, so this is truly only for those who want a fluffy romance! Definitely good for a cozy night curled up on the couch during the holiday season.
The book was a bit back and forth with the conflict going on, which was a tad bit annoying, but the romance was just so sweet and cute… I was able to look past it, 100%.
Guide to my ratings:
5 stars: flawless, hard to put down
4 stars: it was really good and memorable
3 stars: it was good/okay
2 stars: no redeeming qualities and forgettable
1 star: horrible, had no idea what was going on, boring!!!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review, which has not altered my opinion of this book. I would like to thank NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for an ARC copy of this book.
I want to start this review off by saying that this book was absolutely adorable and I loved so much about it. The characters were golden, especially Ben and Charity. Those two were stellar! Both were honestly the best partners you could ask for, smart, sassy, and loyal. When it comes to Kara, I did have a few problems with her, and I won't lie that I ended up yelling at her a few times for being too stubborn and caught up in the past. I understand that I can't completely sympathize with her situation but I can see that she was holding onto things that should have been let go. Her relationships were what saved both her and the story itself. With Charity, she was obviously happier but she kept dwelling and it ended up really bothering me and I appreciated that Charity called her out on it from the beginning. And the one line near the end I was waiting for (I won't post it here because SPOILERS, but oooo it was coming and I appreciated the heck out of it!). I also appreciated her relationship with Ben because it was healthy and neither would put up with anything else. I could go on about these relationships, but that would take forever. Generally, I really liked these characters, though Charity and Ben were my favorite, along with the cats.
The story progressed in a way that made sense and still added tension along the way. I think part of the reason I have issues with romance novels and I'm picky about which ones I end up liking, is how the characters handle things. When I end up wanting to shake the main character and get annoyed at her afterwards, it tends to leave me frustrated rather than smiling at the cuteness of the endings. Unfortunately, that's a bit of how I felt about Kara and that did bother me. however, the rest of the book made up for it and it still gets a 4 out of 5 from me.

Cute Christmas story with the added bonus of cat adoptions. I loved the premise of the cat café but found Kara abrasive and not the best advocate for adoption; in fact, the way she treated Ben when he tried to turn in a cat he found on the street was appalling. Fortunately, I didn’t give up after that and got to watch her transformation to an almost likeable person. Ben was the better of the two. I loved the cats and the sweet ending to this one.

Kara and Ben had their hearts broken in disastrously bad ways. I won’t say what happened because it’s not mentioned in the book description, I’m just going to say that they have every reason to be leery of new relationships when they meet. But they’re draw to each other is impossible to deny. They are both truly good people and it’s nice to see them being treated the way they deserve.
Kara owns a cat cafe with her best friend. Kara is a veterinarian and she cares for all the kitties. They have more kitties looking for homes than they have interest led adopters. They also aren’t bringing in a lot of money.
They’re in need of a Christmas miracle.
I loved Ben. But neither Kara nor I liked him at first when he said he didn’t like animals. Then a feisty orange kitten showed up in his life and changed everything.
Ben goes back to the cafe to get Kara’s help with the kitten. Kara helps of course, but isn’t impressed with Ben’s plan to leave the kitten at the cafe.
Somehow, Ben winds up helping Kara with plumbing issues *and* she talks him into fostering the kitten for awhile.
When Ben learns the whole story about how Kara’s cat cafe is struggling, he wants nothing more than to help her.
These two were so cute but so cautious. Their pasta relations dramas had the potential to ruin their chance with each other.
On a Christmas scale, this book is not super Christmassy. There’s more focus on a big Christmas miracle than a bunch of smaller Christmas details. There was a bit of Christmas tree decorating but mostly this book focuses on whether these two can save the day for the cat cafe and find lasting long along the way.
One of the cutest things about this book was that every chapter describes a cat and has an absolutely adorable drawing of the cat. I love that!
Come for the cats, stay for the love story :)
I received an early ebook edition from NetGalley. Thanks!

A set around a cat cafe (and with a future veterinarian practice intact) that is about to crumble, A Cat Cafe Christmas is a sweet romance purrfect for the holiday season.
The two lovebirds, Ben Reese and Kara Ingalls, have a run in outside Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe before the holiday season starts. Their meeting is less than ideal as Ben's marketing campaign to revitalize the area the cafe is in falls on Kara's deaf ears. She is less than enthused by the huge crowd outside the cafe, full of patrons who won't help to profit their business that badly needs business. Their enemies-to-friends-to-lovers relationship changes when Ben finds a kitten in his home during a remodel that he needs help to re-home immediately. He goes running to Kara for help because he can't think of anyone else. As they get to know each other, they learn that their opposites may make each other better and help to meld the pieces of their broken past.
Although Cat Cafe Christmas mentions Christmas in the title, very little of the actual story takes place around Christmas which I found fine. I know some readers will be put off by that so I wanted to give a fair warning. I enjoyed that each chapter started with a brief description of a cat "available" at the cat cafe. It added another layer to the story. I found the romance a quick read and enjoyable. Like many Christmas reads it's a lower steam level and closed door, which I was expecting. I'll be honest and say I don't know if it's one that will stick with me for years to come.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4!
This was such a sweet, heartwarming read! I think it's perfect for the Holiday season or whenever you need a good pick-me-up. This has everything you want in a Christmas story; the Holiday feels, layered characters, a sentimental storyline, and some great bits of humor along the way. I also think it was effortless to get into and devour in one sitting. The writing and narration are easy to follow and flow naturally. While I wasn't overly wowed, I still think this was an enjoyable read, and it matches the genre/theme that it's in perfectly. I will say that I think the romance could've been heightened a tiny bit more. I would've liked to see more chemistry and tension between them, BUT I still found Kara and Ben's relationship adorable.
Overall, a sweet Holiday read! I would recommend it, especially if you love your Holiday romcoms!
Thank you to Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the chance to read this in exchange for an honest review!

I usually don’t read seasonal reads outside of the winter months, but I had to make an exception for this incredibly cute book—and I’m glad I did!
This is THE book for cat lovers, for the holidays and beyond. Each chapter starts off with a cartoon and description of a cat for adoption at the cat café, which has got to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
Most of the book revolves around cats and our interactions with them, from introducing kittens and cats to new environments, to finally meeting the purrfect match. But that’s not saying the romance takes a backseat, not at all. Kara and Ben have both gone through their own traumas, and at each step I was rooting for them to find ways to heal and be together.
Cody Gary is excellent at making the reader feel emotionally invested in the story, as I found myself getting madder and madder the more I heard about their stories and craved some restitution. That being said, I found the ending a bit meh, but overall I didn’t think it took away from my enjoyment of the story.
Overall, if you’re looking for a cozy, holiday read with characters you want to root for, and the tiniest dash of spice, add this to your Christmas wishlist asap!
Thanks so much to Netgalley and Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing, for providing me with an ARC of this adorable Christmas story.

This was a cute story that will be an enjoyable and fun read if you’re looking for a fast book to read during the holiday season.

What I Liked: When you title your book “A Cat Café Christmas,” there are certain expectations that come with that. Meaning…that book better be cute, and it better have a lot of cats in it. I’m happy to report that this book lived up to those expectations. This was a sweet yet surprisingly emotional book about 2 people dealing with their own personal issues and recognizing that they need to work on themselves before being ready to start a new relationship. I loved that this wasn’t a “I was a mess until this person came into my life and changed it” story but rather a story that takes the time to show the reader the work Kara and Ben are doing on themselves so that when they eventually admit their attraction to each other, it feels like they’ve done the work to get to that point. I’m making it sound like this book is heavy but there are plenty of cat-related hijinks to keep the story light and entertaining. Christmas plays an integral part of the story and fits into the story nicely, especially with Ben’s storyline.
What I Didn’t Like: This book has a lot of scenes featuring Kara and Ben’s best friends, but I never felt like I got to know Charity and Schwartz that well which was disappointing. I would read a future book with them as the main characters, but I wish we had found out more about them in this book. There were also some questionable phrases used throughout the book including “big-boned.” I thought that in 2022 we were done using terms like that to describe fat people. I also didn’t appreciate AT ALL that Kara thinks listening to audiobooks isn’t reading and that she looks down on Ben for thinking that.
Who Should Read It: If you are looking for a light, cat-centric holiday romance, I think you’ll like this book.
Review Wrap Up: This wasn’t a perfect romance and some of the characters said things and acter in ways that I didn’t like but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and I would recommend it to someone looking for a holiday romance. Bonus points for the adorable cat drawings that were at the top of each chapter, along with a description of the cat.
Rating: 3 Stars

I loved this book so much I devoured it in less than 24 hours! A sweet love story filled with personality and humor.

This was a super cute holiday read! If you love cats, or animals, this is the perfect book. It reads like a Hallmark movie and is perfect for the holiday season or whenever you need a little holiday magic!

If you love cats and romance then this book is up your alley.
Kara Ingalls has come to California for a fresh start. Along with her friend Charity, she opens The Meow and Furever Cat Cafe.
Enter Ben Reese. As a dog lover, he doesn't seem qualified to help, but as a marketing professional, he's just what Kara can't afford to ignore.
Now Ben has implemented a plan to find homes for all the felines in twenty-five days, and he's even doing his part by fostering a tiny kitten with a huge personality.
When Ben and Kara first meet there is tension. Both have a lot of baggage from a previous relationship.
I liked all the characters in this book. My heart went out to Kara for what her ex had done to her and her life.
Ben's brother I could not forgive no matter how much I wanted to. For Ben's mom to play a guilt cards throughout this book and not really see Ben's side just irritated me.
I wanted to adopt all the cats mentioned in this book and I would stop in a cafe like this just have a cup of tea , a book and a room to play with cats/kittens sounds like heaven.
Ben was not a cat person and he ended up finding a kitten in his house that he was renovating. He was hoping Kara would take the kitten and find a home for him.
Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for this cute book to review,

This book is adorable. I’m a sucker for cats and this made me want to adopt another one! The spice level on this one is very low, but it’s plenty sweet. I appreciated that both characters were able to grow and start solving their problems own personal issues… but it took a while. This is a holiday treat for the cat lover!

This book was super cute! As a cat lover, I loved the story and all the cats. The cat names/profiles made me laugh at the beginning of each chapter. I felt like Ben and Kara were both complex characters and showed some growth as the book went on. I also love how the book showed the importance of adopting a cat and giving it a furever home if possible. It just gave me some good feels.

**Thank you to Forever and Netgallery for giving me the opportunity to read this book. All opinions are my own.**
I listened to this through audiobook, due to me not being able to read books physically for some time. It's been difficult. But, the narrator at first rubbed me the wrong way with the MC's voices, but I got adjusted.
Overall, this story was good. There were some mishaps that I wasn't really enjoying, and it has fallen flat for me. But, the overarch of the story was good, and that was a good thing.
It was a fun Christmas story.

Arc from netgalley.
I tried to get into this book about 5 times and just got bored and put it back down. I couldn’t connect to the female main character.

We need more romances with cats in them. However, Ben ruined this one for me with his misogynistic tendencies, this isn't a dark romance he's actually supposed to be a good person. I loved the cat descriptions at the beginning of each chapter and though the cat café plot was cute, if super underdeveloped.
This book definitely had a holiday feel to it and I recommend it if you're wanting something that feels like reading a Hallmark movie.
Thank you to NetGalley, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and Codi Gary for an eARC of this book!

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read an ARC of "A Cat Cafe Christmas", written by Codi Gary. This novel was released on October 4th, 2022!
Overall, I rated this novel 4/5 stars!
Let's be real here for a second. Who WOULDN'T want to read a Christmas-themed novel about a veterinarian and a marketing expert who is trying to save the fate of a cafe'? You won't want to miss this "purr-fect" holiday novel!
I was especially pleased that it wasn't overly spicy and I loved the drama that surrounded the two main characters - Kara's ex embezzled her company's funds and Ben's ex is now dating his brother.
