This was a fun Christmas story that was filled with cats! I enjoyed this book, but felt that it was too long. It drug in the middle and I felt like the writing was overly descriptive in some spots. I enjoyed the plot and the characters and of course, the cats at the cafe!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced digital copy of this book.

3.5 stars! This was such a cute read; light hearted, yet developed, relatable characters, and obviously the cats stole the show. The perfect holiday read!

I absolutely loved this book! Both characters, Ben and Kara, have their personal emotional baggage which is written really well, helping them to feel incredibly human and real. I enjoyed the side characters as well and would love to see a second book written that stars them.

Thank you to Forever Publishing and Netgalley for my digital ARC. All reviews are my own.

The first half of this was so cute. The hero works in marketing and the heroine is a vet who works for a non profit cat cafe. The heroine was betrayed by an ex and the hero was as well, so they both don't want to trust people. I really loved how many cats were in this book and how the heroine was so passionate about them and turned the hero into a cat person. He keeps popping around and wants to help her get the donations she needs for her cafe. But once the halfway point came, the conflict was drawn out and the heroine constantly pushed the hero away when nothing was his fault. The book went on at least 50 pages too long and, at that point, I was over the story. So while it was a super cute holiday romance, the last half lost me.

loved so many things about this book! i loved the drawings and descriptions of the adoptable cats at the beginning of each chapter. i loved the strong friendship between kara and charity. i loved kara’s passion for helping cats in need. i loved seeing ben slowly start to become a cat person as a little kitten named chaos stole his heart. i loved reading about everyday life at the cat café. and i loved how kara and ben brought out the best in each other. this was such a heartwarming read for the holiday season.

Ben, marketing professional and “not a cat person”(his words) seems to have annoyed the wrong veterinarian. Kara, co-owner of the Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe, is living her dream - but when there are more cats than customers, it’ll be a miracle to make it past the holidays. Though his marketing ambush is not welcome, Kara and Ben will have to work together to get all the cat adopted so they can have a “meowy” Christmas.

Listen, I couldn’t help myself with that pun.

I had a lot of fun reading this one! One of the highlights was definitely Ben’s kitten - the fact that Ben was his safe person was the sweetest thing ever, especially with how reluctant Ben was to keep the kitten at all.

I also really appreciated the inside look at shelters - so many shelters have trouble making ends meet, and having a passionate vet who is willing to undercut her value for the animals is a common occurrence.

The cat dating bios throughout were adorable, and I was so happy to see kitties getting their happily ever afters too! What a sweet book, and a good reminder to adopt, not shop!

As someone who loves cats and Christmas I couldn’t think of a more perfect book for me. Waiting for the day I’ll find someone that will fall in love with me and my cat. 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves cozy Christmas romances (and cats)

This is a really cute take on a Christmas story. I love cats so that was an added bonus. The characters were relatable. I’ll be reading more from her in the future.

Cats and Christmas are like, my two favorite things, so I knew that I was going to love this book!

This was a delightful, tropey, Hallmark-esque romance and I truly enjoyed it!! This opposites attract romance between two people trying to start over was just the fluffy holiday romance I was looking for.

Kara owns the Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe. Unfortunately, she needs a miracle because she has more cats than customers. Enter Ben who is in marketing and has a plan that will help the cafe.

Ben and Kara were awesome. I love the grumpy meets grumpy side of it. They have both been burned in the past but I love seeing the romance bloom between them. The cats were absolutely a big part of this book and it's charm. Each chapter has the bio of a cat up for adoption and I loved it.

I love Christmas and cats. This book is lacking neither of those things. It was a nice, warm read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever Publishing, and Cody Gary for the e-ARC. This review is my own opinion.

This was a fun, fairly fluffy holiday romcom featuring cats and small businesses but also anxiety, betrayal, and angst. The setting and story premise were fun, and I enjoyed reading about the characters and their small-town adventures. It was sweet.

Love Christmas, romance, and cats, you will love this book. Kind of predictable, but it got the job done.

This was such 🐾 pawsitively🐾 fun and sweet read. I loved that the plot centered on the Cat Cafe, cat adoption, responsible pet ownership and feline veterinary care. It tied in a lot that is going on in the veterinary community with burnout, shelter statistics and the need for more resources which was great to see in a rom-com! As a cat lover I may be biased - but I absolutely loved the adoptable cat descriptions, drawings and adoption stories that were tied into the book! Even though this book takes place around Christmastime - it can be enjoyed all year round! 4/5⭐️😻

Thank you to NetGalley and
Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the complementary copy in exchange for my honest review.

This book was the perfect mix of all my favorite things. While the story dragged at times, I overall enjoyed this read, especially the adoption profiles for the cats at the beginning of each chapter!

This book was cutesy and cozy. I'm not gonna lie, the main appeal to me was the fact that it was a cat cafe. The story was cute, but I almost wish there was more to it???? It didn't give me those stomach butterflies like I usually want to have in a Christmas themed romance, but this one was cute.

An adorable hate to love Christmas book set in a cat café, any cat lovers will enjoy it a great deal.

The main character is bringing her romantic trauma along with her and ha to learn to overcome it.

I'm not entirely clear why she liked her ex so much and why she's still so hung up on him, but that's a romance novel for you.

The resolution happened very quickly, it felt a little rushed.

Warning to car lovers, if you don't already own a cat, the adoption descriptions at the beginning of each chapter might send you immediately to your local shelter.

I absolutely read this before the holidays and then just added it to the large stacks of books I have read and not reviewed…but I refuse to post this when January is over so HERE WE GO.

This was a cute rom-com and a quick read. I adored all of the cats and the fact that each chapter opened with a fun bio of each cat available for adoption. It reminded me of some fun Instagram and TikTok animal shelter accounts. While the story was sweet, I wasn't blown away. I liked both of the characters, and wanted good things for them, but I felt like the timeline for the romance was pretty quick. Honestly, I think my favorite part was how much of a sucker Ben ended up being over the kitten Kara kind of forced him to foster. However, like I said, this is a cute story!

Read if you're missing some holiday romance! :)
