This poetry book was one that needed more draft work . It feels like a person who was going for Charles Bukowski vibe and instead it came off as You Tube comments . There is an art poetry that is deeply missed here. It’s not random sentence and if it is it has to have some sort of rhythm rhyme or inspirational light that glows in the spaces between the words . A few were funny but most were angry and sad .
It’s too bad the writer feels people would pay money to listen him complain about other people .

Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book!

The author certainly has a take on things. Like truly. And maybe that take isn’t quite for me and I also didn’t particularly like the poetry that he wrote. I gave up around the 32% mark.

“Without these enduring souls carrying the weight of manufacturing here in the United States, we would all be suckling on the teat of communist China for every single thing we need to run our daily lives.”

Maybe I’m just the fool who doesn’t get the point. I wish Craig the best of luck but this collection wasn’t for me at all.

“And I really don’t give a shit what you are black, white, yellow, pink or whatever all our lives matter here and no I’m not asking for a parade at least not for today”
